Homestar frequently insults Marzipan (although he may not realize that he is doing so), and Marzipan occasionally treats Homestar with contempt. Occasionally, they even break up or mention breaking up. Nevertheless, they always end up together again. Marzipan, at least, regards their relationship as [[Wikipedia:open relationship|open]], and as such has gone on dates with [[The Cheat]] and [[Bubs]].
