Well, not to get too forum-y, but I think the Alternate Universe Portal works off the idea that there was a new universe created every time StroBro thinks of something. Look at Strong Badman, the animals, Vector Strong Bad. I'd say that Teenaged SB is more indicative of him not being 'real' then him actually existing. There's definitely some reference to Scooby Doo, but I think it's also a mashup with Battle of the Planets. Especially Homestar's ridiculous strip-ed pants and the gratuitous rock band.
