*The beeps in the filmstrip are common when a presenter is given a set of slides and a tape - so the presenter knows when to change the slides. Also, some combined tape player/projector models advance automatically upon detecting the beep.
*The "vague understanding of the theory of relativity" is a major misunderstanding of [[Wikipedia:Special relativity|Special relativity]], in particular the [[Wikipedia:twins paradox|twins paradox]].
*A [[Wikipedia:Sonar|Sonar]] ping is a method used to determine distance from one object to another, like two submarines. One will send out a low level "ping" that travels at a set speed through water, "bounces" off the other submarine, and is re-recieved by the first's sonar system. The amount of time this takes determines the distance. There is no sonar pong, at least in relevance to sound effects, as the "ping" sounds exactly like the pong.

In [[Teen Girl Squad Issue 1|Issue 1]] the birds are shot to pieces by a crudely drawn [[Minor Teen Girl Squad Characters#A Helicopter|helicopter]]. They fare no better in [[Teen Girl Squad Issue 2|Issue 2]] where they are munched by a [[Minor Teen Girl Squad Characters#Cloud Monster|passing cloud]]. In [[Teen Girl Squad Issue 3|Issue 3]], the sun becomes a buzz saw and the feathers fly. Their next appearance is in [[Teen Girl Squad Issue 5|Issue 5]], where a mailbox devours a postcard with a picture of the birds on the back, and [[What's Her Face]] nearly gets her hand bitten off. Perhaps [[Strong Bad]] has something against birds?
