STRONG BAD: {singing} A badaly-doo, it's time for email, bra-doop-da-dabadoo.
<blockquote class="lappy email">
<div>subject: ISP</div>
Dear Strong Bad, <br />
Since you answer emails, you must have some sort of <br />
internet, right? What kind of internet do you guys get in <br/>
Strong Badia? Who runs it? Is it expensive?<br />
Your bestest buddy in the whole wide world,<br />
Gary, UK
</blockquote>

{Strong Bad says "Not even close," very quickly after "Your bestest buddy in the whole wide world," and says "UK" as, "You 'kay?"}

STRONG BAD: {typing} Yeah, I'm fine, Gary. Calm down. Of course I've got the internet. How else could I download this awesome animated gif/gif of a cute breakdancing rodent? {Pronounces "gif/gif" as /gif/, /jif/}

{A progress bar pops up with a ding that says "11% Complete" with "Less than a fortnight remaining" below}

STRONG BAD: {typing} What??!! Eleven percent? I started downloading this thing like two days ago! Oh, that's IT!! Hold on to your fat, sweaty D&D playing headsets, tech support. 'Cuz Strong Bad's about to Do-Sum-Bow-Dis!

{The camera rotates around the Lappy to a rear view as Strong Bad picks up the telephone. There is a phone ringing sound and the screen is split by a phone cord with Homestar Runner in the office on the left and Strong Bad on the right. On Homestar's cubicle wall there is a Post-It Note that reads "Note to self: Chew more." Homestar wears a headset.}

HOMESTAR RUNNER: Thank you for calling the internet, may I have your account number or identity theft, please?

STRONG BAD: No, but you can have a heapin' helpin' of my unbridled rage!

HOMESTAR RUNNER: {reading slowly from sheets of paper} Ma'am, please calm down. Your CD tray is not a cup holder. {turns page} I cannot help you clear your browser cache. No, I'm not in India.

STRONG BAD: Shut up and listen. {bangs hand on keyboard, causing Homestar to drop the papers in surprise} My internet is crawling along like... something... funny... that crawls along.

HOMESTAR RUNNER: All right, I can help you with that. Please hold while I transfer you to someone who can help you with that.

STRONG BAD: {incredulous} What?!

HOMESTAR RUNNER: {singing} Doo doot-tsp. Do doo doot-tsp. Do doo doot-tsp.

{Cut to a long shot of the office as Homestar stands up. Homestar is the only visible tech representative.}

HOMESTAR RUNNER: {still singing} It's the hold music, do doot-tsp. Pa doo doot-tsp. Boodoo doo doot-tsp. {high pitched voice} Hold, music!

{Cut back to the splitscreen as Homestar sits down.}

HOMESTAR RUNNER: Thank you for holding. Your call is very unportant to us. The next available representative wi&mdash;okay, I'm back! Lemme just verify your address so I can send you my weight in free sign-up CDs.

STRONG BAD: Ugh, enough! {bangs hand against keyboard again} I'm marching my pasty white bwathom down there to talk to the man in charge!

{He slams the phone down and walks offscreen during Homestar's next line.}

HOMESTAR RUNNER: I'm so glad we could get that resolved. Is there anything else I could&mdash;

{Cut to Strong Bad marching across The Field at dusk as march music plays in the background. Strong Bad ends up at Bubs' Concession Stand, slightly out of breath from the marching.}

BUBS: {as the camera zooms in} Well if it isn't my lone internet customer. How's e-business?

{Cut to Strong Bad from inside the concession stand.}

STRONG BAD: Now listen here, old man Bubs! What's the big idea of throttling me down?!

{Cut to the front of Bubs}

BUBS: Throttling you down?! That's not one of the ninety-nine ways I rip you off!

{Cut to Strong Bad from inside the concession stand.}

STRONG BAD: Well, back in the day I used to connect at twelve-hundred baud, but ever since the merger, I'm lucky if I get twelve baud!

BUBS: Hmm...

{Cut back to Bubs.}

BUBS: Let's head down to the Datum Center and see what we can find.

STRONG BAD: Dat'um sounds good.

{Vertical scroll wipe to the garage which is currently housing several computers with Bubs' face on them and is sporting a sign labelled, "Datum Center". The march music returns briefly as Strong Bad again marches into scene.}

BUBS: {indicating the computers} So this is where the magic happens. I wonder where the trouble could be?

STRONG BAD: {sarcastically} Yeah, I wonder.

{Camera pulls back to reveal a computer with a garden hose sticking out of it and smoke issuing from the back}

STRONG BAD: It's probably not this computer with the garden hose coming out of it.

BUBS: Hey! Somebody's suckin' up all my bandwidth!

{Cut to a hole in the wall with the garden hose running through, then outside to Strong Mad sucking on the end of the hose. Strong Bad and Bubs walk up.}

STRONG BAD: Strong Mad!

{Startled, Strong Mad takes the hose out of his mouth. His mouth is now tiny.}

STRONG MAD: {in a high-pitched voice} <small>I'M A WEBSITE!</small>

{Cut to Strong Bad and Bubs as they both start laughing, with the off-screen Strong Mad soon joining in (in his regular voice). The laughter gets more and more hysterical until it reaches a psychotic peak. At that point we cut back to the Lappy. For a moment, the status bar reads "99%" and has "Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz..." written below where it previously read "Less than a fortnight remaining". With a ding, this is replaced by "100%" and "Already?!!" The Lappy's screen then shows an animated gif of a rat dancing to a computer tune similar to Homestar's hold music. The rat is then replaced by yellow text that says "NOT REALLY BREAK DANCING" and The Paper comes down.}

Easter Eggs
*When Homestar mentions the free sign-up CDs, click on the post-it note that reads "note to self: chew more" to see a picture of them.
*At the end of the email, click on the "O" in "Not Really Break Dancing" to see a collection of free sign-up CDs in the shape of Homestar running backed by music similar to the Theme Song Video. This particular musical arrangement was heard in Bug In Mouth Disease.

Fun Facts
checkstuffpage
Explanations
*D&D stands for Dungeons & Dragons, a popular pen and paper role-playing game that, like working in tech support, is often associated with "geek culture".
*Baud is a term used to describe the data transmission speed of modems, meaning "symbols per second". Note that a single symbol can convey more than one bit - therefore, 1200 baud is only 1200 bits per second under certain encoding schemes.
*Datum is the singular form of the word data.
*A fortnight is a period of two weeks. The word "fortnight" is most often used in the UK, which is where the emailer is from.
*Throttling means limiting the amount of data that can be sent through a network connection. An ISP might throttle a connection to a customer who uses a disproportionate amount of bandwidth, or throttle a specific network application (such as bittorrent or other popluar Peer-2-Peer software) to keep it from slowing down other applications.

Remarks
*It is unclear how Strong Bad is connected to the Internet - there does not appear to be a network cable plugged in to the back of the Lappy, and it is unlikely that the computer has a wireless connection (even though he was able to answer e-mails from under Homestar's kitchen table in part-time job). However, it is possible that Strong Bad's Internet connection works in a similar way to the Disconnected Telephones.
*The GIF file format does not support any form of sound on its own. The animation that Strong Bad downloaded is either not a true animated GIF, or it is embedded in a webpage that also contains embedded sound similar to a YTMND.
*When Homestar says the word "internet" after he first answers Strong Bad's call, he speaks without his trademark speech impediment. Same goes for "representative" while Strong Bad is on hold.
*Bubs refers to Strong Bad as his lone internet customer. It is unknown whether Free Country USA has other ISPs, but Strong Sad, The Cheat, and Homestar all seem to be connected to the internet too. However, The Cheat and Strong Sad would presumably use Strong Bad's internet connection since their computers are in the same residence, and it's possible Homestar gets his connection for free as an employment benefit. Pom Pom may or may not have subscribed to an ISP through his Pom Pilot, though he can clearly access the Internet.
*While the first time we saw the back of the Lappy was in the email part-time job, this is the first time we have seen a clear view of the various ports and inputs on the back of the computer.
*Although they are normally considered unimpressive, the gif does employ two common dance moves: The Cabbage Patch and Raise the Roof.
*At the end of the email, outside the frame on the left, just below The Paper, there is an invisible button. Clicking on it doesn't appear to do anything.
*The animated gif Strong Bad was downloading was a mere 10 seconds long. An animated GIF that long takes up less than 100 KB. Therefore, his download speed is about 0.0003 Kilobytes/second.
*1200 baud is half the speed of the slowest internet-enabled modem (2400 baud).
*Although Strong Bad has ostensibly subscribed to Bubs's ISP for some time, we have never previously seen Bubs greet him as "my lone internet customer" or inquire about his e-business.

Goofs
* The last time Homestar imitates the hi-hat sound in his hold music or when he's getting up from his chair, his mouth doesn't move.
* Bubs' mouth outline is just barely visible on the backside of his silhouette. Altering the brightness and contrast can make the error more apparent.

Inside References
*Strong Mad first unsuccessfully attempted to alter his voice in helium.
*Strong Bad's confusion over the pronunciation of the word "GIF" is a reference to website.
**Strong Bad was also first seen using an animated GIF involving a rodent in that email.
*The icon of a 5 1/4 inch floppy disc on the download-progress screen is another instance of Strong Bad using outdated technology.
*The tech support scene also has a Disconnected Telephone.

Real World References
* When Homestar says "No, I'm not in India," he is referring to the outsourcing of Western tech-support labor to countries with lower labor costs, such as India.
* The absurd number of "free sign-up CDs" is a reference to the ISP America Online, who is notorious for aggressively marketing its services with free-trial CDs through mass mailings, newspaper and magazine inserts, and in-store displays. The "merger" that Strong Bad mentions is a reference to the merger of America Online and Time Warner.
* Homestar's mention of a lady who used her CD-ROM drive as a cupholder is part of an urban legend about a notorious tech-support call.
* Strong Bad's "have a heapin' helpin' of my unbridled rage" is a reference to the similar phrase "have a heapin' helpin' of our hospitality," which appears in the closing credits music of The Beverly Hillbillies.
STRONG BAD: {singing} This week, I'm feeling my style! I've got confidence in my email! {loads the email}
Dear Strong Bad,<br />
If your head got disconnected and your head was rolling<br />
all over the place and you didn't even know were your<br />
body is or your head, what would you do?<br />
Jenny
</blockquote>

{Strong Bad struggles to read everything between "were" and the final "head". He also sings Jenny's name, as follows:}

STRONG BAD: {singing} Jennyyy... {high-pitched} Jenny! {speaking normally, typing} Um, was your head connected to your body when you wrote this email? I think I get the gist of it. {clears the screen} While my head and body are normally the bosomest of buddies, I suppose I could double my productivity if they were separated. Like, I could raise that ruckus I've been planning in two days instead of four! The plausibilities are endless!

{Cut to The Field, where Strong Bad's disembodied head is speaking to Homestar Runner. A sign reads "THE CAREER ADVISOR IS REAL IN" with "REAL" being a separate removable word.}

STRONG BAD: {voiceover} My head could be off giving folks career advice...

{The scene pans over and darkens, while an image of Strong Bad's headless body is throwing rocks from a box of "riot rocks" at The King of Town and The Poopsmith near the King's castle appears on the left. The Poopsmith is wearing whatsit-covered armor and holding a giant shield with the King's face on it, which is blocking the rocks. A bar separates the two different scenes.}

STRONG BAD: {voiceover} ...whilst my body is rioting against the municipality!

{The body's scene darkens while the head's scene brightens.}

STRONG BAD'S HEAD: Maybe this running business just isn't for you. Have you ever considered the making and selling of tiny breads?

HOMESTAR RUNNER: Homestar Bunmaker, eh? Me likey, me likey! Thanks, Eggman! {turns away, but then turns back} Oh, and... {throws coins} why don't you get yourself something to eat? Put some meat on them bones, girl!

{Homestar walks off. The body's screen vanishes while the head's pans over a ways to reveal that the ruckus the body is making is actually right next to his head. Strong Bad's head turns toward his body.}

STRONG BAD'S HEAD: That's some nice revolutin', there, body, but, uh, maybe we should spread out. Like, more.

{The body gives the head a thumbs-up. Cut to a closeup of Strong Bad's head wearing his Dangeresque sunglasses, on what appears to be a beach. The head is sitting on a picnic blanket and resting against a tree trunk, and a drink with three umbrellas is in front of him. A seagull can be heard in the background. The camera zooms out slowly.}

STRONG BAD'S HEAD: Ah, livin' the sleazy life!

{The camera cuts back to show that Strong Bad's head is actually alone on a small island.}

STRONG BAD'S HEAD: {turning back} Hey, cabana boy! My drink needs more umbrellas! What kind of deserted island is this, anyway?

{Cut to Club Technochocolate, where Strong Bad's body is dancing with Bubs.}

STRONG BAD: {voiceover} Meanwhile, my body could be off putting its considerably reduced weight on it down at the cloob!

BUBS: Dang, Strong Body! Without all that extra head ballast, your moves are twicely fresh! Twicely fresh!

{Cut to an image of Strong Bad's head rolling across The Field.}

STRONG BAD: {voiceover} My head would probably get pretty dizzy just rollin' around all the time. I might have to rig up some kind of repulsor lift!

{The camera cuts back, and the head begins to hover through some disc on the bottom of it.}

STRONG BAD: Naw, scratch that. I'm gonna need something with a little more... muscle.

{The disc disappears and is replaced by flaming jets on the top of its head.}

STRONG BAD'S HEAD: Oh, yeah! That's what I'm talkin' about! {leans back, as though revving up} Reer! Reeeeer! {starts zipping all over the place quickly} Rooow! Rooow! Rooo! Reer! {imitating brakes as it stops} Reeeeee! Whoa! This mess rules! I can finally win the million-yard dash! {zips forward again} Roooo...

{Cut to a finish line, which the head zips through quickly. Then cut to the other side, where Coach Z is holding a stopwatch.}

STRONG BAD'S HEAD: {imitating brakes} Reeeee! Oh, yes! I beat Homestar!

COACH Z: Sorry, Head Bad, but you was the only one competin' this year! Old 'Strammy's gone and quit the runnin' business!
Remarks
*Viewing the Flash file of this email on a web browser does now allow you to see outside of the frame by stretching the window.
*The Regenerator 4 Easter egg has an unexpected lowercase i in the same word as a capital I.
*In the DVD commentary for island, Matt Chapman said that he and Mike planned to revisit the island scene in a later toon.
*When Head Bad was revving after he received the exhaust pipes, smoke came out of the bottom of the head, indicating that he was performing a burnout. However, this is not possible because he had no tires and was floating in mid-air.
*When Head Bad finishes the 1 million yard dash, the running lanes are labeled 5, 6, 7. Lanes 1 through 4 are missing.
*One million yards is approximately 568 miles.
*"The Municipality" is a synonym of "town", as in the one over which the King rules.

Goofs
*When Strong Bad gets the 'muscle' engine growing out of his head, his shadow on the ground never changes to match the engine.
*When Head Bad finishes the 1 million yard dash, the finish line tape is connected to a pole. In another shot there, the pole is gone, and the tape just sits on the ground.
Inside References
*The concept of Head Bad and Strong Body was first used on Main Page 7.
*Coach Z calling Homestar "'Strammy" rings of his mispronunciation "Stramstar" in A Jorb Well Done.
*The exhaust pipes on Strong Bad's head are the same ones used on Bubs' pumpkin in Pumpkin Carve-nival.
*Homestar becoming a bunmaker could be related to his obsession with bread in origins.
*Bubs' dance in Club Technochocolate is the same one he did in geddup noise.
*While Strong Body is dancing in Club Technochocolate, he slides on the ground while kneeling, a move that was also performed by Strong Bad at the end of his rock opera.
*Strong Bad's "career advisor" sign is similar to the "Psychiatric help" sign used by Lucy van Pelt from the Peanuts comics. More specifically, it reads "The doctor is real in", with "real in" being the moveable part of the sign in A Charlie Brown Christmas.
*Repulsorlift is the technology used to create lift for airplanes and spacecraft in the Star Wars universe, most notably in the case of the various speeders, but also for craft such as the X-wing to make up for their lack of airfoils (despite having wings). It is supposedly based upon the artificial creation of "pockets" of gravity, which push against the gravity of bodies such as planets and moons or against solid objects such as walls or buildings.

Transcript
{We open to a shot of Strong Sad and Coach Z standing in The Field. A rope is dangling from above.}

COACH Z: Come on, Strong Sad, I knows you can do it! Just cram a little oom-pah down your pants, and you'll be up that rope in no times!

STRONG SAD: Look. I'm willing to ignore that "oom-pah down my pants" comment, {turns head towards the rope} but I'm more concerned with what that rope is attached to. {looks back at Coach Z}

COACH Z: Never you mind! Just get to climbin'!

STRONG SAD: Coach Z, ropes are for dopes.

COACH Z: What's that jargle? Scripture? You quotin' scripture?

STRONG SAD: No, it's a quote from Saddy Dumpington, the legendary folk hero I made up.

COACH Z: Sounds kinda like a terlet if you ask me.

{Cut to the cover of a book entitled "The Folky Tales - Saddy Dumpington", with a picture of Saddy on it.}

STRONG SAD: {voiceover} Hark to the Folky Tale of Saddy Dumpington, {The picture of Saddy on the cover turns around, and then turns back to his normal position. The cover slides of the screen, revealing a field with a young girl standing in it. Saddy Dumpington is walking over to her.} who traveled the lands, spreading good cheer and smiles to all who would listen.

SADDY DUMPINGTON: I just saw a baby chick choke on a worm! They both died! Isn't that great?

{The girl starts crying. We cut to another area of the field, with a treestump and squirrel in it.}

SADDY DUMPINGTON: Oh, I eat squirrels all the time! I made some soup out of the rest of your family just last night! Isn't that great?

{The squirrel starts crying. Cut to the field at sunset. Saddy is walking along.}

STRONG SAD: {voiceover} But he wasn't very good at spreading cheer or smiles. Just sadness and misery.

{Cut to a town.}

SADDY DUMPINGTON: {playing his washboard} Fear not, townsfolk! Famine is no doubt right 'round the corner! And gross bugs and rats sleep in our beds! Isn't that great?

{Cut to a two-shot of Saddy and the Mayor.}

STRONG SAD: {voiceover} So one day, the Mayor ordered&mdash;

COACH Z: {voiceover} Oh, I know this part! {The Mayor and Saddy look around in confusion} Then the mayor ordered the very talented Dancing Brothers {a paper falls from the top of the frame, reading "THE DANCING BROTHERS"} to perform at the annual "Rocks and Brown Grass" Festival! {music start playing, and the brothers start dancing}

SINGERS: Gonna have a good time tonight, gonnna have a good time tonight!

COACH Z: {voiceover} Look at 'em go!

COACH Z AND SINGERS: Gonna have a good time tonight, gonna have a real {Coach Z doesn't say "real"} good time toni&mdash; {the music cuts with a record scratch}

STRONG SAD: {voiceover} But the Dancing Brothers' shoes broke and they stopped dancing immediately. {the aforementioned occurs. A cane drags the brothers off-screen. Saddy and the Mayor fly back onto the screen} The Mayor then ordered Saddy Dumpington to leave town and never speak to its citizens again.

SADDY DUMPINGTON: But, Mr. Mayor! Sometimes, dogs get so hungry, they eat their own tails! Isn't that gr&mdash; {The mayor, now very angry, kicks Saddy Dumpington with such force that he flies out of the town.} &mdash;eeeeeeaaaaattt? {Saddy falls tenderly on a hill. We fade to a forest, Saddy Dumpington walking through it.}

STRONG SAD: {voiceover} So Saddy Dumpington walked through the forest, befriending all manner of critters 'long the way.

{Saddy picks up a cricket.}

SADDY DUMPINGTON: Cheer up, Mr. Cricket! You have no central nervous system! So it won't hurt when I yank your legs off! Isn't that great?

{Cut to another area of the woods. A fox is now present.}

SADDY DUMPINGTON: Hello, Fox Joe!

COACH Z: {voiceover} Have you met my good friends, The Dancing Brothers? {Saddy turns to look at him. The piece of paper falls from the top of the screen again, and The Dancing Brothers fall into the frame, dancing.} Glenn, Martbell, and the Killer Dynamo! {music begins playing.}

SINGERS: Gonna have a good time tonight! Gonna have a good time toni&mdash; {Again, the music scratches to a halt. The Dancing Brothers look dejected}

STRONG SAD: {voiceover} No! The Dancing Brothers are allergic to foxes, and they sneeze themselves into comas! {The Brothers start sneezing}

COACH Z: {voiceover} Oh, jeez! That's harsh!

{We cut to a pond. Saddy is nearby.}

STRONG SAD: {voiceover} Then one day, old Dumps here got a message from town! {an arrow with a message attached flies into a tree. Cut to a close-up of the letter. As the message is spoken, the words appear on the page.}

<blockquote style="width:300px">Saddy,<br>
We haven't stopped laughing<br>
since you left. No one can get any<br>
work done. We need you to come<br>
say something miserable and<br>
depressing so we can have our<br>
lives back.<br>

<div align="right">Talk atcha later,<br>The Townsfolk</div></blockquote>

SADDY DUMPINGTON: Something miserable and depressing? I've never thought of such a thing!

{An odd-looking purple snake with a tuft of hair on its head slithers towards Saddy.}

SADDY DUMPINGTON: Um... would weird snakes be considered depressing?

{cut to an evening shot of the field. Saddy is walking through it, now with an odd tail on his back.}

STRONG SAD: {voiceover} So he strolled into town, dressed as weird snake.

{We cut to the town. Saddy Dumpington is wearing a costume reminiscent of the weird snake he found by the pond. All the townsfolk are laughing.}

SADDY DUMPINGTON: I'm a weird, weird snake, everyone! My name is Weird Snake Joe! Isn't that miserable and depressing?

STRONG SAD: {voiceover} But instead of getting depressed, everyone laughed even harder until they passed out for the rest of their lives.

{We cut back to The Field, rope and Coach Z still present.}

STRONG SAD: And that brings me to this rope. I'm gonna pass out if I have to climb this rope.

COACH Z: Man, Strong Sad, that's a real load right there, a real load! That kind of thing might work on Coach X, or Coach Y, {loudly} but you're dealing with Coach Dang Z! Now get up that rope! {Strong Sad moans, and passes out.} Oh, jeez! I killed the Elephant Man! Oh, this is bad! This is rrl bad, man! What would the Dancin' Brothers do in a sit-she-ation like this? {starts dancing and singing}

Oh, gonna have a good time tonight!<br>
Gonna have a good time tonight! <br>
{dances off the screen.}<br>
Gonna have a good time tonight... <br>
Gonna have a good...<br>

{Strong Sad opens his eyes and turns his head towards the camera.}

STRONG SAD: Works every time.

SINGERS: {along with the music that starts playing} Gonna have a real good, good, good, good, good time tonight!

{Strong Sad pretends to go back into unconciousness. The color of everything darkens, and "end." appears, accompanied by Saddy Dumpington's head.}

Easter Eggs
* Click on the rope at the end to see what is really holding it up.

{Homsar is upside down at the top of the screen. He has the rope in his mouth.}

HOMSAR: {Muffled}

{His hat floats in a rectangle off his head and comes back}

* Click on Strong Sad's head to see a scene with Bubs at his Concession Stand.

BUBS: {on the phone} What? No! Of course you can't come here! You need to get out of town, man! Lay low for a while! Yeah, all right, all right, you is my dog too. Now get movin'!

COACH Z: {popping in from the top of the stand} Who was that?

BUBS: Aw, that was just Homestar. Now keep outta sight!

COACH Z: Sure! {hides again}
{We open to a shot of Strong Sad and Coach Z standing in The Field. A rope is dangling from above.}

COACH Z: Come on, Strong Sad, I knows you can do it! Just cram a little oom-pah down your pants, and you'll be up that rope in no times!

STRONG SAD: Look. I'm willing to ignore that "oom-pah down my pants" comment, {turns head towards the rope} but I'm more concerned with what that rope is attached to. {looks back at Coach Z}

{Cut to the cover of a book entitled "The Folky Tales - Saddy Dumpington", with a picture of Saddy on it.}

{The girl starts crying. We cut to another area of the field, with a treestump and squirrel in it.}

SADDY DUMPINGTON: Oh, I eat squirrels all the time! I made some soup out of the rest of your family just last night! Isn't that great?

{The squirrel starts crying. Cut to the field at sunset. Saddy is walking along.}

STRONG SAD: {voiceover} But he wasn't very good at spreading cheer or smiles. Just sadness and misery.

{Cut to a town.}

SADDY DUMPINGTON: {playing his washboard} Fear not, townsfolk! Famine is no doubt right 'round the corner! And gross bugs and rats sleep in our beds! Isn't that great?

{Cut to a two-shot of Saddy and the Mayor.}

STRONG SAD: {voiceover} So one day, the Mayor ordered&mdash;

COACH Z: {voiceover} Oh, I know this part! {The Mayor and Saddy look around in confusion} Then the mayor ordered the very talented Dancing Brothers {a paper falls from the top of the frame, reading "THE DANCING BROTHERS"} to perform at the annual "Rocks and Brown Grass" Festival! {music start playing, and the brothers start dancing}

SINGERS: Gonna have a good time tonight, gonnna have a good time tonight!

COACH Z: {voiceover} Look at 'em go!

COACH Z AND SINGERS: Gonna have a good time tonight, gonna have a real {Coach Z doesn't say "real"} good time toni&mdash; {the music cuts with a record scratch}

SADDY DUMPINGTON: But, Mr. Mayor! Sometimes, dogs get so hungry, they eat their own tails! Isn't that gr&mdash; {The mayor, now very angry, kicks Saddy Dumpington with such force that he flies out of the town.} &mdash;eeeeeeaaaaattt? {Saddy falls tenderly on a hill. We fade to a forest, Saddy Dumpington walking through it.}

STRONG SAD: {voiceover} So Saddy Dumpington walked through the forest, befriending all manner of critters 'long the way.

{Saddy picks up a cricket.}

SADDY DUMPINGTON: Cheer up, Mr. Cricket! You have no central nervous system! So it won't hurt when I yank your legs off! Isn't that great?

{Cut to another area of the woods. A fox is now present.}

SADDY DUMPINGTON: Hello, Fox Joe!

COACH Z: {voiceover} Have you met my good friends, The Dancing Brothers? {Saddy turns to look at him. The piece of paper falls from the top of the screen again, and The Dancing Brothers fall into the frame, dancing.} Glenn, Martbell, and the Killer Dynamo! {music begins playing.}

SINGERS: Gonna have a good time tonight! Gonna have a good time toni&mdash; {Again, the music scratches to a halt. The Dancing Brothers look dejected}

STRONG SAD: {voiceover} No! The Dancing Brothers are allergic to foxes, and they sneeze themselves into comas! {The Brothers start sneezing}

COACH Z: {voiceover} Oh, jeez! That's harsh!

{We cut to a pond. Saddy is nearby.}

STRONG SAD: {voiceover} Then one day, old Dumps here got a message from town! {an arrow with a message attached flies into a tree. Cut to a close-up of the letter. As the message is spoken, the words appear on the page.}

<blockquote style="width:300px">Saddy,<br>
We haven't stopped laughing<br>
since you left. No one can get any<br>
work done. We need you to come<br>
say something miserable and<br>
depressing so we can have our<br>
lives back.<br>

<div align="right">Talk atcha later,<br>The Townsfolk</div></blockquote>

SADDY DUMPINGTON: Something miserable and depressing? I've never thought of such a thing!

{An odd-looking purple snake with a tuft of hair on its head slithers towards Saddy.}

SADDY DUMPINGTON: Um... would weird snakes be considered depressing?

{cut to an evening shot of the field. Saddy is walking through it, now with an odd tail on his back.}

STRONG SAD: {voiceover} So he strolled into town, dressed as weird snake.

{We cut to the town. Strong Sad is wearing a costume reminiscant to the weird snake he found by the pond. All the townsfolk are laughing.}

{We cut back to The Field, rope and Coach Z still present.}

STRONG SAD: And that brings me to this rope. I'm gonna pass out if I have to climb this rope.

COACH Z: Man, Strong Sad, that's a real load right there, a real load! That kind of thing might work on Coach X, or Coach Y, {loudly} but you're dealing with Coach Dang Z! Now get up that rope! {Strong Sad moans, and passes out.} Oh, jeez! I killed the Elephant Man! Oh, this is bad! This is rrl bad, man! What would the Dancin' Brothers do in a sit-she-ation like this? {starts dancing and singing}

Oh, gonna have a good time tonight!<br>
Gonna have a good time tonight! <br>
{dances off the screen.}<br>
Gonna have a good time tonight... <br>
Gonna have a good...<br>

{Strong Sad opens his eyes and turns his head towards the camera.}

STRONG SAD: Works every time.

SINGERS: {along with the music that starts playing} Gonna have a real good, good, good, good, good time tonight!

{Strong Sad pretends to go back into unconciousness. The color of everything darkens, and "end." appears, accompanied by Saddy Dumpington's head.}

Easter Eggs
* Click on the rope at the end to see what is really holding it up.

{Homsar is upside down at the top of the screen. He has the rope in his mouth.}

HOMSAR: {Muffled}

{His hat floats in a rectangle off his head and comes back}

COACH Z: Sure! {hides again}

Inside References
* Saddy Dumpington was introduced in Strong Sad's Lament.
* Listening to Bubs's end of the phone converstation, Homestar apparently calls Bubs "his dog." He refers to other characters this way in Pumpkin Carve-nival and Biz Cas Fri 1.
*The sign saying "The Dancing Brothers" comes down the same way The Paper does.

Holidays are a big part of Free Country, USA, with holidays such as Mother's Day and Flag Day. Some of the more prevalent holidays are unlikely choices, such as April Fool's Day and Labor Day, also known as Labor Dabor. The most celebrated holidays however, are Halloween and Decemberween, the latter of which is a parody of Christmas, possibly created for viewers of other religions.

Holidays
New Year's Day (January 1st)
A day to set goals for the next year, with no intention whatsoever of following them.
Valentine's Day (Febuary 14th)
Blue hair, anyone? Stinkoman's always got fightings and challenges to keep him busy. Jump and shoot your way to all ends of Planet K. End Boss feature!! --Videlectrix description

Stinkoman 20X6 is a side-scrolling platformer game which stars Stinkoman. This game is based on the classic Capcom Mega Man series. It also parodies the poor "Japanese to English" translations (a.k.a. "Engrish") common to video games of that era, similar to those that appear on the current Games Menu.

The Brothers Chaps showed it off at their talk at NYU before it was released.

Easter Eggs
* Hover your mouse below "Controls" on the main menu to access the Instruction Booklet.
** When you click it, "loading manuél" appears briefly.
* Wait long enough at the title screen to see an intro cinematic.
* Stay still long enough and Stinkoman will yawn.
** On the Level 4 stages, after yawning Stinkoman will rest against his giant fist.
** On the Level 5 stages, 1-Up will fall asleep and blow a snot bubble.

Fun Facts
Trivia
* This is the first time we have seen Stinkoman's House, or any 20X6 character's house, for that matter.
* According to the Strong Bad Email time capsule, it would seem that Planet K is Earth in the future.
*This is also the first complete platform game that Videlectrix have ever made, as of course Jon Howe programmed it and composed the music, while the Chaps were simply the graphics designers. (Super Kingio Brothers was meant as a joke and was impossible to play past the first enemy)
* This is the first appearance of Strong Bad's green tongue since Super NES. In the "Game Over" screen, Stinkoman's green tongue is shown, although it's red or pink all other times you see it in the game.
**Just as well, 1-Up's "Game Over screen" has him standing with the caption "My tongue is green..."
**Stinkoman's green tongue may be due to the fact that his "stummy hurts".

*As 1-Up if you kick while holding the left or right arrow keys 1-Up will do a spinning kick.
*In the videlectrix catalogue, if you click Stinkoman 20X6, a screenshot of the game will appear. In the bottom left corner, it says "Level 1" and not "Level 1.1".

Remarks
* In the bottom right-hand corner of the PLAY GAME! screen is says "V4.0 EPISODES 1-6"
** It said "V3.0 EPISODES 1-5" until May 16, 2005, when the sixth level was added.
** It said "V2.0 EPISODES 1-4" until May 9, 2005, when the fifth level was added.
** It said "V1.X EPISODES 1-3" until April 26, 2005, when the fourth level was added.
* This is the second instance of sprites modeled after 8-bit Megaman, the first instance being with Coach Z in Hip Hop Dance.
* This game used to not feature the regular links at the bottom of the screen to move to other parts of the website. But when Level 4 was added the links were added also.
*Play the .swf version. When you die, right click and do the "play" function. The "More to Come!" screen with Stinkoman with the grey fist will pop up.
**On that screen, do like you did with the "Game Over" screen, and you'll start the level over with 0 lives. If you die, you gain one life, but die. Repeat the process for a lotta lives (or to start on THAT level, including bosses.)
*On Levels 4.1 and 4.2, Stinkoman can actually fall down in certain spots to join 1-Up, but you will eventually lose because there will be no one to press the buttons.
*On levels 4.1 and 4.2, you can't go too far from 1-Up, or he will die, even if he is not near any danger.
*In Episode 4, the Pink Cham Cham laser graphic is the same graphic used for the Saargtsson laser animation.
*1-Up jumps higher than Stinkoman.
* To get power crunches that are hiding behind enemies without having to kill the enemy, run into the enemy with health to spare. You will take damage, grab the crunch and will be invincible long enough to escape unharmed.
*The head of the silhouette at the end of Levels 5 and 6 appears to match the head of 20X6 Coach Z in the Games menu.
*Stinkoman "breaks the Fourth Wall" by saying (in Level 5) "No way! I helped you in Level 4!"
*1-Up is slower at climbing ladders than Stinkoman is, perhaps due to his lack of visible arms.
*The meteors in level 5 cause the game to lag for a split second when they crash. This is of course done on purpose to emulate how easy it is to put stress on older game systems.
*On the first cutscene of level 6, the game that stinkoman is playing is the 5th level of Stinkoman 20X6. You can hear the level 5 music, the dying sound, the game over music and stinkoman saying that not even a 200 year old could beat the game, pointing out that stinkoman is bad at video games.
*This is the first new game not to use some sort of scoring system.

Goofs
* The manual has Kolkaryu listed under level 2, but Kolkaryu already appears in level 1.
* The manual has Old Sage listed under level 2, but Old Sages already appear in level 1.
* Greggo will not stop or become indestructable unless you are parallel to him.
**Note: this was done on purpose to make it possible to destroy it. fire and then quickly jump or vice versa to kill it.
* Level 3 is called "Dumb Wall" on the level select screen, but it's called "Up 'n' Down" in the instruction manual.
* In Level 1 in the manual, the original version said "face treats" instead of "fave treats."
* In the manual, Level 3 is the only part to have its title constantly on the top of the page. All of the other Levels' titles disappear after the first page.
*In Episode 4, when Stinkoman is facing to the right, his giant fist powerup is a left hand but when he turns around the fingers are still facing the player so it turns into a right hand. This "sprite mirroring" is common in older games to conserve memory. A notable exception is Metroid, in which Samus is always right handed.
*When v4 (Level 6) was first put up, The Brothers Chaps forgot to update the Stinkomanual to include Level 6.

Glitches
* When the game was first released, you could skip (press space or click) the first part of the final movie (any part before the MORE LEVELS TO COME SCENE) to enter stage 3.4. It was the Stlunko arena without Stlunko: a slightly elevated platform above the ground with two Pooru-Poorus on either side. You could continue traveling rightwards into a barren land before reaching an endless cliff.
**This glitch is now fixed. However, if you play the swf you can still play 3.4
**This again happened in level 4 when it was first released. However, this glitch has been fixed as well.
***Also, if you die once on level 4.4 there will be no ground when you return.
* When you run right and jump, you will flip as if you were running left and jumping.
* If you fall long enough and don't touch anything, Stinkoman will stop doing his falling pose and act like he's standing and will even start to yawn. Such a long fall can be found in stage 2.2.
* You can float in mid-air on level 1.1 if you land on the right spot next to the gray pole close to the beginning, or if a Browntant hits you while you're falling against it.
**This is due to the fact that Stinkoman's feet touch the platform that is on the other side of the grey wall

* If you jump at the right time at the end of a level, you can do your victory pose in midair.
* If you die with only one life left after defeating a boss, the usual "die" sequence will happen, but then Stinkoman will do his victory dance with no ground beneath him and you will start the next stage with no lives, which will increase by one life and the "Game Over" screen will appear the next time he dies in the next stage.
* Sometimes you can start up a new game and it will be nothing but Stinkoman and the background. Since there's no ground, you can only fall and die. This may be linked to older versions of Flash.
** A possible reason that this happens is because earlier versions of Flash may not be able to read the levelData xml files. For more information on these files, please see the talk page.
*Not exactly a glitch, but when Stinkoman is about to yawn, his sprite character moves down one pixel.
*There is a spot in level 2.1 where you can fall between a refrigerator and an adjacent stove, and not be able to jump back up.

*In the beginning of level 2.2, there's a Terrell just behind a refrigerator. It seems that it's possible for the Terrell to get "stuck" just to the right of the fridge. It will continue to hop up and down (without moving horizontally at all), and Stinkoman can pass through the Terrell without becoming injured. It also becomes impossible to kill. I've only been able to reproduce this behavior once, on version 1.3.
*The Terrell on level 2.1 can get stuck too(the one above the second burner).
*In level 1.1, if you don't kill the Jaro by the first wall and instead just go past it and the wall under the second browntant, the Jaro will be jumping in mid-air.
*If you use a seek bar, then it is possible to access level Undefined.Undefined. This level is just a grey hole, which Stinkoman is doomed to fall down. Stinkoman's MANS are always either 8, or not there. Regardless, after he falls down once, the game over screen appears. The music is from the boss levels, and Stinkoman even shouts "Are you asking for a challenge?" as you enter. The items counter is also shown, as it is in level 3.1. It even has the "Try level" screen!

*In level 4.2, if a and s are pressed at the same time as you're falling into the level from the left, Stinkoman will float instead of walk.
*Sometimes if you die on the boss after the 2.2 or 1.2 level, you will restart at the boss but there's no ground.
** As mentioned above, this also seems to happen with slower, older computers.
*In level 4.2, if you approach a Pink Cham Cham from the left and see only the left side of it as it fires, when you approach towards the right to see the rest of it, it will only have fired the laser on the left side.
*While you fight the boss in Level 3.3, and you get hit and killed by him towards the right side(if you stand all the way on the right, he won't be able to hit you) the level will restart with no ground below you
**Also, when this occurs, and there is no ground, you can jump if you press the key at the very beginning of the level
*Any damage you took as Stinkoman in levels 3 and 4 will remain on 1-Up in level 5, even though they're not the same person.
*If you die at the beginning of 5.2 before the ship at the top flies by, it will fly by on the Keep Try screen.
**To try this out, get yourself down to one Energy before leaving 5.1
***This also happens on level 5.1.
*This has only happened on level 3. This only happens when Stinkoman has only one energy left and the boss has only one hit to die. If you strike the boss, killing it, but it strikes you at the same time, the die sequence will happen, but soon after the cut scene will play. The next level, you will start out with no energy and will have had one life go down.
**(Note:Since you have no energy, you will die on the next hit.)
*When 1-Up is on a ladder, if he kicks left or right, his leg bends backwards and his foot is upside-down.
*A jaro on one of the conveyor belts on level 5.1 can go behind the wall.

Inside References
* "Check out my new gameplay!" is a reference to Stinkoman's quote "Check out my new cosplay!" in 3 Times Halloween Funjob.
* The nuggets in Level 3.1 may be a reference to Strong Bad's Character Video.
* Level 3.2 reveals that Stinkoman hates apples, just as Strong Bad does in The House that Gave Sucky Treats
* The health-restoring pills are a reference to the capsule containing the "power crunch" from the Strong Bad Email time capsule.
**They are also a reference to the Scrolling Shooter Games Menu, where you can get similar capsules to change your ship.
* Grundy's illustration in the manual shows him running in a manner similar to Homestar Runner.
* Stlunko, the level 3 boss, bears a striking resemblance to the Visor Robot.
*The Rose Blake's description in the manual as a "'Lectric burner" is a reference to the email extra plug, where Strong Bad gets 'Lectric Boots.
*The line "blast em up Dan!" is an adaptation of "fry 'em up, Dan!" from TROGDOR!
*The sentence in the manual, "Falling from the skies and bove", is a reference to That Time of Year.
*The chickens in Level 2 blow up like the ducks in Duck Guardian after being hit with the hatch ray.
*1-Up Saying "I'm going this way!" is a reference to Meet Marshie.
*1 Up in the level 5 cut scene says "Mooooooon" just like a soy drunken Strong Bad did in personal favorites.
**The way "Now I'm on the Mooooooon!" is typed when 1-Up says it is perhaps a reference to Under Construction when Stinkoman says "Eat pudding with a spooooon!"
*When 1-Up defeats Nebulon, he says no one likes his style just like Strong Bad did in New Boots.
*1-up saying that he's just a kid, and maybe when he's older is a reference to japanese cartoon.
*The ship that flies by at the beginning of 5.1 and 5.2 is featured twice in "japanese cartoon" that was originally intended to be the 20X6 version of The Cheat.
*The background in Level 5 looks like the third background in the Games menu.
*The Saargtsson intro cinema contains yet another appearance of Stinkoman's signature attack, the Double Deuce, but this time uses a Single Deuce.
*"I deserve a break" is a reference to Under Construction.
**As well as no loafing.
*The pink cloud zone is a reference to "dreamail"

Real-World References
*There are many references to the Mega Man game series:
** The sprites used for Stinkoman are patterned after 8-bit Mega Man sprites, and the same applies to the enemy Poorbt and Astromund.
** In fact, the poses of the Videlectrix Mascot in the logo are taken directly from the NES Mega Man series.
** The sounds of the text appearing in the cinematics are also the same as in Mega Man.
***The chime noise for the main menu is taken from the first Mega Man X game.
** In Mega Man V, there is a chicken robot similar to the chickens encountered in level 2.
** When Stinkoman says that the large gray fist could be a new powerup and takes off with it, this is an obvious reference to Mega Man taking the power of defeated bosses.
** At the start of the first side-scrolling stage the little theme played is very similar to the old Mega Man starting theme. In fact, the whole soundtrack was probably meant to sound like Mega Man game music.
** Stinkoman being unable to clear the wall using his normal jump is also a joke from Mega Man.
** When all three characters flash onto the screen during the intro, that is also a Mega Man reference, where in one of the arcade games (namely Mega Man: The Power Battles) Mega Man, Proto Man, and Bass would flash onto the screen in a similar way.
**The spikes that can kill Stinkoman instantly (Old Sage) are a reference to similar spikes which were placed under moving platforms in Mega Man games and which would also kill Mega Man instantly.
** The dropping platforms are a reference to the original Mega Man, in which similar platforms were found in Guts Man's stage.
**In one portion of level 5.2, if you jump off of the top of a platform, you will see a planet that has a C-shaped portion on its left side. This portion bears a striking similarity to the stylized C in the title of "Chrono Trigger".
** Only three of Stinkoman's flying fists can be on the screen at the same time. In the Mega Man series, Mega Man's bullets also suffer from the same drawbacks. Even in Level 4, Stinkoman can only drop three clusters of rocks onscreen when pounding his giant fist.
***Early sprite-based video games suffered this fate as well. Limiting the number of sprites on screen prevented slow down.
** Greggos are similar to Mettaurs (also known as Metools, Mets, or Hard Hats), who were also invincible while ducking.
** Stinkoman fights like Mega Man X by shooting at enemies while 1-Up fights like Zero with acrobatic melee attacks.
* Stinkoman's becoming bored when idle is an old gag first found in Sonic the Hedgehog and emulated in countless other titles.
* Right after Tampo blows up in the cinematic, you can hear the same sound that is played in Metroid when Samus phases in.
* Stlunko, 404 is a reference to the 404 error that browsers give when a webpage cannot be found.
* Stlunko is a combination of Gohdan from Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker and Mazaal from Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap.
* Hold B is a reference to Super Mario Bros and a few other Nintendo games in which if you held down B, you would run faster or power up your weapon. In this game, holding S (which is like a B button) allows you to rapid fire.
* Stinkoman doing a forward flip may be a reference to the Metroid series, where Samus does very similar flips.
* The fade-in is a reference to NES games that had large images in the background fade in. Because the NES did not have many colors to choose from, there would be weird color glitches with some games when they'd have something fade in.
* The first boss, Tampo, is similiar to the final boss of Star Fox 64, which was the giant, floating brain of Andross, which had the same weak point (medulla).
* The phrase "Table the Label" is from a hilariously bad motivational video hosted by Mr. T called "Be Somebody or be Somebody's Fool!"
* The manual mentioning this game has no "weepy princess crap" is a reference to the Super Mario series, the Legend of Zelda series, and a few other games where you had to rescue a helpless princess.
** Likewise, Pan Pan being kidnapped references the countless games which featured a random character being kidnapped, such as in Donkey Kong Country 2 or 3.
* The bulky, muscular Stinkoman on the box art is likely a reference to the first and second Mega Man games, where the original American version of the game's box art had a big, muscular Mega Man that looked nothing like the character in the game.
**This problem wasn't exclusive to the Megaman series. Almost every game localized for the U.S had new box art made for it. This continued right up till the days of the SNES.
*The pose with the large fist is a direct reference to the old NES game Battletoads.
*There are a vast number of seemingly unexplainable appearances of letter P in NES-era games. Ranging from P-blocks, P-wings, P-gauges etc. in Super Mario Bros. 3, to the Arm Cannon/Mega Buster character designation in Mega Man 2. This may explain the collectible Ps in level 3.
**P most likely stands for "power" in these games.
*Jaro's explosion appears to be modeled after many of the character explosions in Rad Gravity for the NES.
* Lundsford is a reference to the symbol and/or mascot of Georgia Natural Gas. Billboards featuring this symbol and character can be seen in many places in the Atlanta area where The Brothers Chaps live.
*Saargtsson is most likely a reference to Moldorm from The Legend of Zelda video games, who was almost exactly the same in terms of appearance, and having a weakness in its tail.
**This is more accurately a combination of Moldorm and Hewdraw from Kid Icarus.
*1-Up's spin kick bears a resemblance to the Street Fighter move "Tatsumaki Senpuu Kyaku" (otherwise known as the Hurricane Kick), which Homestar uses in dangeresque 3.
*The description of the Bendini Sisters is a reference to Phil Collins's song "In the Air Tonight".
*Piedmont is a region in Northern Italy. The Eastern United States also has a Piedmont region, the area between the coastal plain and the Appalachian mountains. Atlanta, home of the Brothers Chaps, lies in the USA's Piedmont region.
*Level 4's concept is more than likely a reference to the Earthworm Jim level For Pete's Sake. In that level, you are charged with protecting a puppy who walks mindlessly forward like 1-Up, ignoring all major obstacles like enemies and pits.
*The beginning of level 5 has "Stinkoman HQ" at the beginning. This is a likely reference to the Mega Man X series, which had cutscenes shot at Maverick Hunters HQ. You can also see Stinkoman sitting for no reason and 1-Up standing for no reason - kind of like seeing Dr. Cain and Mega Man X.
*The fact that Gaspeau (red) and Frotzer (blue) are almost the same exact enemies may be a reference to the old Zelda games where an enemy could be red or blue and that the blue version of the enemy was always harder.
*The "pink cloud zone" in level 6 could be a reference to countless video games with cloud zones, but is most likely to Earthbound, where the the sixth Your Sanctuary location (in Dalaam) is called Pink Cloud.
*The Tornado Boss could be a reference to Super Mario Bros. 2 where the boss of the 4th level was a flame wearing sunglasses called "Fryguy", along with the fat mouse refering to the first boss, "Mouser". The bubble sprite used for its attack looks like the same sprite used for Wart's attack in Super Mario Bros. 2.
*Firey-Hot is a lot like the fire coming out of the cannons in the airship levels on Super Mario Bros. 3.
*Gaspeau's decription in the Stinkomanual "In like a lion and out like a Gaspeau" refers to the saying, "In like a lion, out like a lamb."
Strong Bad Email #110

Allison wonders what a Strong Bad television series would be like.

Cast (in order of appearance): Strong Bad, Rather Dashing, Kerrek, The Cheat, Homsar, The King of Town (Easter egg)
Places: Computer Room

Date: August 9, 2004

Transcript
{We see Strong Bad at the Compy 386 playing Peasant's Quest. He has a score of -38 and is in the area with Kerrek.}

STRONG BAD: Uh, let's see here... {typing} Make friends with Kerrek. {A message pops up. It reads "The Kerrek says he has enough friends already. And he doesn't like your short, short pants." His score also drops to -40.}

STRONG BAD: What the!? (presses enter} Um... {typing} Buy Kerrek a cold one. {Kerrek smashes him on the head. There is another message. It reads "The Kerrek is a Teetotaller and is offended by your offer. He pounds your head into the ground. You dead." His score also drops to -45.}

STRONG BAD: WHAT?! Oh man... Stupid game! {types "quit." a message says "You quitter."} I guess I should do the thing that I do. {pulls up the a> sign and types "strongbad_email.exe"} {Reading}

<pre>Coolest guy ever - - - Strong Bad,
I've been wondering if you ever
thought of making your own television
series? Kids everywhere would love
you, and your awesomeness.

Allison , NJ</pre>

{instead of saying "- - -", he mumbles "henna" three times. After reading his own name, he stops reading and says, "Whoa! Three hennas! Must be an important one!" Then he continues reading. After the comma, he says "unnecessary comma," and he pronounces "Allison" as "All is on"}

STRONG BAD: {typing} Television?!! Kids?!! Wait, do you people think I'm intended for children? Like, the littlest, tiniest babies? You know, that watch those shows on public television. I don't think I'm cut out for that sort of sugarjob.

{Cut to a piece of yellow paper used for teaching Kindergartners writing. Strong Bad is super-imposed on it with a bazooka gun, a monster with horns, a bunny with fangs, and a creature that resembles a man sticking its tongue out are drawn in crayon around him.}

STRONG BAD: {Smiling beatifically} Okay, kids, we're gonna play "Where's The Cheat?". Can you say, "a-The Cheat"?

KIDS: {half incoherent} The Cheat. {one child mumbles} Christopher Columbus.

STRONG BAD: Not good enough. F minus minus. {"F--" appears on the screen. A buzz sound is heard. Cut back to Strong Bad. Behind him are a tree and an open box. A toilet is in front of him.} All right, dumb children. {rubs his hands together} Find The Cheat! {The Cheat comes out from behind the box.}

KIDS: {say things like "He's over there," or "Right there." They continue saying this.}

STRONG BAD: Um, no, he's behind the box. {Turns around and points to The Cheat} No, uh, he's not even behind the box, he's barely obscured by the box. {turns around} Look, The Cheat is behind the freaking box!! {Kids stop talking and the music soundtrack screeches to a halt. Strong Bad comes closer to the viewer.} HE'S BEHIND THE BOX! I'LL KILL YOU!! I'LL KILL ALL YOUR DOGS!!(1) {Cut back to Strong Bad at the Compy 386}

<!-- It's dogs, not dolls. Please see discussion. -->
STRONG BAD: So, you can see how that might be less than pleasant. What with all the letter writing and the angry mothers and the subsequent stringing me up in town square for all to see. But you know who's a natural for that sorta thing? None other than America's favorite blue midget Homestar: Homsar!!

{Cut to an all-white scene. Homsar comes through a faraway door. He walks closer to the viewer and stops.}

KIDS: What do you know, Haddi-man?

MAN: {As the words are sung, they are shown one by one at the bottom of the viewer's screen. Homsar rides by in a boat with a flag. The background is green with flowers. His shirt says "if you lived here you'd be home"} We'll have an adventure, and several long trips. We'll make some new friends {Children appear behind Homsar} and maybe get a bite to eat!! {An orange with "abc" on it appears behind Homsar. A lot of Homsars now appear and disappear.} All 'cause we say, {A red Homsar with a flag appears. White liquid spills onto the screen. A logo that says "Whaddaya know, Haddi-man? with a Homsar on it appears.}

KIDS: What do you know, Haddi-man?

HOMSAR: DaAaAaA! I'm a trendy totebag!

{Cut to a tan scene. Homsar disappears and reappears in various places, making raspberry noises. When he stops, "g" appears in front of him.}

KIDS: A "G"!

HOMSAR: I'm not gonna lie to you, that's a healthy piece of real estate!

KIDS: A "G"!

{Cut to a purple background with a person playing a guitar on a chair wearing sneakers. As the words are sung, they appear on the screen.}

MAN: Stave it off, 1-2-3, and now you can count to three.

HOMSAR: That's a real popular song! Who wants to hear of it fifty times more?

KIDS: {shouts of approval}

{Cut to a purple place. Now we see two of the guitar-playing people, one superimposed over the other. Again, as the words are sung, they appear on the screen.}

MAN: Stave it off, 1-2-3, and now you can count to three.

{One of the guitarists is suddenly upside-down. The song repeats.}

MAN: Stave it off, 1-2-3, and now you can count to three.

{Cut back to the Compy.}

STRONG BAD: {typing} Good gravy. {Spoken: GOOD... GRAVY.} I've got two words for the children that are raised on that crap: HELD BACK. REPEATING THE THIRD GRADE. LOW STANDARDIZED TEST SCORES. I GUESS THIS WAS MORE THAN TWO WORDS. THE PAPER, PLEASE TAKE US HOME.

{The paper comes down}

Footnote
(1) There has been ensuing debate over whether Strong Bad says "dogs" or "dolls" at this point. A poll conducted about this seems to point toward "dogs" being most accepted as correct

Fun Facts
Remarks
*The commands Strong Bad uses in Peasant's Quest were not originally part of the game but were added after this email debuted. It is impossible to get a negative score in the real game, despite Strong Bad's miserable showing.
*When Strong Bad is playing Peasant's Quest, the contrast does not effect the game, only the screen behind it.
*The positions of the crayon graphics in the first scene are all rearranged when the scene zooms in on SB's face.
*The buzz in the background for the F-- is the same as when Strong Bad deletes an e-mail.

Goofs
*When Homsar talks after the G shows up (complete with various head movements and hat flyings, as per usual), his shadow stands still.
Glitches
*You can click on the "All Is On" Easter egg then click on the CD case then the Easter egg case to have the all is on song singing over itself.
Inside References
*Strong Bad refers to hosting a kids' show as a "sugarjob," echoing the email sugarbob.
*One of the crayon drawings in Strong Bad's show looks similar to Dijjery-Doo.
*The drawing in top right corner of Strong Bad's show is the gelatinous monster from kids' book.

Real-World References
*The Party Mix CD with the song "All Is On" is a parody of the various "Kidz Bop!" and other 'kid-safe' albums. The spine of the CD reads "Songs we found on the street".
*The fake show hosted by Strong Bad is a spoof of many children's shows; the kids heard shouting the answers to Strong Bad's questions are taken from the show Blue's Clues. Strong Bad's show is actually a curious reversal of Blue's Clues; in Blue's Clues the kids know all the answers but the host is completely clueless.
*The way Homsar enters and walks closer to the viewer is from the British kids' show "Bod". This is likely, as The Brothers Chaps have claimed that Bod was one of their influences.
*The opening theme/scene of Homsar's show has some similarities to the "It's a Small World" ride at Disney.
*The noise Homsar makes when he teleports around sound like the PBS show Boobah.
*The Guitar Playing Man is possibly a reference to folk singer James Taylor who made numerous appearances on childrens TV Program Sesame Street often singing educational songs. The Man is also similar in appearance to James Taylor, for example on the Gorilla album cover.

Fast Forward
*The "All is On" song from this email is used again in the easter egg for extra plug.
*"Stave it off, 1, 2, 3..." was used again in the email virus.
