Homestar Runner has to point and click his way around [[Free Country, USA]] to find the other characters so he can incorrectly guess their costumes. The original version can be played for free on the itch.io page, and the 2022 update with full voice acting can be downloaded for $2 on itch.io or Steam.

**In the options menu, one could adjust speech volume, music volume, and SFX volume, set the language, and toggle subtitles. Changing the speech volume or subtitles did nothing, and the language could only be set to "Original". The redundant options were later removed, leaving only music and SFX volume.
**Pausing the game using the "Pause" button would cause the inventory to disappear until the player re-entered the spooky woods.
**Taking the ladder off the side of the concession stand and putting it right back up would make it invisible.
*In the v2.0 update when giving Coach Z the latte, his second line is not voiced.

I'm not Marzipan.

My favorite [[Strong Bad Email|sbemails]] are [[caffeine]], [[funny]], [[virus]], [[helium]], and [[isp]].

My favorite [[Hremails]] are [[Hremail 7]] and [[Hremail 2000]]. I enjoyed the Hremails, as they were a nice break from the Strong Bad emails. I hope they make more of them.

Outside of email, I enjoy the [[Halloween]] [[toons]] the most. My favorite Halloween toon is [[The House that Gave Sucky Tricks]]. I also enjoyed [[Doomy Tales of the Macabre]] and [[Jibblies 2]] a lot.

The non-holiday toons I like the most are [[Tis True, Pom Pom, Tis True]], [[No Hands on Deck!]], [[79 Seconds Left]], [[Lookin at a Thing in a Bag]], and the [[Strong Bad is in Jail Cartoon]].

Strong Bad, as usual, breaks the fourth wall and is well aware that he's a licensed character that was exploited by Telltale Games, similar to how he was treated in [[Behind The Bad]].

The in-game models are the same as used in their respective games, so Strong Bad stands out against the more realistically-shaded characters (along with Tycho, who also gets a cel-shaded cartoon look).

[[Strong Sad]] and [[Marzipan]] were part of a murder play here in [[Make a Scene with Telltale at PAX 2010]]. Later, [[Strong Bad]] and [[Pom Pom]] played Texas Hold 'Em poker here in Poker Night at the Inventory. The building appears to be a warehouse with a metal door and a lit sign displaying the words "The Inventory". This metal door isn't used, as a hidden elevator in the floor goes down into the real club below. The club is shown to have secret rooms, as a bookcase is opened and closed to allow passage to an unknown area. The club was founded in 1919, in response to an early draft of the [[wikipedia:Eighteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution|prohibition amendment]], which would also have outlawed games. The club has remained secret ever since, just in case a similar law is ever created in the future.

In the introduction, while going down the elevator, Pom Pom can be seen at the table. Later, when the player is being shown to the table, Pom Pom can be seen getting up and bouncing away, possibly in disgust. :I think this (along with Tycho and Max) is a special case, since the characters in Poker Night at the Inventory actually communicate with Strong Bad in the game. Strong Bad has lines directly referring to The Heavy (and to Tycho, and to Max), and is voiced by Matt Chapman when doing so. It's not like the background characters or images that Telltale added in, Matt Chapman knew that Strong Bad was going to be communicating with these characters when he agreed to having Strong Bad in the game. So, that fact alone should make the Poker Night references count. And I think since these are special cases, the character interaction sections should be kept too. I don't get the reasoning behind not including Marty and Trixie from the game in this article. They're from the Back to the Future franchise, and they're appearances aren't just passing references (Marty's accused of murdering a H*R character and Trixie is mentioned in a conversation between Max, Strong Bad, Tycho, and the Heavy). The adventure game is an official continuation of the series taking place after the Back to the Future movies, which was approved by Universal and overseen by Back to the Future co-creator Bob Gale. I still think that the crossovers should be accepted, for the reasons I stated above. As for my comment about the additions being Brothers Chaps approved, maybe I can clarify. To me, this is like the Warner Brothers cartoon characters appearing with Disney cartoon characters and MGM cartoon characters at the end of Who Framed Roger Rabbit. Very few of them had speaking roles, but it would be worthwhile to add all of the appearances into a Warner Brothers animation wiki, despite the fact that Disney was the one who added all of them there, just because it was such a rare occurrence, and because it was allowed by Warner Brothers. Like the Brothers Chaps, they could have complained about the addition once they saw the test-print of the film. They could have said they don't want their characters in the final scene if they have any speaking roles, just like the Brothers Chaps could have said they didn't want their characters in any scene with a cameo from a Telltale game. But they didn't complain, so they gave their [[wikipedia:de-facto|de-facto]] approval after seeing the work-print. So, they should be allowed here, in my opinion. My favorite [[Strong Bad Email|sbemails]] are [[caffeine]], [[funny]], [[virus]], [[helium]], and [[isp]].

My favorite [[Hremails]] are [[Hremail 7]] and [[Hremail 2000]]. I enjoyed the Hremails, as they were a nice break from the Strong Bad emails. I hope they make more of them.

Outside of email, I enjoy the [[Halloween]] [[toons]] the most. My favorite Halloween toon is [[Doomy Tales of the Macabre]]. I also enjoyed [[Jibblies 2]] a lot.

I'm noticing a pattern with these Telltale-related articles such as Monkey Island, Graham Annable, and Wallace and Gromit. There is, at most, one reference on the actual site, and then the rest being made up of references in Poker Night, Behind the Bad, PAX, etc.. Being a fan of all these series, I certainly like the idea of them having articles here, but it seems like all the references aren't so much references from the Chaps, but rather nods from Telltale to their other games. I mean, do we really need a new article for each time Telltale references another game of theirs? ::I don't see why Poker Night at the Inventory shouldn't be considered part of the body of work. Strong Bad's dialog was co-written by the Brothers Chaps and he was voiced by Matt Chapman, so therefore the interaction with Strong Bad by the other characters would bring them into the Homestar Runner universe by association since Strong Bad's interaction with these characters are officially approved. Also, because all H*R related games and toons by Telltale Games are officially approved by the Brothers Chaps (even the Make a Scene at PAX toons), I definitely think that any reference made in those games and toons should be as valid as any other official H*R game or toon. Think of it this way: TBC didn't create these works, Telltale did. Mike and Matt didn't have the licenses for those characters, Telltale did. The Brothers Chaps alone did not decide what and what not to put in them, it was a collaborative process by the license holders. Telltale is an official licensee of H*R characters, and every product they have with H*R characters have to be approved by the Brothers Chaps, so since everything is Chaps approved, it should be all free to reference in my opinion. In addition, Marty in that instance you mentioned was the suspect in the murder of a H*R character (as was everyone in The Inventory in that toon), so I'd count that as interaction even though he didn't have any lines with any H*R characters. [[Wikipedia:Sam & Max|'''Sam and Max''']] is a long-running series about the adventures of Sam, a six-foot revolver wielding dog, and Max, a hyperkinetic-rabbity-thing. Together they form the Freelance Police and take on many strange cases involving, amoungst other things, washed-up child stars, the mafia, volcano gods, talking space gorrilas and Lovecraftian elder gods. They have been referenced in the Homestar Runner series a few times, mostly through [[Telltale Games]]' involvement in [[Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People]].

Sam first interacted with Homestar Runner characters in [[Make a Scene With Telltale at PAX 2010]] when he question Marzipan about a murder. Mr. Featherly, a chicken who was famous as an actor on a television show in Sam & Max Save the World, also had a speaking role, and Strong Bad and several of Telltale's Sam & Max characters had non-speaking roles. However, in that cartoon the characters had dialog and voices written and performed by fans at the Penny Arcade Expo. The first instance of characters from both universes interacting together with their official voices and with dialog written by the license holders came in [[Poker Night at the Inventory]] when Max and Strong Bad were both participants in a poker tournament at an exclusive club called [[The Inventory]] where video game characters relax on their days off.

==Max's Relationship with Strong Bad==

Due to Max's cheery personality, he seems to like all of the players at The Inventory's poker match, including Strong Bad. However, when he finds out Strong Bad "dabbles in nefarious activities", he's happy because he wants Sam and himself to come after Strong Bad and rough him up. Strong Bad doesn't trust Max at cards because he can pull his gun seemingly out of nowhere, and Strong Bad thinks Max can use that ability to hide "a never ending supply of aces". However, he likes Max because he feels that they both were misrepresented in Telltale's games about their lives. Max only has short term memory, so at times he doesn't realize he was part of a video game, while other times he does. His liking of Max doesn't stop him from making fun of him. At one point Strong Bad compares him to a [[pokemon]] and thinks it would be funny to see a prepubescent kid stick him inside of a baseball.

On January 19, 2011, Strong Bad participated in a performance by [[Wikipedia:The Aquabats|The Aquabats]], singing "Pink Pants!" from their new album, ''Hi-Five Soup!'', which was released a day earlier. The announcement was made December 1, 2010, and the performance was in [[Atlanta]].

Strong Bad had made an appearance on the album itself, where he and Homestar provided vocals on "Pink Pants!".

These items will then become an unlockable item in ''Team Fortress 2'' if you knock them out during the game. The game takes place in a [[Wikipedia:Speakeasy|speakeasy]], with the premise that the characters are spending their off hours playing poker. Between playing hands, the characters will have a very deep dialogue system, and each character has their own respective thoughts on the others. It is said that Strong Bad and Tycho hate each other, but Tycho and Max get along really well. Heavy is wary of Tycho, loves Max, and thinks Strong Bad is a tiny Heavy. Strong Bad realizes he's a licensed character that was exploited by Telltale Games, similar to how he was treated in [[Behind The Bad]].

The in-game models are the same as used in their respective games, so Strong Bad stands out against the more realistically shaded characters (along with Tycho, who also gets a cel-shaded cartoon look).

[[Strong Sad]] and [[Marzipan]] were part of a murder play here in [[Make a Scene with Telltale at PAX 2010]]. Later, [[Strong Bad]] and [[Pom Pom]] played Texas Hold 'Em poker here in Poker Night at the Inventory. The building appears to be a warehouse with a metal door and a lit sign displaying the words "The Inventory". This metal door isn't used, as a hidden elevator in the floor goes down into the real club below. The club is shown to have secret rooms, as a bookcase is opened and closed to allow passage to an unknown area. The club was founded in 1919, in response to an early draft of the [[wikipedia:Eighteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution|prohibition amendment]], which would also have outlawed games. The club has remained secret ever since, just in case a similar law is ever created in the future.

In the introduction, while going down the elevator you can see Pom Pom at the table. Later, when you're being shown to the table, you can see Pom Pom get up and bounce away, possibly in disgust. At one of the tables at the bar you can also briefly see a Maps & Minions game board from [[Strongbadia the Free]].

I'm noticing a pattern with these Telltale-related articles such as Monkey Island, Graham Annable, and Wallace and Gromit. There is, at most, one reference on the actual site, and then the rest being made up of references in Poker Night, Behind the Bad, PAX, etc.. Being a fan of all these series, I certainly like the idea of them having articles here, but it seems like all the references aren't so much references from the Chaps, but rather nods from Telltale to their other games. I mean, do we really need a new article for each time Telltale references another game of theirs? ::I don't see why Poker Night at the Inventory shouldn't be considered part of the body of work. Strong Bad's dialog was co-written by the Brothers Chaps and he was voiced by Matt Chapman, so therefore the interaction with Strong Bad by the other characters would bring them into the Homestar Runner universe by association since Strong Bad's interaction with these characters are officially approved. Also, because all H*R related games and toons by Telltale Games are officially approved by the Brothers Chaps (even the Make a Scene at PAX toons), I definitely think that any reference made in those games and toons should be as valid as any other official H*R game or toon.
