*The flashing bulb component in the broken Tandy at the end (see "Easter Eggs") is probably a cathode-ray tube, as found in old-timey televisions and some computers. That tube breaking, as it has, would cause poisionous particles to be released into the air.

*When you pause during the explosion, you can see that the "explosion" is just glass shards overlapped on the screen.
*When Strong Bad is talking to Strong Sad, his mouth seems unusually small.
*The spinning fan inside the exploded Tandy at the end doesn't seem to be attached to anything else, and is just floating in midair.
*Strong Bad may hate emails signed with [[crap]] because this one, that made the Tandy explode was signed with crap.

*As well, the contrast buttons, the back link and a glass shard from the Tandy's monitor remain on top of the explosion.
*When the Tandy explodes, Strong Bad's reflection is incorrect. It is located at the top of the computer screen, at the same angle the computer is.
*When Strong Bad is flying through the air and crashes into the wall, where Strong Sad's room's wall meets the floor, the bottom-left corner of it protrudes more than it should.
*As Strong Bad is flying, the last thing you see in the background is a door. When he is in Strong Sad's room, the last thing before the wall is now a window.
*As of [[sisters]], the Tandy's exploded screen is shown as if it was never shattered, but instead it is shown as slightly cracked.
*The upper gear's holder is not at the side of the Tandy, and nothing is holding up the fan.

'''Strong Sad''' is the youngest of [[The Brothers Strong|the Brothers Strong]]. He stands somewhere between [[Strong Bad]] and [[Strong Mad]] in height, and he has large, elephant-like feet he calls "[[Soolnds|soolnds]]". (In the past, poachers have apparently offered large sums of money to obtain Strong Sad's feet.) His body is round and is two shades of grey — a lighter grey from the waist up, and darker grey from the waist down. His head is white and has an odd lump on the top (a trait shared by [[Mr. Bland]]). He is usually very calm and soft-spoken, although he has become [[Hyperactive Strong Sad|hyperactive]] (at least once, under the influence of [[caffeine]]), and he has also temporarily (and involuntarily) become a [[radio|radio DJ]] once or twice. The words "Covered Bridges" seem to be able to put him in some type of trance, as seen in [[Fall Float Parade]].

Strong Sad's main defining characteristic is his chronic depression — his high level of intelligence and creativity are almost always overshadowed by it. His many interests include listening, books, listening to books, calligraphy, safety, being alone, arts, crafts, and arts [[b/w]] crafts. He has outstanding handwriting and often uses it to write poetry, which he then recites at his own "poetry slams". Strong Sad is seen using both his right and left hands to write and play the guitar, implying that he is [[Left Handedness|ambidextrous]]. Strong Sad also enjoys playing board games (especially with other board games), and he seems to enjoy going to science-fiction and fantasy conventions, as seen in [[different town]] and [[TrogdorCon '97]]. He has an [[Strong Sad's iPod|iPod]], and he occasionally updates his [[Strong Sad's Lament|blog]]. Strong Sad's highly philosophical view on life has creeped out other characters more than once, most notably [[Strong Bad]] and [[Marzipan]]. Strong Sad seems to have a crush on Marzipan; he has occasionally lied to Marzipan just so he could spend time with her, as in [[Marzipan's Answering Machine Version 10.2]].

Strong Sad has a sort of "love-hate" relationship with his brother Strong Bad. It has been suggested that the two [[The Secrets That I Keep|got along quite well]] when they were younger, but nowadays, Strong Sad suffers almost constant [[Strong Bad Hurting Strong Sad|abuse]] from Strong Bad. In particular, Strong Bad has quite a list of [[Nicknames#Strong Sad|names]] he's used to insult Strong Sad. Strong Sad has also been the subject of numerous practical jokes by Strong Bad, Strong Mad and [[The Cheat]], from being drilled a new navel by [[Lil' Strong Bad]] to being used as a [[stunt double]] for the [[Dangeresque]] movies. In turn, Strong Sad often has a very low opinion of his brother and considers him to be a clueless weirdo, though nobody really seems to care most of the time what he thinks. Despite all of this, he seems to retain some degree of brotherly love toward his siblings: When the [[gimmicks|Tandy 400 exploded]], Strong Sad asked Strong Bad if he was all right. Also, while Strong Bad was [[Strong Bad is in Jail Cartoon|in jail]], Strong Sad wrote him a letter wishing him well, and adding that his brother's absence caused him to feel far happier with himself than usual. He was also eager to help Strong Bad with his 150th e-mail in [[Sbemail 150?!?]].

Strong Sad's troubled relationship with Strong Bad seems to extend to the rest of the community in [[Free Country, USA]] as well. He is generally reclusive and has only a few friends — his best friend appears to be [[Homsar]], he seems to have a crush on Marzipan, and he plays Jenga with The Cheat on Tuesdays. Early in the site's history, Homestar Runner even counted Strong Sad as a friend, and still shows some signs of friendship towards him. He is often overlooked and ignored when he [[In Search of the Yello Dello New Version|has an idea]], and he is sometimes even [[Death#Strong Sad's Imagined Death|believed to be dead]]. Despite all of this, he serves as a loyal officer in the [[Homestarmy]], and a [[impression|Strong Sad Lookalike Contest]] is held in his honor/insult each year.

* [[Matt Chapman]] has said that Strong Sad is the most difficult character to voice due to how delicate he sounds. If Matt strains his voice too much before recording, he actually can't do Strong Sad at all (which led to Mike substituting for Strong Sad's one word in [[cheat talk]]).
* Strong Sad [[Fourth Wall Breaks|breaks the fourth wall]] by saying he doesn't want to do a "character page", and by running his finger up and down the left border of the screen. The actual wall of his room is much further off to the side, as evidenced by the poster in the background.

* If you die, when you're asked "Play Again? [Y/N]", pressing N doesn't do anything.
* Right-click and save as on the Flash file. Once you have started the game, type something in. Do not erase it. Use the control options to rewind the game. Start it again. Once you are in the game again, type something else. There will be double the characters in whatever you type. (For example, typing in "Hello" would come out "HHeelllloo".) You can repeat this process as much as you like and the numbers of characters will grow one per each time.

== Walkthrough ==

At the beginning, "hold breath" (or "nose") and "get tinkle" (or "metal"), which is a key in the chamber pot. Don't forget to BREATHE. Type "breathe" or "release nose" or "unplug nose" or "let go nose" or "smell".

"get hay", which turns out to be moldy bread.

"open door" and go "south".

"look at david bowie" (optional).

"use key" to unlock the drawer.

"get map". "look map" to get the maze directions. It disintegrates, so you'll have to write them down.

Go "north" and "talk magistrate".

Go "north", where you'll find a rat with a nametag. "look at nametag" (his name is Percy) and "talk to percy". He'll offer you the plague.

Go "north", and you'll get the plague (this can't be avoided).

"get mop", as you will need it to fight off monsters.

Now follow the directions from the map (see above). If you'd like, you can stop to "mop" when you see stains (there's a stain in every room of the maze). This is completely optional, and you only earn "experience points" from doing this (which do not add to your point total.)

To kill the monsters use the strike with the same letter as the beginning of the monster's name (eg. "middlin" for Mongrel, "high" for Hongrel, and "low" for Longrel).

When you get to the kitchen, go "eastward" (you can't just type "east" or "e" here) to the infirmary.

"talk to doctor". Say "no" when he asks if you can wait. He'll saw off your plague, give you a sucker, and send you back to the kitchen. Do not talk to the healer; the doctor and the healer are separate entities.

"look at placard".

"get picture".

"talk to chef". He is really a Dongrel. "use picture" or "use sucker" to make Dongrel drop your mop, then "get mop" and "use mop" (if you never "talk to chef", you can skip straight to "use mop" and avoid losing 1 life).

"take emerald". Percy will show up. "take off loincloth" to kill him.

Note: On some browsers it is impossible to get the emerald, things will happen too fast.

== Walkthrough ==

At the beginning, "hold breath" (or "nose") and "get tinkle" (or "metal"), which is a key in the chamber pot. Don't forget to BREATHE. Type "breathe" or "release nose" or "unplug nose" or "let go nose" or "smell".

"get hay", which turns out to be moldy bread.

"open door" and go "south".

"look at david bowie" (optional).

"use key" to unlock the drawer.

"get map". "look map" to get the maze directions. It disintegrates, so you'll have to write them down.

Go "north" and "talk magistrate".

Go "north", where you'll find a rat with a nametag. "look at nametag" (his name is Percy) and "talk to percy". He'll offer you the plague.

Go "north", and you'll get the plague (this can't be avoided).

"get mop", as you will need it to fight off monsters.

Now follow the directions from the map (see above). If you'd like, you can stop to "mop" when you see stains (there's a stain in every room of the maze). This is completely optional, and you only earn "experience points" from doing this (which do not add to your point total.)

To kill the monsters use the strike with the same letter as the beginning of the monster's name (eg. "middlin" for Mongrel, "high" for Hongrel, and "low" for Longrel).

When you get to the kitchen, go "eastward" (you can't just type "east" or "e" here) to the infirmary.

"talk to doctor". Say "no" when he asks if you can wait. He'll saw off your plague, give you a sucker, and send you back to the kitchen. Do not talk to the healer; the doctor and the healer are separate entities.

"look at placard".

"get picture".

"talk to chef". He is really a Dongrel. "use picture" or "use sucker" to make Dongrel drop your mop, then "get mop" and "use mop" (if you never "talk to chef", you can skip straight to "use mop" and avoid losing 1 life).

"take emerald". Percy will show up. "take off loincloth" to kill him.

Note: On some browsers it is impossible to get the emerald, things will happen too fast.

== Homestar's Shirt ==

His shirt seems to most resemble a red skirt with a white star on it. The star can be removed, but Homestar wears it as a mark of pride. Other than his propeller cap, it appears to be his only piece of clothing, as his questionable [[Homestar's Pants|pants]] are a mystery. It is said in [[long pants]] that he doesn't have shoes but has blue soles glued to the bottom of his feet. He wore a gray version of his shirt (still with a star) in [[impression]] while doing a bad imitation of [[Strong Sad]].

In the original script for [[flashback]], Strong Bad wore a similar shirt until Marzipan gave one to Homestar (to replace his Duckie Shirt). After this point, Strong Bad would have ripped off his shirt, explaining why he never wore one to this day.

Homestar's relationship with Marzipan seems tenuous at best and has deteriorated as the episodes progress. Though Homestar insults her, often without meaning it, and Marzipan breaks up with him frequently, they seem to patch things up in between. Homestar's idiocy seems to be charmed as well as charming, as evidenced by his lucky gift of wire cutters in [[Homestar Presents: Presents]]. It is unclear how their relationship started, but they do seem to care about each other, if only a little bit.

Homestar even appears to miss and need Marzipan's badgering every once in a while. When she was out of town in [[Happy Fireworks|July of 2005]], he carried around a [[Cardboard Marzipan|cardboard cutout]] version of her and provided a voice for it. The cardboard version still made similar comments about violence and Homestar's poor grammar that the actual Marzipan would have, providing Homestar the presumably cathartic opportunity to say "Shut up, Marzipan." Even Homestar's relationship with the "Cardboard Marzi" was tenuous, though, as he voiced her flirting with other men (and The Cheat).

*There is also a theory that Homestar actually has 2 pairs of eyes, one on each side. When you look at him from the sides you see one pair of eyes while the other pair is on the other side of his head, and when you see the front of him, the eyes you see are the front eyes of both of the pairs of eyes

== Homestar's Shirt ==

His shirt seems to most resemble a red skirt with a white star on it. The star can be removed, but Homestar wears it as a mark of pride. Other than his propeller cap, it appears to be his only piece of clothing, as his questionable [[Homestar's Pants|pants]] are a mystery. It is said in [[long pants]] that he doesn't have shoes but has blue soles glued to the bottom of his feet. He wore a gray version of his shirt (still with a star) in [[impression]] while doing a bad imitation of [[Strong Sad]].

In the original script for [[flashback]], Strong Bad wore a similar shirt until Marzipan gave one to Homestar (to replace his Duckie Shirt). After this point, Strong Bad would have ripped off his shirt, explaining why he never wore one to this day.

Homestar's relationship with Marzipan seems tenuous at best and has deteriorated as the episodes progress. Though Homestar insults her, often without meaning it, and Marzipan breaks up with him frequently, they seem to patch things up in between. Homestar's idiocy seems to be charmed as well as charming, as evidenced by his lucky gift of wire cutters in [[Homestar Presents: Presents]]. It is unclear how their relationship started, but they do seem to care about each other, if only a little bit.

Homestar even appears to miss and need Marzipan's badgering every once in a while. When she was out of town in [[Happy Fireworks|July of 2005]], he carried around a [[Cardboard Marzipan|cardboard cutout]] version of her and provided a voice for it. The cardboard version still made similar comments about violence and Homestar's poor grammar that the actual Marzipan would have, providing Homestar the presumably cathartic opportunity to say "Shut up, Marzipan." Even Homestar's relationship with the "Cardboard Marzi" was tenuous, though, as he voiced her flirting with other men (and The Cheat).
