-	Well, I was born in the fictional town of Lanksy Park, Minnesota, to my parents, a chipwich and a cup of coffee. When I was just three years old, our house was foreclosed, and we were forced to live on the streets, until my parents ditched me and caught a cab. That was okay with me, however, because I was then adopted by a much cooler family of hobbits. We were a happy family, and for five years, nothing went wrong… Until it did.

-	BLI was rising to power (for those of you not tuned in to the latest, BLI and BL/Ind both stand for Better Living Industries), and it wasn’t long until Dodo, the head of our modest Halfling household, was arrested for swatting a government Robot Fly. He died in prison.

-	Soon after the death of Dodo, the rest of my family began to go insane. I knew I could not help them, so I left Lansky Park and ran as fast as my short, stubby legs could go. I ran for, like, 2,000 miles, no joke! I ran all the way to California! By then I was like… 13. So anyway, I decided to camp out in Battery City for a while, until I knew where to go (LA was out, since BLI had pretty much taken it over, and I didn’t want my brain scanned, thank you ever so much!).

-	One night I was playing Thumb-Wrestling Myself when I heard a noise-it was the sound of an engine! A red, white, and blue convertible pulled up in front of me. The driver, who had bright red hair, leaned forward and asked, “You need a ride?” Well, DUH, I needed a ride, dumbo! I was out in the middle of nowhere, with nothing but a rusty old spoon! So I got in the car, and the handsome gentlemen introduced themselves.

-	The red-haired one called himself Party Poison, and his little brother (the scrawny one with blond hair) was the Kobra Kid. The other two were Fun Ghoul and Jet-Star, but I was kinda scared of them, so we didn’t talk much. Collectively, they were called the Killjoys. When they asked what my name was, I was pretty embarrassed that I didn’t have a sweet pseudonym to go by, so I merely said, “McGee.”

-	I lived with the Killjoys for a time, and it was pretty great. We ran around shooting bad guys with laser guns, ate asparagus from the can… Yeah. It was awesome. Until they decided I was too fat to be a Killjoy and that I was slowing them down. Well that’s not exactly what they said, but they were thinking it! Or maybe they thought having a girl in the group was “uncool.” Stupid prejudiced mumble grumble pompous windbag…

-	So they drove me to the Mexican border, but I was all “Hey, man! I don’t have a passport or anything! I don’t even speak Spanish!” And they were all, “Well what are we supposed to do about it?!” And then you’ll NEVER GUESS who showed up…
