I just got an e-mail warning me about the "Postcard from Hallmark" virus. It's supposedly the most destructive virus ever and all that. I was just wondering if this is real, because I've gotten a very similar e-mail before. Should I be worried, or is this just a prank?

So when you got that email, did you click the link in it? If so, have you kept your Windows fully updated? These things mostly go after computers that aren't kept up to date, because they're the easiest targets. From what Snopes said, this particular one probably wouldn't do anything if you're updated.

This is a real virus, and has a bunch of incarnations that it uses, most of which involve online greeting cards. I've gotten that email a couple of times, then they stopped coming.

Thanks for your 2 cents, Captain. I guess I'll be prepared and such for this.

Mmkay, you can lock this.
