But historically I've noticed that edits that were done out of boredom tend to cause a certain amount of consternation for those patrolling the edits, especially if the difference between versions is not obvious. When those edits turn into a flood, people get downright nervous, particularly if the user's intentions have not been previously stated on a project page and the user has no user page (practically speaking). I'm all for optimizing images, but if you'd like to continue doing so I think it would be prudent to bring it up on [[HRWiki:Projects]] to give other users a chance to weigh in. Also, let us know a little bit about yourself. You're obviously proficient in wiki markup and image optimization.
