Dear Strong Bad,
What is your opinion of the effects
of in video games on children? Are
video games harmful to the
development of the human brain?

sincerely,
Wilbur, Seattle, WA
</pre>

{Strong Bad sings "WA" as a high note (pronounced "wa")}

STRONG BAD: Ohh, Wilbur. Sounds an awful lot like a little video game programming version of The Cheat.

{A balding creature with a human head, long hair, glasses, a beard, and a The Cheat body appears on the screen momentarily}

STRONG BAD: {typing} No way, Wilbur. Video games actually teach you all kindsa new stuff. Think of all the words we've learned from video games. {clears screen} There's "strafe." Who ever used strafe before they started putting it in video games? They used to just say, "walk sideways and shoot." Then there's "toggle." Y'know, you gotta toggle between the missles and the lasers. {clears screen} And who could forget "melee." Which I can only assume means, "a buncha peoples fighting, like, all at the same time." Plus, most video games provide a veritable what-not-to-do of spelling and grammar. {stops typing} Just give a kid a video game instruction booklet

{The cover of the instruction manual for "Strong Sad's Strafing/Toggling Challenge!!" appears on the screen}
*So and So only has a flower on her dress in the introductions.
*When Mrs. Commanderson is fully on screen, the foot/claw that has The Ugly One in it is white paper style.
*The title (Diaper School Grads!) may be a reference to i rule and Homestar Quiz.
*"I think I have a chance with this guy" is a reference to Teen Girl Squad Issue 2.
*The bell labeled "Bill Bellamy" is a reference to the actor and former MTV veejay of the same name.
{We begin by looking at a sesame seed bun with mayo being spread over it. Each time the knife passes over it, the credits displayed on the mayo change. "This is a Homestar Runner Cartoon" "Mike, Craig and Matt wrote it" "Matt and Mike made it" "Matt and Missy did the voices" "its called: Where's the Cheat?" We zoom out to see Homestar Runner in Marzipan's kitchen making a veggie burger. He puts green olives on top and sticks them on with toothpicks.}

HOMESTAR RUNNER: {making sound effects for the olives} Dik! Doing! Dik! Doing! {the sandwich is finished, Homestar lifts it up to marvel at his creation} Hmm! {Homestar walks over to Marzipan who's taking a nap on her couch} Hey stupid, I brought you this stuff! Oh, I mean, I brought you this veggie burger.

{Marzipan gets up from the couch and Homestar hands her the burger.}

MARZIPAN: Oh, thanks, Homestar! {she looks at the burger} Oh! He's just adorable! He's got a little face!

HOMESTAR RUNNER: Yeah, I thought that was great, too. The olives, um, kinda look like... he has eyes.

MARZIPAN: Little green eyes with red pupils and a big leafy smile? Homestar, I don't think I can eat this. He's just too cute.

HOMESTAR RUNNER: Umm... yeah. It's cute and all, but, um, it's not that cute.

MARZIPAN: Oh, yes he is that cute! Aren't you that cute? Aren't you that cute?

{The phone begins to ring. The following dialogue overlaps.}

HOMESTAR RUNNER: Umm... Marzipan? Um, I think your phone... is ringing. Yeah, definitely your phone's ringing.

MARZIPAN: Yes you are. Yes you are. Oh yes you are. Now do a little smile for me. Do a smile, that's it. That's it. Oh, I like your lettuce.

HOMESTAR RUNNER: Um... are you gonna get that?

{Cut to Marzipan's Answering Machine.}

MARZIPAN: {answering machine} Hi, this is Marzipan. Please leave me a message.

{beep}

STRONG BAD: {leaving a message} Oh hey Marzipan. Have you seen The Cheat? Because we can't find him anywhere. Anyways, this is Strong Bad -- uh, ooh, um... {clears throat and starts mimicking Homestar's style of speech, badly} I mean this-this is Homestar Runner. Oh Marzipan... um... I killed Pom Pom! {Cut to the stick, where Strong Bad, Pom Pom, and Strong Mad are there. Strong Bad is talking on Pom Pom's cell} Yeah, we're -- we were playing badminton in his yard... and I got mad and I killed him! {cut back to the answering machine} Oh no, I need your help... burying his body... {Strong Bad tries to hold back laughter, cut back to the field} uh, bring some towels... and some garbage bags... uh... this is Homestar... {Strong Bad closes the cell phone and tosses it to Pom Pom} Pom Pom, cell. {Pom Pom's body absorbs the cell phone} BWAHAHAHA! Oh man, that was so great! You guys shoulda heard that man! I pretended to be Homestar, and I said I killed you, Pom Pom! Like, Marzipan's gonna freak out --

STRONG MAD: THE CHEEEEEAAAAT! Huh?

STRONG BAD: Oh, The Cheat? Right, right. Pom Pom, cell again. {Pom Pom, lowers his eyelids in annoyance, bubbles, and gives him the cell again. Strong Bad makes a call, and Strong Sad answers.}

STRONG SAD: Hello?

STRONG BAD: Hey weiner. Is The Cheat over there? Don't you guys play Candyland sometimes or something?

{Cut to Strong Sad's room.}

STRONG SAD: Oh, no. The Cheat and I play Jenga on Tuesdays. Tonight is my night to play --

{Cut back to the stick, you can hear Strong Sad mumbling coming from Pompom's cellphone.}

STRONG BAD: Okay, so The Cheat is not there. Thanks. Bye. {hangs up and tosses the cell to Pom Pom} I mean, where could he be, you know? It's like, what part of "meet us at the stick" didn't he understand? Well, I guess we should go look for him. Come on, guys.

{They all walk off and arrive at Bubs' concession stand. Bubs is going over inventory.}

BUBS: 17... 24... 17... hey you guys! This isn't another shake-down, is it?

STRONG BAD: Naw, man. We're just looking for The Cheat. You seen him?

BUBS: Well, let's see here! {starts going through his inventory checklist} Candy bars, popcorns, ketchup, catsup... {arrives at "cheats... 0"} Uh, nope! I'm fresh outta Cheats.

{Using the veggie-burger as a scene change a la Batman logo in the old Batman show, we go to Marzipan's living room. She's talking to the burger, while Homestar is standing there in a daze, slowly tipping over.}

MARZIPAN: Somebody needs a name! Who needs a name? You need a name, that's who! I think I'll call you Homestar Junior. Homestar Junior! {Homestar falls over} Do a smile for me, Homestar Junior! Who's the cutest, Homestar Junior?

{We have the same logo scene change. We're at the locker room with Strong Bad, Pom Pom, Strong Mad, and Coach Z.}

COACH Z: Sorry, boys! I haven't seen The Chort! Though I have caught him sleepin' in that far locker there from time to time.

{Strong Bad goes up to the locker and opens it up.}

STRONG BAD: Lessee what we got in there... nope, he's not here. Though I see he has been cheating on his New Years Resolution. {pulls out a carton of cigarettes} Though I can't really blame him. You know, because he's The Cheat.

{Strong Mad holds up a signed picture of The Cheat that he gave to Strong Mad. It's signed "To Strong Mad, You are rad! -The Cheat" Strong Mad starts crying.}

STRONG BAD: Don't worry, big guy. We'll cut to a montage. I mean, find The Cheat.

{We cut to a montage. Pom Pom puts up posters of The Cheat, titled "Have You Seen The Cheat???? Ht: 1 ft. 2 in. wt: 18 lbs." He then bounces off. Strong Mad walks through the Halloween area. He approaches a car, and lifts it up, causing it to fly away. The Goblin is sitting underneath.}

STRONG MAD: The Cheat?

{The Goblin starts dancing. We do a logo transition, this time using one of the posters Pom Pom was putting up. We are in Strong Sad's room. He's playing Connect Four.}

STRONG SAD: Okay, your turn.

{Cut to the other side of the table, where Homsar is sitting.}

HOMSAR: Oh no! You shanked my Jengaship!

STRONG SAD: I shanked your Jengaship? We're playing Connect Four!

{Bubs walks in.}

BUBS: Hey you guys! Where The Cheat is at?

STRONG SAD: Oh, I don't know. It's just us two.

HOMSAR: AaAaAaAaAaAaA! Hey Tubbs! I just lost my Jengajam.

BUBS: Don't you talk to me!

{Bubs walks off. Cut to Strongbadia. Strong Bad walks in.}

STRONG BAD: The Cheat? The Cheat! {sighs} How's it going, tire?

{Cut to the Poopsmith and Coach Z near the Poopsmith's pile.}

COACH Z: So you haven't seen him then? {The Poopsmith shakes his head} Okay. So I see you still got your pile of whatsit there.

{The Poopsmith nods. We look over to see the King of Town approaching his grill with a steak.}

THE KING OF TOWN: Doo hoo hoo! Doo dee doo doo doo! Doo hoo hoo hoo! {he lifts the cover of the grill to find The Cheat sleeping there} Oh! That little yellow thing! Wake up!

{Cut back to Coach Z.}

COACH Z: Hey look! The King's gone mad with power! He's gonna eat The Chort! JEEEOOOOORRRHH! {Strong Mad walks up} I got him, Strong Mad!

{Coach Z jumps on top of the King of Town and they struggle. Strong Mad walks up and punches the King of Town, and they both go flying back into the wall of the King's castle. Strong Bad shows up.}

STRONG BAD: Hang on, everybody! The King of Town was not going to eat The Cheat.

COACH Z: Ooh jeeze! Sorry about that, there, Kingy!

{Coach Z and the King of Town walk up to the grill, and Pom Pom arrives from the opposite direction}

STRONG BAD: No, no, no, no. That's where The Cheat lives. That's his house!

COACH Z: Wait a minute! The Chort lives in the King of Town's grill, but you didn't think to check there before now?

STRONG BAD: Uh... well... yeah! I mean, it's a really complicated story. It all started...

{Marzipan arrives with the veggie-burger.}

MARZIPAN: Hey guys! Homestar Junior's talking now!

STRONG BAD: Who?

MARZIPAN: He said, "Put that freakin' sandwich down!"

HOMESTAR RUNNER: {from behind Marzipan} No, it was me!

{Marzipan holds up Homestar Junior so that it blocks Homestar's head from our view, making it look like the sandwich has a body}

MARZIPAN: I know it was, sweetie!

HOMESTAR RUNNER: No, it was me! Homestar Runner!

MARZIPAN: You're Homestar Junior, remember?

HOMESTAR RUNNER: Would you put that freakin' sandwich down!

MARZIPAN: There, he said it again! I'm so proud of you! Who's the best, Homestar Junior? {she continues to baby-talk Homestar Junior under Homestar's dialogue as the screen slowly fades to black}

HOMESTAR RUNNER: Somebody, can I get some help here? Strong Bad? Would someone talk some sense into this woman? King, you wanna eat that sandwich? Somebody eat that sandwich.

{Fade into a commercial for "The Homestar Jr."}
Fun Facts
*This is currently the longest 'toon, short, or email on the entire site.This is closely followed by Halloween Fairstival, which is 13 seconds shorter.
*"Where The Cheat is at?" is a reference to "Where my hat is at?", an old Homestar thing that was "Homestar's World Wide Web Debut".
*According to the credits, this cartoon was co-written by Craig Zobel.
*The monster that Strong Mad finds under the Gremlin is The Goblin from "Homestarloween Party".
*When the The King of Town is walking towards his grill, a flyer for The Cheat is seen stapled to his stone castle wall, which, of course, is impossible.
*Right before The King of Town comes up when Coach Z is talking to The Poopsmith, Coach Z quickly changes his hand gesture. The animators accidentally left the graphic for his other gesture there for a couple frames.
*When Coach Z attacks The King of Town, The King of Town's crown flips up on Coach Z's head.
*The old pop-up menu appears on this cartoon (at the bottom). All the buttons still work. Only this toon and A Jorb Well Done seem to still have it.
*The cookie jar in Marzipan's kitchen is modeled after Trivia Time, Pom Pom's dog that never saw the light of day in any cartoons.
*If you look at Strong Bad's eyes during the cell phone part, one of his eyes is smaller than the other.
*The cigarettes that Strong Bad finds in The Cheat's locker might be a reference to Strong Bad's Message Bored game "The Cheat's Smoking Challenge," in which players try to help The Cheat quit smoking. His addiction is revisited in the Strong Bad E-mail montage.
*The Cheat seems to prefer "Trophy Lights" brand cigarettes.
*The Cheat weighs more than 4 times as much as Pom-Pom.
*Homsars quote about "shanking his Jengaship" could be him thinking about battleship and/or Jenga (hence strong sads quote about them playing connect four.)
HOMESTAR RUNNER: Never fear, Strong Bad! I know how to fix your computer box! {he turns to the Compy}

STRONG BAD: {stands up} No no! Don't touch that!

HOMESTAR RUNNER: Your super box needs words. {His head falls off and onto the ground} Like these right here!

STRONG BAD: No, stop! That's not supposed to be possible!

HOMESTAR RUNNER: {simultaneously} Uhh, this one {picks up "downloads" from the bottom menu} and this one {picks up "games" from the bottom menu} and this one. {picks up "characters" from the bottom menu}

{Suddenly, several pop-up windows (including a real one) titled "Click on the Monkey!!" and featuring oldschool Homestar in them appear saying "Making out with Marzipan is totally awesome!" spawn. Strong Bad starts screaming and pounding the side of the screen with his fists. Cut to Marzipan's living room. Strong Mad is standing nearby and Marzipan is standing next to a huge stack of VHS tapes}

MARZIPAN: Well I think it's fantastic, Strong Mad! That's the best stack of VHS tapes I've ever-

{Marzipan suddenly turns into a ASCII rendering of herself, and her voice becomes extremely deep and distorted making her words unintelligible}

STRONG MAD: I CAN'T SPELL YOU!

{Strong Mad turns into a picture of himself from his character video inside a large M, which walks offscreen. Text appears at the top of the screen reading as follows}

<pre>
If anyone is truly a big lug, Strong Mad is. This guy is dumb
strong, and that's pretty much the definition of a lug. One ti
his brother Strong Bad asked him to pick up this one car. An
he did, but it was the wrong car. See? Dumb and strong. He'
</pre>

{Cut to the King of Town's castle. The Poopsmith is standing with his shovel extended and some you-know-what on the end of it, as the King of Town stands nearby}

THE KING OF TOWN: A little to the left... {the Poopsmith extends the shovel towards the King} Good, good.

{The scene suddenly changes to a TGS style piece of paper, with the text "issue 3.14159265and the rest" at the top. The Poopsmith is gone.}

THE KING OF TOWN: Ooh! Poopsmith?

{The Ugly One appears out of nowhere, her mouth huge and distorted}

THE UGLY ONE: I can do it! I can do it 9 times!

{The Ugly One extends her arm and starts slapping the King of Town}

THE KING OF TOWN: Uh! No! Please! Stop! I'm old! And fat! And rich! And cool!

{Cut to the Homestar Runner loading screen, which splits and reveals a screen with the text "It is now safe to turn your computer off." Bubs walks on from the side of the screen. His face is a broken JPEG, his legs are rendered in a fashion suitable for red/blue 3D-glasses, his belt is transparent, and he's carrying one of Homestar's legs}

BUBS: I shoulda done this, like, a million years ago.

{Cut to a cloud scene. Strong Bad is here and extremely glitched up and disproportioned, as is The Cheat who keeps floating around the screen randomly, interchanging between different versions of himself. A pitch-black Rather Dashing and a colon continuously fly by in the foreground.}

STRONG BAD: (using an old version of his voice) With Marzipan's Radish we gonna win the competition!

{An explosion sound effect is heard, and suddenly everything returns to normal, revealing Strong Bad and The Cheat standing by The Stick.}

STRONG BAD: Hey! He fixed it! That Bubs is a computer genius man! Let's do a dance for the computer genius man!

{A salsa rhythm starts up, and Strong Bad and The Cheat start dancing. The camera pans to the left to reveal Bubs holding a shotgun}

STRONG BAD: Thanks Bubs! How'd you get rid of th- wait. Why do you have a shotgun? What did you do? Where's my Compy?!

BUBS: It's in a better place, Strong Bad. Or rather, it's in the same place, but now it's got a big hole through it.

STRONG BAD: YOU MURDERER! You killed my brother! I mean computer.

BUBS: Look, Strong Bad, my mouth was a broken JPEG. I had no choice!

STRONG BAD: You don't understand! You ALL understand! I mean don't understand. AAAUUUGGGHHH!

{Strong Bad runs offscreen, very distraught. The Cheat makes some Cheat noises, and follows him. Homestar hops onscreen on one leg, holding his other leg up}

HOMESTAR RUNNER: Hey Bubs! Can I have my leg back, now?

{Cut to the Compy 386, which now has a giant hole through its monitor and most of the wall behind it. Strong Bad is sitting in front of it, head bowed}

STRONG BAD: {very distraught} Dear Strong Bad, I don't know the crapfully yours. {hits head on keyboard a few times} I-I don't know the crapfully yours. *sniff* I can't RELATE! {hits head on keyboard again} I can't RELATE! {hits head on keyboard again} I'm gonna get, I'm gonna get in there and MIX {hits head} it up.

{The Paper comes down}

STRONG BAD: {still very distraught} I don't remember your NAME, Davey! {hits head on keyboard again} Dear Strong Bad. {voice fades off} How do you text with boxing gloves on?

Easter Eggs
*If you click on the cog on the left at the end of the e-mail, you can see Compy 386 on sale at Bubs' Concession Stand.
*If you click on the fan on the right, you can see a Cheat Commandos excerpt, but instead of a gun, Fightgar holds Homestar's leg (which curiously works the same way.)
*When the Main page is encroaching on the top of the screen you can still click the Quote of the Week, Sketchbook and Weekly Fanstuff buttons to see them.
**If you hold tab until it highlights over where the updates are posted and hit enter, it takes you to Halloween Fairstival.
**If you mouse over the Quote of the Week, it bounces around the screen until it gets lodged at the top. When you click "Hear it," a pixelated broom scrolls vertically along the screen and makes a loud distorted noise, the same as is heard by Marzipan moments later and some of the links dissapear off the bottom of the screen. When you click the "X" to close it, the Quote of the Week box wobbles a bit and then falls off the screen and the links reappear.
**If you click on the Sketchbook, a picture of Coach Z upside down appears, with his arms and legs wrapped around a white space the shape of The King of Town's head. This image is from Where's the Cheat?, when Coach Z attacked The King over a misunderstanding involving The Cheat and a grill. The picture has a lot of numbers at the bottom. Scroll over the close button,which is misspelled as OC(x)LSE, and the words 'A BOOK' appear in green.
**If you click on Weekly Fanstuff, the Flash MX color mixer appears. Scroll over it and a green X appears overtop.

Fun Facts
*'Click on the monkey' is a reference to various popups where if you click said object (ranging from targets to, well, monkeys), your computer will usually get bombarded with spyware, viruses, etc

*The navigation and the email are combined into one flash file (so that Homestar can grab the words).

*If you click "main" on the navigation bar it says the 404 error. The address is http://www.homestarrunner.com/mainNaN.html. NaN is the computer term for Not a Number, which is obtained (among other ways) by dividing zero by zero.

*The quadratic formula is a mathematical equation used for finding solutions to quadratic equations.

*"Linux" refers to the Free Unix-like kernel originally written for the 386 by Linus Torvalds in 1991, or part of an entire operating system which uses this kernel ("GNU/Linux"). The name is often thrown around as a buzzword by those who do not know what it is, which explains Strong Bad's absolutely random use of the name.

*Bubs' computer expertise was first recognized in The System is Down.

*Strong Bad saying "Oh, a wise guy, eh?" is a reference to the Three Stooges, where Curly uses the very same phrase often.

*While the liquid is leaking out of the screen, the contrast buttons are still clickable and make the back of the screen turn blue.

*The Floppy Disk Container on Strong Bad's desk is labeled "Spy vs. Spy" before it melts into the desk. Spy vs. Spy, based on the feature comic of Mad Magazine, was a game for old computers and the NES that featured innovative split screen gameplay.

*"FLAGRANT SYSTEM ERROR" comes from 50 emails. His response that it's not a "good prize" comes from Pumpkin Carve-nival.

*The fate of Strong Bad's table may be a reference to Star Trek: The Next Generation. When the holodeck went haywire, patches of it would appear only as the underlying grid, just as the table does.
**The vector-ized table also references the game StrongBadZone with its red and black graphics.

*When Strong Sad appears after the water flows out of the Compy 386, if you look to the top right corner you see the words "Stave it off 1, 2, 3..." which is an obvious reference to the Strong Bad e-mail for kids.

*The card that Strong Sad transforms into is from the original deck of Trading Cards that has since been removed from the site.

*The part where Homestar is followed by "ghost" images of himself is a Flash in-joke, refering to the onion-skinning feature of the program that will display translucent images of previous frames as an animation guide.

*When Homestar appears on the screen his body is that of Old Timey Homestar.

*After Homestar removes the words "games", "characters", and "downloads" from the bottom of the screen, all of the other words, except for "toons", are still clickable.

*The "Click the Monkey" phrase, "Making out with Marzipan is totally awesome", was once the phrase necessary to trigger the Strong Bad Talker from the Homestar Talker. It has since been changed, though. The phrase is also heard in The Cheat Theme Song.

*Strong Mad's description, which appears when he glitches, comes from the last iteration of the Characters page (The Yearbook).

*Note that the sound Strong Mad makes as he leaves off the screen is the same as Homsar's movement noise.

*The issue number of the Teen Girl Squad is the first nine digits of Pi (3.14159265 and the rest). The "And the rest" may be a reference to the first Gilligan's Island theme song, where the chorus sang some of the main character's name but then just sang "and the rest" instead of the other's names.

*The Ugly One's line, and the sound effects played after that come from The Cheat's cartoon in crazy cartoon/Crazy Cartoon (toon).

*The "It is now safe to turn off your computer" screen is from old Windows 95 Machines which could not turn themselves off.
**They got it slightly wrong in the cartoon though--"It's now safe to turn your computer off." This may have been intentional.

*During the big glitch scene right before Bubs "fixes" the computer, we can hear the song from the intro of Parsnips-A-Plenty and That a Ghost.

*Strong Bad talking about radishes is from The Reddest Radish, and in fact is the actual clip of his voice from that cartoon.

*As Bubs is walking across the screen the first time, his right arm is moving as if stuck in position #5 and his left arm stuck in position #4 of a game of Dancin' Bubs.

*The sound that the shotgun makes (i.e. everything returning to normal) is the same sound as when The Cheat's head explodes.

*After the computer is destroyed, the contrast buttons are no longer clickable.

*Bubs selling the broken Compy 386 (easter egg) is a reference to E-mail, in which we learn Bubs had also sold the broken Tandy 400.

*This is most likely the end of the Compy 386 era. We should see a new computer in the next email or so. The last computer change was in invisibility.
**On the DVD commentary for invisibility, they were discussing the possibility that they would retire Compy and replace it with a laptop named "Lappy;" the part about the laptop may or may not be a joke.

*This is one of only a few emails where the characters seem to "break the fourth wall" by recognizing their existence as cartoon characters on a computer screen rather than in a fictional world of their own. Other emails where they do this are flashback (they extend the size of the display area and Homestar is "behind the black"), for kids where Strong Bad alludes to the idea of children at home watching the emails, the process (the entire email implies that Strong Bad is aware that he is a cartoon being watched by people at home), and extra plug (the scene at the end with the cast making a fake e-mail give the impression that Strong Bad knows someone's watching, and that they want to see the e-mail finished).

*The page title is "Compy 386??", which is referring to the fact that the Compy 386 is clearly destroyed in this e-mail.

*When Bubs walks across the screen with Homestar's leg, his lower half is done in two layers of red and blue. Watching this scene with red and blue 3D glasses makes Bubs vaguely 3D.

*When Bubs' mouth is a broken JPEG, it has the letters "TH." This is a reference to his other identity, The Thnikkaman.

*If you click on the 'Quote of the week button easter egg', the buttons at the bottom that are eventually removed by Homestar are removed prematurely, yet still clickable. Close the box, and the buttons reappear.

*The 'Quote of the week' box is actually mirrored at the time that it falls off the screen. Also, instead of the usual 'Download It' option, it says 'Don't TAPE it'. It is clickable, pressing the mouse button down over the word shows 'Don't TAKE it' in a different colored font, but nothing happens when you release the mouse button.

*When the screen comes up to say 'It is now safe to turn off your computer', the rest of the navigation buttons at the bottom disappear, and don't reappear the entire rest of the toon.

*ERT+ is shorthand for the female hormone estrogen.

*When Strong Bad says, "Meet my main man Edgar," it might be a reference to the 2 years e-mail, where he says his main man is Van Mundegaarde.

*Edgarware is probably a spoof of numerous virus/adware/spyware tools, such as Norton Anti-Virus or Ad-Aware.

*In order for Strong Bad to obtain 423,827 viruses, he had to obtain roughly 786 viruses a day. That's about 32 an hour, and 1 every two minutes. (This is only if Strong Bad had had the Compy 386 for 77 weeks, which is not totally, but technically true, considering there are many times where he hasn't had an e-mail every week.)

*The fan and cog in the Compy 386 are the same fan and cog in the Tandy 400 from Strong Bad.

*The Compy's screen melting could be an obscure referance to the horror movie "The Ring" in which the victim's TV screen started leaking right before they died.

{The corner of the computer desk briefly flashes, showing an underlying gridwork to it, The No Loafing sign becomes the following text and falls off the wall.}

<pre>
<head>
<href>No loafing</href>
<body>
</pre>

{The Floppy Disk Container gets swallowed by the computer desk, and Strong Sad walks in, but his head has been replaced by his emoticons from Strong Sad's Lament which floats a foot to the left of where it should be.}

STRONG SAD: Strong Bad, what's going on?

STRONG BAD: WAH! Uh, I dunno. You forgot to wear your neck?

STRONG SAD: Have you been using the internet irresponsibly?

{The top of the Main Page starts to creep into the top of the email, with the text "Stave it off, 1, 2, 3," in the corner in place of the "What's new" text}

STRONG BAD: No more irresponsibly than usual.

STRONG SAD: {Lower body starts walking away in place} Did you get a virus?

STRONG BAD: Uhhh, no.

STRONG SAD: Did you get four hundred thousand viruses?

STRONG BAD: Yes. VERY yes.

STRONG SAD: Well hurry up and do something about it before it gets worse!

{Strong Sad turns into a Strong Sad trading card and flies up and off the screen. The Main Page at the top of the screen disappears}

STRONG BAD: The Cheeeaaat!

{Strong Bad runs off the screen and into the black to the right of the computer desk, then stops}

STRONG BAD: What the? Whoa! It's cold out here!

{Strong Bad tries to jump back onto the screen, but it shifts left, causing him to still fall on blank space}

STRONG BAD: Hey!

{Homestar Runner walks onscreen. His body is 1936 The Homestar Runner's body, while the rest of him is normal. Instead of his legs moving, he just glides on, producing several ghost images of himself}

HOMESTAR RUNNER: Never fear, Strong Bad! I know how to fix your computer box! {he turns to the Compy}

STRONG BAD: {stands up} No no! Don't touch that!

HOMESTAR RUNNER: Your super box needs words. {His head falls off and onto the ground} Like these right here!

STRONG BAD: No, stop! That's not supposed to be possible!

HOMESTAR RUNNER: {simultaneously} Uhh, this one {picks up "downloads" from the bottom menu} and this one {picks up "games" from the bottom menu} and this one. {picks up "characters" from the bottom menu}

{Suddenly, several pop-up windows (including a real one) titled "Click on the Monkey!!" and featuring oldschool Homestar in them appear saying "Making out with Marzipan is totally awesome!" spawn. Strong Bad starts screaming and pounding the side of the screen with his fists. Cut to Marzipan's living room. Strong Mad is standing nearby and Marzipan is standing next to a huge stack of VHS tapes}

MARZIPAN: Well I think it's fantastic, Strong Mad! That's the best stack of VHS tapes I've ever-

{Marzipan suddenly turns into a ASCII rendering of herself, and her voice becomes extremely deep and distorted making her words unintelligible}

STRONG MAD: I CAN'T SPELL YOU!

{Strong Mad turns into a picture of himself from his character video inside a large M, which walks offscreen. Text appears at the top of the screen reading as follows}

<pre>
If anyone is truly a big lug, Strong Mad is. This guy is dumb
strong, and that's pretty much the definition of a lug. One ti
his brother Strong Bad asked him to pick up this one car. An
he did, but it was the wrong car. See? Dumb and strong. He'
</pre>

{Cut to the King of Town's castle. The Poopsmith is standing with his shovel extended and some you-know-what on the end of it, as the King of Town stands nearby}

THE KING OF TOWN: A little to the left... {the Poopsmith extends the shovel towards the King} Good, good.

{The scene suddenly changes to a TGS style piece of paper, with the text "issue 3.14159265and the rest" at the top. The Poopsmith is gone.}

THE KING OF TOWN: Ooh! Poopsmith?

{The Ugly One appears out of nowhere, her mouth huge and distorted}

THE UGLY ONE: I can do it! I can do it 9 times!

{The Ugly One extends her arm and starts slapping the King of Town}

THE KING OF TOWN: Uh! No! Please! Stop! I'm old! And fat! And rich! And cool!

{Cut to the Homestar Runner loading screen, which splits and reveals a screen with the text "It is now safe to turn your computer off." Bubs walks on from the side of the screen. His face is a broken JPEG, his legs are rendered in a fashion suitable for red/blue 3D-glasses, his belt is transparent, and he's carrying one of Homestar's legs}

BUBS: I shoulda done this, like, a million years ago.

{Cut to a cloud scene. Strong Bad is here and extremely glitched up and disproportioned, as is The Cheat who keeps floating around the screen randomly, interchanging between different versions of himself. A pitch-black Rather Dashing and a colon continuously fly by in the foreground.}

STRONG BAD: (using an old version of his voice) With Marzipan's Radish we gonna win the competition!

{An explosion sound effect is heard, and suddenly everything returns to normal, revealing Strong Bad and The Cheat standing by The Stick.}

STRONG BAD: Hey! He fixed it! That Bubs is a computer genius man! Let's do a dance for the computer genius man!

{A salsa rhythm starts up, and Strong Bad and The Cheat start dancing. The camera pans to the left to reveal Bubs holding a shotgun}

{Strong Bad runs offscreen, very distraught. The Cheat makes some Cheat noises, and follows him. Homestar hops onscreen on one leg, holding his other leg up}

HOMESTAR RUNNER: Hey Bubs! Can I have my leg back, now?

{Cut to the Compy 386, which now has a giant hole through its monitor and most of the wall behind it. Strong Bad is sitting in front of it, head bowed}

{The Paper comes down}

*The compy's screen melting could be an obscure referance to the horror movie "The Ring" in which the TV screen started leaking right before the person died.
Transcript
STRONG BAD: Man, if I had a nickel for every email I get, I would throw them at people in the food court. From that railing, like up above.

{Starts reading with "Da da da--"}

<pre>Dear Strong Bad,
Dude, who cuts your hair? It's
sooo coull. I can't decide what to
do with mine, any suggestions?

Harry Earlemacherg
D&uuml;sseldorf</pre>

{Strong Bad pronounces "coull" just like it is spelled, and in place of "Earlemacherg", he says "ergonomics"}

{typing} I got no hair, D&uuml;sseld&ouml;rke, so I'm gonna have to reach on this one. Now who's got hair around here?

{Cut to Strong Bad and Marzipan by the gazebo. Strong bad is holding scissors.}

MARZIPAN: You've got to be kidding me.

{Cut to Strong Bad and The Poopsmith in the field. The Poopsmith points to one of his hairs.}

STRONG BAD: Uh... never mind.

{Cut to Strong Bad and Marzipan by the gazebo again.}

MARZIPAN: I'm growing it out for charity.

{Cut to Strong Bad and The King of Town by the castle.}

THE KING OF TOWN: Nobody touches the 'stache.

{Cut to close up of Homestar. He's got an angry look on his face.}

HOMESTAR: N O spells no.

{Fade back to show that Homestar is off by himself, talking to no one, while Strong Bad and the King of Town are in the background.}

STRONG BAD: I didn't even ask you, Baldy!

{Homestar looks shocked. Cut to Strong Bad and Marzipan by the gazebo again.}

MARZIPAN: This is a weave.

{Cut back to Strong bad at the Compy.}

STRONG BAD: {typing} Sorry Ger-man. Looks like I can't practice my barber wizardry, or barbzerdry as I call it, on anybody around here. So, I guess you're on your own. I ghe

{Widen to show Strong Mad standing next to Strong Bad. Strong Mad has a box.}

STRONG MAD: MAKE IT DANCE! MAKE IT PRANCE!!!

STRONG BAD: Uh, I'll make that cardboard box dance and prance later, big guy. I'm in the middle of...

{Zoom in on Strong Mad's eye brows.}

Ah ha! Pay dirt!

{A camera flash goes off and the screen goes white. Fade back to Strong Bad at the Compy. An instant camera type photo of Strong Mad is taped to Compy. It develops as Strong Bad talks.}

Okay, now that I have Strong Mad's image... um... scanned in to the computer, I'll use my cutting art, state of the edge technology to simulate different hairstyles. On his eyebrows. I'll just get out my "LIGHT PEN" here.

{Strong Bad's hand comes up. He has a marker and starts to draw on the picture.}

First, for the Strong Mad who's out on the prowl, no woman can resist the distinguished grace of what I like to call: The "Gentleman Caller".

{Draws Gentleman like eyebrows. "Gentleman Caller" flashes on the screen.}

Or,

{Wipes picture clean. We zoom in a bit on the picture.}

Experience the lightning brows of "Jagged Metal".

{Draws lightning type eyebrows. "Jagged Metal" flashes on the screen.}

Oh, and he's definitely going to need a guitar.

{Draws a guitar. It ends up in the middle of Strong Mad's face.}

STRONG MAD: I DON'T WANT TO EAT A GUITAR!

STRONG BAD: You're not eating it... you're shredding some hot lixxs... with your teeth.

{Strong Bad makes a guitar noise as he draws a whammy bar on the guitar. He then wipes the picture clean.}

Or experience the urban flavor of: "Hammer Pants".

{He draws some funky eyebrows with a fade and adds a comic balloon pointing to Strong Mad's mouth that says "proper!". He then wipes the picture clean.}

And for the Strong Mad who's not so concerned with attracting ladies: "Big Ol' Eyebrows".

{He draws some big ol' eyebrows.}

I should probably go ahead and give him some missing teeth...

{Blackens Strong Mad's upper-right central incisor and upper-left cuspid.}

Acne...

{Draws spots on Strong Mad's face.}

One of them butt chins.

{Draws a butt chin.}

There we go. One hundred and ten percent lady-proof.

{He wipes the picture clean. He then draws a dog and a cat for eyebrows.}

"A Dog and Also a Cat Shaped Eyebrows."

{"A Dog and Also a Cat Shaped Eyebrows" flashes on the screen.}

And a couple of muskrats.

{He adds two muskrats. He then wipes the picture clean.}

And don't forget: the "Ready for Primetime".

{Draws a picture he clearly got carried away with. "Ready for Primetime" flashes on the screen.}

Which I admit I got a little carried away with.

STRONG MAD: SWEETIE CAKES! SWEETIE CAKES!!!

STRONG BAD: Sweetie cakes? What are you ta-- O-oh, yeah I guess it does look a little bit like one of them "Sweet Cuppin' Cakes" guys.

{Draws an "Eh! Steve" looking character.}

Eh! Craig.

{Wipes picture clean.}

{Strong Bad takes the picture down and starts typing.}

So that gives you a lot to choose from, Deutschman. I think you could easily apply all my eyebrow style to your {pauses} headbrow style. So good luck witchasself. I have to use my "LIGHT PEN" on napping Strong Sad. Prreeow.
Fun Facts
*The game(s) in the floppy disk holder are "Tengen Classics" Tengen was a front for Atari, allowing Atari to make games (illegally) for the NES.
*On the "Light Pen" it says "Fine Tip Permanent Marker".
*The Deutschman comic book is published by Cheap as Free. The comic is a reference to superhero name.
**Both comics have a parody of the old Spiderman head that's in the bottom corner of the old Marvel comics (except that it's Strong Bad's head instead of Spiderman's).
*"Deutsch" is German for "German".
*Strong Bad's "permanent" marker isn't permanent at all.
*Here's a list of the different eyebrow styles:
**"Gentleman Caller"
**"Jagged Metal"
**"Hammer Pants"
***Hammer Pants were those pants MC Hammer used to wear and made famous.
**"Big Ol' Eyebrows"
**"A Dog And Also A Cat Shaped Eyebrows" (and a couple of muskrats)
**"Ready For Primetime"
***After Strong Mad talks about "Sweetycakes", Strong Bad draws Eh! Steve and says "Eh, Greg!," contrary to his usual "Eh, Steve!"
*Strong Bad must have a pretty spiffy keyboard. He can Umlaut (oom-louwt) his "O"s really quickly. Normally you need to change the language on your keyboard or use alt commands (&ouml;).
*The box says "GLUTEMATES (BOX OF 6)". (it's faded)
*A light pen is kind of like the thing that John Madden uses. You know, the "this guy went here, this other guy went WAY around here and BOOM!" thing with the yellow writing on the screen.
*In the "napping Strong Sad" easter egg, Strong Sad is naming off Smurfs in his sleep. Smurf names mentioned by Strong Sad in his sleep:
**Jokey Smurf
**Brainy Smurf
**"That Carpenter Smurf"
***(probably referring to Handy Smurf but forgetting his name)
*Strong Sad goes on to say "Watch out Julian Sands!" ref. to a British horror film actor.
**in Julian Sands film, he chops off his girlfriends legs and arms because he wanted to do everything for her, and than the police sneak up on him and bashed him on his head. (The film in question is "Boxing Helena".)
*The face that Strong Bad has drawn on Strong Sad in his sleep loosely resembles "Tendafoot," the elephant he drew in crying which he claimed represented Strong Sad.
*If Strong Bad really did have a nickel for every email he has done up through this one, he would have $5.15.
**Actually, he does receive a quarter for each email address he gives Bubs, as per unused emails.
*Strong Bad says he has no hair, but in theme park he has been working on the theme park as long as he's been "growing his mustache"
**In gimmicks, the blackened stuff on his head looks like hair.
*The hat drawn on Strong Sad looks like Ash's from the Pokémon anime series,complete with hair.
*When he says "prreeow," it's a reference to the sound that The Paper makes.
