I see this particular message all the time in edit histories, usually when someone reverts vandalism. However, unless I type it out manually and go to find the edit number myself, I never seem to get that message when I go to revert. Is that message the result of some sysop-only feature?
:Yes, you can create your own userboxes, provided that they are Homestar Runner-related. Images are not automatically formatted, but you can do it by specifying the the width of the image like so:
<nowiki>[[Image:FILENAME|41px]]</nowiki>
(the number of pixels might need to be tweaked depending on the height of the image. ::Hey there, Kermit. The answer to you questions depends on a couple things:

::1. As long as the personal image is a Homestar Runner image, then you ''can'' use it for yourself. The intellectual property doesn't belong to whomever's personal image it is. If it's something they actually made themselves, then you'd have to ask permission from them, though.

::2. I would probably pick "Used with permission". That one's safe, even if one of the others would fit better.
== Translations! ==

I was wondering: When I translate the sbEmails' subtitles, do I have to make intentional grammar mistakes, like the ones in the real email?

:If translating that way will keep the translation true to the original, then yes, include them. I'm not sure if we include the ''[sic]'' notation in subtitles, but this is where it would be applicable. — {{User:Lapper/sig}} 00:49, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
:::Remember, we are transcribing the spoken words, which should always be spelled correctly unless an intentional reference to the poor spelling (i.e., a weird pronumciation or such) is made. The apostrophe song might not make any sense in a foreign language without apostrophes, for example, so it's going to be impossible to perfectly make the transcript make sense in all cases, so best to be accurate to what was said. {{User:Qermaq/sig}} 21:13, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
::::Personally, if I can't find a good equivalent in Hebrew for a mistake (like [[-èd]]), I don't make the extra effort to make one up. Remember that when someone who don't know English is watching the toon, the subtitles come by fact and don't have time to figure out to complicated stuff. If you start explaining the joke within the text, or try to poorly translate it, the viewer is just going to end up confused. {{User:E.L. Cool/sig}} 14:18, 17 November 2007 (UTC)
To do that, just put <nowiki>{{userboxtop}}</nowiki> (instead of
{|
) above your list of desired userboxes, but remember you'll still need the closing
|}
. — {{User:SamFisher1022/sig}} 20:36, 16 November 2007 (UTC)
== Typo correct... ==

If you find a typo or misspelling on a user page is it against the rules to correct it? should i just notify the user if i do? [[User:Poopskin|Poopskin]] 18:07, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
:That's a tough decision. It is against the rules to edit another user's page, but I think fixing minor errors is allowed. It's also good to say in your edit summary why you edited the page, like "fixed spelling" or "fixed formatting" or something like that. — {{User:SamFisher1022/sig}} 14:23, 24 November 2007 (UTC)
:Misspellings are generally not something you'd want to correct yourself. If there's a single word or character that has wrecked the entire page's formatting, which happens more often than you'd think, then you can go ahead and fix it at that point. — {{User:Lapper/sig}} 16:53, 24 November 2007 (UTC)
:I personally would only edit a user's page in cases where the page rendering is ruined due to a mistake. A simple misspelling isn't something important enough to merit breaking the "don't edit other user's pages" rule, in my opinion. {{User:Qermaq/sig}} 21:02, 24 November 2007 (UTC)
::I would hate it if someone edited MY userpage to correct MY typos. Do I know whether you would you mind if I edited YOUR page to do fix it? No, I wouldn't and therefore I don't. But what you can do instead is send that user a message informing of the typo so they can fix it themselves. [[User talk:The Chort#SB Email 51|See my talk page]] for an example. {{User:The Chort/sig}} 21:25, 24 November 2007 (UTC)
== Fonts ==

hello again,
I'm improving my signature with a new fonts and i need a list of different fonts I can try (this is also a good thing to put on any of the Help:Signature pages if you have the answer.) I checked Wikipedia, but some of the fonts don't work here.
Thanks a bunch,
{{User:Kermit1234/sig}} 02:53, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
:For a font to "work", you need it to be on your computer and also on everyone else's computer. If you use a font I don't have, your sig will appear in the default font on my screen. It has nothing to do with the wiki and everything to do with whether the user has that specific font installed on his machine. Thus, any font can work here, provided again it's on everyone's computer. Bottom line is, not many fonts are that universal, so you will surely find some users cannot see your sig as intended. {{User:Qermaq/sig}} 08:02, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
::There are, however, a few magic words in CSS for certain types of fonts, namely sans-serif, serif, monospace, fantasy and script... which exact font they appear as will change from system to system, but they'll always do ''something''. They might not be that useful alone in a sig, if you want something fancy, but you can always go
<nowiki></nowiki>
... which'll pick one of those two fonts if the person looking at your sig has them, or fall back to sans-serif if they don't... it's the best you can do. Fonts are tricky things, fonts on the web even trickier. {{User:Phlip/sig}} 08:30, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
:::I would avoid fantasy and script, as they are poorly supported even among rather compliant user agents. (My installs of Opera and Firefox do nothing special foreither of these.) Serif, sans-serif and monospace will succeed in nearly all cases, though. They should be listed last in a font-family property. Ex. <nowiki>Text</nowiki> yields Text. {{User:Qermaq/sig}} 09:08, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
