With such an expansive bank of cartoons that rely so heavily on whimsical humor, it would be near impossible for [[the Brothers Chaps]] to keep the [[Homestar Runner universe]] completely consistent and have total continuity between cartoons. Because of this large size and humorous nature, various '''inconsistencies''' occur throughout the [[Homestar Runner (body of work)|body of work]]. These are usually very minor. According to the site's [[FAQ]], people often ask the Brothers Chaps about inconsistencies; to these questions they answer that "It was either done on purpose or [[TVTropes:Main/MST3KMantra|it's just a cartoon and you probably shouldn't worry about it]]."

However, Homestar had been clearly featured in the episode prior to that moment, with no sandwich on his face. The only possible time when this action could have taken place was between Strong Bad's rally, the last time Homestar had been featured on screen, and Strong Bad's conversation with The Cheat, during which neither would have had the opportunity to pull off this prank.
**[[Tony Stony]] is depicted as much smaller in comparison to Strong Mad than in his first appearance in [[Homestar Presents: Presents]]. Presumably, this was done to make it more realistic that Strong Bad could carry Tony Stony in his pants (inventory). Paradoxically, however, Strong Bad remarks that Tony Stony has "put on a few pounds" since his last appearance.

I just watched the X-Play Review of Guitar Hero II on the Xbox 360, and what they had was a final copy, obviously, and they showed a section that showed a downladed track (the section was called "Downloaded Songs") called "Rodgort"....is this a reference to Trogdor?

:I think that's a test DLC track actually stored on the disc, which was not enabled in the actual retail copy of the game. I just extracted an Xbox 360 GH2 ISO, and there's an "xboxlive" folder with one song, called "rodgort". There's nothing special about it, haven't looked at the note chart but the audio is just standard Trogdor, probably the files are direct copies of the "trogdor" song folder. Just by looking at the file sizes, the only difference is in the .voc file for the song, which is about 10KB larger in the "rodgort" version (and is in fact the exact same file as trogdor.voc from the PS2 version, no idea why they changed it). I think that has to do with the singer's vocal animations, but I'm not entirely sure as I mostly work with the PS2 version and don't really care about the .voc when making customs. Either "rodgort" is visible on test 360 kits when using the retail game, or they didn't quite have the retail disc but a slightly earlier version of it. Because the quiz where the refrence is made is based on all the story so far, it is likely that it was one of the last things added, early to mid 2000. Most likely a Rare employ just said, "Oh bugger, I've got a deadline so I'll just add this question and make one of the answers a refrence to some website some Yankes showed to me." While an arguement that the Marzipan refrenced is indeed the culanary item, that dosen't follow Banjo-Tooie's humor. Most of Banjo-Tooie's humor was referential. For examble there is a [[Wikipedia:Donkey Kong (character)|Donkey Kong]] doll, a [[Wikipedia:Donkey Kong 64]] logo, [[Wikipedia:Ash Ketchum]]'s hat, the internet, among others. Most of these are from the late 90s or early 2000s. Given that a large amout of humour was based off this time period, and that many people worked on this game, and that HR was spread by word of mouth, leads us to conclude that there is a ''plausible'' chance of the refrence being from the character

Not sure if fan (re)translations count, but Breath of Fire 2 for SNES was recently... well, fan re-translated. And I've already counted no fewer than three possible H*R references...

1) When you're taking Bosch (Bow in the original) in the trashcan to Township, after popping out, he comments that he was "[[the chair|upgraded to 'stank']]".

2) A sign outside Wyndia beckons travellers to "[[Blubb-O's Commercial|come the heck down]]" to Whale Cape. Sounds innocent enough, but given it's related, in-game, to a *whale*... ehem... [[Drive-Thru Whale|Well...]]

3) In the Wise Tree's mind, an old man who tries to teleport you out and makes a mistake... after talking to him again, though, he says he'll teleport you out again... "[[KOT's VOQPCS!|for reals this time]]". That one's a bit dubious, but given the other two... it's probably intentional.

And... there're probably more. I'm not actually that far. The latter of them came from a friend of mine, who just flies through games. So... yeah. I can provide screenshots if anyone wants proof. Out of compulsion, I searched for "Homestar" on the Runescape wiki and came up with three, count 'em, THREE results. The first is for the non-player-character Gjalp, whose examine text says "Behold her beefy arms". Not that strong of a reference, but moivng on: the Strang Object, when lit, will say "A strange little parcel. On fire." The interjection of "On fire" seems to refer to caffine. The last, weakest one is your character will mispronoune the princess's name as Marzipan. The only thing that suggest that this refers to her and not the food and Chowder location is that this quest was made when Marzipan was considered to be Princess of Town. After searching for H*R keywords I ound nothing more. Seriously. I didn't make these this time. I really found them.
