Hey there: I just noticed that you've voted on the "Salad as a rock" item in STUFF to accept both the revision and the original. Therefore, I thought I'd let you know that you can actually only vote to accept one revision or the original (but you can vote to decline any number versions). You'll want to remove one of your votes or someone will do it for you (at least by the time this item closes). Keep on tranglin'!

Haldo!

Welcome to hrwiki.org! It's dot net!

But seriously, welcome to the Homestar Runner Wikipedia. We're glad to have you as a member. If you need any help, feel free to ask anyone on the HRWiki Welcoming Commitee. You can also post questions on the FAQ talk page.

Here are some tips to get you started:

  • If you need general information, editing tips, or answers to frequently asked questions, check out the help page.
  • Before you do any significant editing, be sure to familiarize yourself with our wiki standards.
  • Read the rules and guidelines for your user page to make sure that you dont accidentally violate any regulations.
  • Circle every fifth letter in the article on Nunchucks until you find the clue that takes you to the hidden treasure!
  • If you would like to know about what you can do in order to help out the site, check out The Stick
  • If you need help on any topic not discussed on the help page, just contact one of the sysops. They'll help you out.
  • If you want to interact with members of our community here at HRWiki, head on over to the forum[1] to contribute.
  • If you see any vandalism around the site, ask someone to help revert the page to its original state
  • And above all, be bold and have fun!

You can go ahead and delete this message once you're done reading it. Normally, you are encouraged to not delete anybody's comments on your talk page, but this is just a welcome, so you can go ahead and get rid of this once you're finished. I guarantee that you won't hurt my feelings if you get rid of it. I hope that you find that the tips above help you out in establishing yourself into our community. I hope you have fun here! Now go out and enjoy yourself!

Sincerely,

Help

Hey there, LePorello. Welcome to our Wiki! I saw on your user page that you needed help making a signature. Go to this page to find out about all that stuff. Oh, and about pictures. Basically, all you have to do to put pictures on your page is to go to any page on the Wiki with a picture, click the edit tab, and copy and paste the image code onto your page. The image code should look something like this:

[[ThisIsACoolPicture.PNG|thumb|This is a cool caption.]]

Some will look different, though. I'm not really that good at explaining it. Ask anyone else at this Wiki for more help if you need it. Has Matt? (talk) 16:06, 30 December 2005 (UTC)

That's for images that are already on the wiki. If you want to add a couple of your own (and by the way, that's all that's allowed, two), see HRWiki:FAQ#How do I upload an image?. And hey, welcome to the double-threat wonder of Homestarrunner and this wiki! (I was a little disappointed to read your user page; I thought at first you might be a Mozart opera enthusiast; but props anyhow to anyone who uses the word "Leporello" in everyday conversation!) —AbdiViklas 17:04, 30 December 2005 (UTC)

Thanks! LePorello

By the way, I don't know if someone's mentioned this already, but one of the handiest editting tricks is that—if you're logged in—you can simply put three tildes (~~~) at the end of your comment on any talk page to leave your signature (it creates the same code you just used above). A fourth tilde will add the time and date (as I'm about to use), and a fifth will give just the time and date. And in general, it's nice to edit logged-in as yourself whenever possible, just so you're recognized. —AbdiViklas 17:12, 30 December 2005 (UTC)

Thanks to both of you! (By the way, I don't use "Leporello" in everyday conversation!) LePorello 17:28, 30 December 2005 (UTC)

Just Stoppin' By!

Sup man? Just noticed that you were kind of new, so, I know you've already been formally welcomed, but I just wanted to stop in and say hi! Happy wiki...ing... (oh, and check out your guestbook) teeeffoh! 21:33, 30 December 2005 (UTC)

Bolding/Italicizing

Instead of using <b> and <i> tags , you can also just use apostraphies. doing '''''THIS''''' will come out as THIS, the same thing as the b and i tags. You can also change the number of apostraphies on each side to change the emphasis.

Hope that helps. Thunderbird 21:50, 30 December 2005 (UTC)

Sig

First of all, click on the button on the top of your screen that says "preferences". It's between "my talk" and "my watchlist" links. Then where it says "Nickname", type this in: {{User:LePorello/Sig}} and make sure that the little box underneath it, about "raw signatures" is checked. Make sure you press "save preferences" when you're done all that, then let me know when that's done. Thunderbird 22:29, 30 December 2005 (UTC)

Go here. Whatever you make that page will show up as your signature. Let us know on the talk page there what you want your signature to be, and we'll help the best we can. Thunderbird 22:40, 30 December 2005 (UTC)

Quiz

I found your easter eggs. From top to bottom: the i, the !, the ', the 3, the other ', the ?, and the other i. Yay!--Image:Homsar-in-motion.gifhr.pngΨHomsarΨroksΨImage:kookysig.gifImage:Cheat-shrug-tiny.gif 22:52, 30 December 2005 (UTC)

Congraturation! BTW, did you notice that the last "i" linked to you? LePorello 23:17, 30 December 2005 (UTC)

I made a minor fix on two of your easter eggs, to make them a bit harder to find. ;) Thunderbird 23:25, 30 December 2005 (UTC)

What minor fixes? I couldn't find the fixes (though the easter eggs were all still there). LePorello 23:29, 30 December 2005 (UTC)

It's kinda hard to explain. I did this. Basically I just made the underlines in the links solid by moving around the spaces a bit, to make the easter eggs a bit harder to see. Thunderbird 03:37, 31 December 2005 (UTC)

Gotcha. Thanks for the sig! LePorello / T / C 13:40, 31 December 2005 (UTC)

I actually did noticethat the i linked to me. That was slightly more than minorly awesome.--Image:Homsar-in-motion.gifhr.pngΨHomsarΨroksΨImage:kookysig.gifImage:Cheat-shrug-tiny.gif 17:51, 31 December 2005 (UTC)

Update: There is now one more easter egg. Mu-hu-ha-ha. LePorello / T / C 21:02, 31 December 2005 (UTC)

I found it (it's a .)--Image:Homsar-in-motion.gifhr.pngΨHomsarΨroksΨImage:kookysig.gifImage:Cheat-shrug-tiny.gif 22:15, 31 December 2005 (UTC)

Stress Level

Can anyone find me a picture of the stress level indicator (the thermometer-like tube) with nothing in it? You know, just the tube and labels? LePorello / T / C 14:06, 31 December 2005 (UTC)

I don't think we have one of that. It only goes from "just fine" to "I quit/I need a vacation." teeeffoh! 20:59, 31 December 2005 (UTC)

OK. LePorello / T / C 21:02, 31 December 2005 (UTC)

It actually goes up to "Run for cover." I don't think I've seen one up that high, though...--Image:Homsar-in-motion.gifhr.pngΨHomsarΨroksΨImage:kookysig.gifImage:Cheat-shrug-tiny.gif 22:16, 31 December 2005 (UTC)

Homestar Quiz

That's a pretty cool quiz you got there! It's a lot harder than Bubsty's. I got 7 out of 10. By the way, did you actually count the number of clouds in level 6.1, or was it already on the page? Man, that question was hard! Well, anyway, see ya. Has Matt? (talk)22:51, 31 December 2005 (UTC)

I, believe it or not, counted the clouds in 6.1 (don't ask why). Hope I get more responses! LePorello / T / C 23:18, 31 December 2005 (UTC)

STUFF vote

Hey there: I just noticed that you've voted on the "Salad as a rock" item in STUFF to accept both the revision and the original. Therefore, I thought I'd let you know that you can actually only vote to accept one revision or the original (but you can vote to decline any number versions). You'll want to remove one of your votes or someone will do it for you (at least by the time this item closes). Keep on tranglin'! Heimstern Läufer 02:30, 1 January 2006 (UTC)
