'''Peasantry''' serves as the primary setting of the [[Videlectrix]] game [[Peasant's Quest]]. It is a medieval land mainly filled with peasants, archers, and knights, though creatures such as the dragon [[Trogdor]], the ogre-like [[Kerrek]], and the primitive [[Jhonka]] also abound. Most of the peasants reside in small [[Thatched-Roof Cottage|thatched-roof cottages]], many of which have been burninated by Trogdor. Its name is based on the land of Daventry, from the [[Wikipedia:King's Quest|King's Quest]] games by Sierra. It is also (presumably) the land where [[TROGDOR!]] takes place.

==History==
The history of Peasantry is a dark one indeed. In the early days, life was simple and happy. [[Baby Lady & Her Baby|Baby ladies]] stole money. Creepy [[Old Man|old men]] fished in the lakes. Then, the beasts came. Three horrible creatures struck and changed people's lives forever. One, the Jhonka, was a troll-like being that lived in a cave, hoarding its treasure. The second, a vile giant known as the Kerrek, invaded the land, squashing all who trespassed his fields. And the third, the most horrible of them all, was a dragon known as Trogdor the Burninator. Trogdor ravaged fields, squashed peasants, destroyed huts, and spread burnination all over the land. Ever since this day, while most of the peasants of Peasantry have lived in peace with Trogdor for centuries, some people did indeed live in fear.

It is revealed in the [[Peasant's Quest Movie Trailer]] that Peasantry has a monarchy—namely, the heretofore nameless [[King of Peasantry]].

Strong Bad also sometimes gives Homestar and Homsar SUPER-DEE-DUPER ATOMIC WEDGIES!!!. [[Marzipan]] usually does not appear to have legs, while some other toons claim otherwise. Few of the [[Characters#Main characters|main characters]] appear to have visible fingers, and none of them have ears, yet they still act as though they do. '''Headgear''' is any type of covering for the head, such as a hat or helmet. Every main character and a lot of the secondary characters have worn some type of headgear at various times, the styles of which vary greatly. [[Homestar Runner]] wears a [[Homestar Runner's Hat|propeller cap]], [[Homsar]] wears a [[Bowler Hats|bowler]], [[The King of Town]] wears a crown, and [[Coach Z]] wears a baseball cap (backwards) all the time. In the photobooth in [[Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People]], [[Strong Bad]] can wear a wide selection of headgear. In [[Where My Hat Is At?]], Homestar loses his hat and later finds it in his refrigerator next to some [[cold ones]]. The [[Broternal Order of Different Helmets]] wear a wide variety of helmets. Strong Bad's [[painting of a guy with a big knife]] wears a [[headband]] a lot like [[Wikipedia:Rambo|Rambo]]'s.

In addition to regular headgear, some unusual things can be found: For example, the members of the [[Homestarmy]] wear orange bowls on their heads, and [[The Deleteheads]] wear delete keys. Marzipan wears a fake afro in the Joy of Painting.

Interestingly, the only time the word "headgear" is explicitly used is in [[kids' book]] and [[Baddest of the Bands]].

Marzipan does not usually wear hat, but she has blonde hair and she also wears a bobble witch you might consider as headgear.
