'''Cheerleader''' is the de facto leader of the [[Teen Girl Squad]] whose "real" name is either Virginia, Joy, or Jennifer. She, like the others, represents a stereotype of a teenage girl; she obsesses about her appearance (specifically fashion) and focuses her energy on [[Cheerleader's Boys|dating older or more popular boys]].

Cheerleader aptly leads the Teen Girl Squad with her shrill and domineering manner. While the other girls usually follow her without question, they consider her leadership oppressive. After her demise shortly into [[Teen Girl Squad Issue 9]], the rest of the squad was overjoyed and cheered, "We're free! The tyranny is over!", as they were then able to follow their own pursuits, even though they were killed later in the issue and ended up as Cheerleader's servants once more, this time as ghosts.

Cheerleader's trademark is her dress, which sports a different saying in every episode. Most sayings indicate either her puerile nature ("li'l brat"), vanity ("2 cute"), or her never ending desire for boys ("boy monger"). Many of them contain phrases which are meant to have overtones of these traits, but are [[Deliberately Poor English|barely intelligible]] (such as "Baby Daddy"). She also has blonde hair, which she wears in pigtails.

Like the rest of the squad, Cheerleader often meets a gruesome or unexpected end. She does not always die, however: she was the sole surviving member in the [[Teen Girl Squad Issue 1|first issue]] and was nearly the sole survivor of [[Teen Girl Squad Issue 8]], but was apparently eaten "off camera" by [[Minor Teen Girl Squad Characters#A Shark|the shark]] at the end of the toon.

Despite her "boy mongering", Cheerleader has, as of yet, failed to successfully date anyone, with the exception of going to the Friday night dance with [[Eh! Steve!]] in [[HomestarRunner.com PAY PLUS!]] and the [[Teen Girl Squad Issue 15|Pretty Prism Junior Prom]] with [[Minor Teen Girl Squad Characters#Cheerleader Brian|Cheerleader Brian]]. When she tried to ask [[Minor Teen Girl Squad Characters#Quarterman|Quarterman]] out in [[Teen Girl Squad Issue 4]], she was promptly CEREBELLUM'D. In [[Teen Girl Squad Issue 5]], she was SAILING MISHAP'D after she yelled at the olda boys for correctly thinking she was the same age as [[So and So]]. The trend continues in [[Teen Girl Squad Issue 10]], where her attempts to flirt with a trio of Scots only results in her being CABER-TOSS'D to her death. However, in [[Teen Girl Squad Issue 12]], she goes on a mission to get "Valentimes Day" cards from as many different boys as she can and does, in fact, receive them, even if by force. She only values them for the "[[Minor Teen Girl Squad Characters#Mindy|Mindy]] cred", as she immediately dispenses of each boy after getting his card.

In issue 5, when she and So and So were trying to get the "Olda boys" to date them, So and So said they were in 8th grade. If this is accepted as accurate, she can be considered about 14 years old.

Cheerleader's mouth has a tendency to curl to impossible lengths. One such occasion was in Issue 10, upon hearing that [[The Ugly One]] was hosting a boy/girl party. This also happened when she was given a Valentimes Day card from [[Minor Teen Girl Squad Characters#Patchbeard|Patchbeard]] in Issue 12, and in Issue 14 when she says 'boys'.

In [[4 Gregs]], when [[Sci-Fi Greg]] asks her if she should be out leading cheers at the football game, she responds "No, I'm more a cheerleader in the way I dress and in the way I treat other girls," suggesting she isn't actually on the cheerleading squad.

In contrast, her pre-K counterpart in [[Teen Girl Squad Issue 7|Teeny Tiny Girl Squad]] was the chubby, foodaholic "Fattycakes". She is seen eating a candy bar that was "dipped in salt".

Russian uses the Cyrillic alphabet, and there are a number of different ways of transliterating it into ours. I've seen final "v"s and final "ff"s used interchangeably all over the place -- for instance, "Prokofiev" vs. "Prokofieff," "Rachmaninov" vs. "Rachmaninoff." I'm a Russian speaker, and I can tell you that the Russian "v" (or "в" in cyrillic) is often "de-voiced" -- that is, it sounds like an "f." However, it's still spelled the same in cyrillic. Therefore, although the "f" sound might be closer to the actual Russian pronunciation, for consistency's sake, I would normally spell it with a "v," since most English speakers probably will not know when or how to use the "de-voiced" spelling. However, a lot of Russian names are traditionally romanized with "ff" (such as Rachmaninoff) so it gets a bit confusing. Your best bet is to put down the most widely-used one.

On a similar note, I've put a more-correct definition and pronunciation of the word "русский" (roughly pronounced "rooski") on the section with the slang term for Russians ("Russkie"). '''STRONG BAD:''' Uh, hello and welcome to The King of Town special edition DVD. I am your host, America's number one son and sweetheart to all the ladies, Strong Bad. You're probably wondering what I'm doing the commentary on this cartoon for, and it's because they didn't put me in the freakin' cartoon, so, the least they could do is let me make fun of it. So, let's uh, let's begin.

Okay, now, this guy does not belong in cartoons. From what I understand, he's everybody's least favorite character, and I don't understand how he got his own freakin' cartoon, and I haven't even got... ''my'' own cartoon yet.

Oh, and the special effects here; look at that piece of crap! I mean, I really think that was a piece of crap tied to some strings... that they just... pulled up behind the mountains, you know...

And here comes mister prancy-time himself, Homestar Runner, to save the day. Personally, I don't know what he's doing not wearing his hat, because, he looks kinda creepy whe- when he doesn't wear his baseball hat. Or whatever that hat is, you got the propeller on it... I hate everything about that guy.

Oh, now this guy had some class. The blacksmith, that guy was a good guy. I hang out after the cartoon, we had some good times. Yeah, we-- oh, and THIS freakin' guy, man, he STANK SO BAD! I mean... you know, I would say that he smelled like crap, but that wouldn't go far enough enough. Imagine the worst thing you ever smelled, and pretend that took a crap. THAT'S what he smelled like. And this little guy, he gave me the creeps... I don't trust that guy any farther than I could throw him.

Oh, and Homestar wearing the graduate cap... I'll tell you what, I mean, Homestar never graduated from anything in his life. And, uh, that little X he just made... to tell you the truth, I don't think that he would ever be able to tell you that it was an X because I'm pretty sure he doesn't know the alphabet and I'm almost positive he can't read, so. Oh yeah, everyone has a good laugh...

And that place, the King of Town does not live in that castle! I can tell you that right now. I mean, like, he lives in like some two bedroom job next door to me. It's kinda run down and creepy. Yeah, you don't want to go over there, man.

*After the commentary, you can click the button on the King's answering machine. At first, it says: "You have no new messages. Ever.". Click on the arrow and it says: "Nobody likes you." Click again and it says: "You still have zero messages." Click again and it says: "You have no friends." Click again and it starts over.
