My younger sister (Carolyn) discovered he [[Homestar Runner (body of work)|Homestar Runner]] website in 2003, and she was the first one in my family to find it. Then, I liked that site so much that I wanted to go on it, too. I even know all the main characters: [[Homestar Runner]], [[Strong Bad]], [[The Cheat]], [[Marzipan]], [[Strong Sad]], [[The King of Town]], [[Strong Mad]], [[The Poopsmith]], [[Pom Pom]], [[Coach Z]], [[Bubs]], and the surreal [[Homsar]]. I know many other characters, too.

Speaking of [[Senor Cardgage]], I had no idea who he was when the e-mail "[[kind of cool]]" debuted. Then, when I saw the later short "[[Senor Mortgage]]", I realized that he was the guy Strong Bad described in "kind of cool". Strong Sad clearly says, "Uh, excardon me, but none of that stuff is cool, Strong Bad. You basically described that creep Señor Cardgage that lived down the street from us when we were little." I didn't quite get that, though. I finally did get it after watching the short. No one really listens to Strong Sad anyway, and previously, Strong Bad referred to that character as "Creepy Comb-Over Story Strong Bad".

Anyway, my favorite character is Strong Bad. Senor Cardgage is cool, too (creepy, but cool). My favorite email is "[[death metal]]".

The Creepy Comb-Over Strong Bad page now redirects to [[Senor Cardgage]]. That probably happened on July 15, 2005. Some changes have been made to this page, too. Previously, the cast list said: [[Strong Bad]], [[Creepy Comb-Over Strong Bad]], [[Homestar Runner]], [[Pom Pom]], [[Bubs]], [[Strong Mad]], [[Strong Sad]], [[Senor Cardgage]] (Easter egg). [[Creepy Comb-Over Strong Bad]] was changed to [[Senor Cardgage]], and "[[Senor Cardgage]] (Easter egg)" got removed. I'll have to open this old topic again... I agree with KvB and Jay that Creepy Comb-over Strong Bad and Senor Cardgage are separate characters. But I also have to disagree with Jay about who is in the easter egg. Here, KvB is right: the clickable text in the email refers to Comb-over SB, not Senor Cardgage. Strong Bad is [[Twin Characters|meeting himself]], something that's not too uncommon in the Homestar universe. Well, yes, he does say "beer" for the first time in an email, but he's not even referring to beer, so the bit about the Cold Ones is almost a stretch. To be fair, they're talking about potbellies, which TBC could have just as easily decided to say. I think they've been pretty good so far about not putting in alcohol or drug references. Either make a mention of the non-reference to beer or take it out altogether...

I think "neuroticism" in this sentence means "a mental or personality disturbance not attributable to any neurological or organic dysfunction." Strong Sad is obviously disturbed when Strong Bad describes his tall, alternate, dumpy self, who turns out to be Senor Cardgage, the guy who used to give Strong Sad nightmares. (although he didn't answer any in anything or mile). Depending on your definition of "answering" an email, he read extras in spring cleaning (although they were promptly deleted). If you count by each toon being an e-mail, then he still answered in excess of 103 e-mails, since the three bonus e-mails on the DVD are presumably pre-100th. In addition, there is a "preview email" in the Toons Menu and never before seen emails in personal favorites. So really, at the time of the hundredth e-mail, Strong Bad actually has answered more than 100 e-mails. The hundredth email was actually answered somewhere between Emails 83-94.

Senor Cardgage has many physical features that are similar to those of Strong Bad (ie. boxing gloves and mask, no shirt, black pants, etc.) TBC obviously patterned him after Strong Bad's general appearance when they created him; however, in the Homestar Runner universe, it is possible that Strong Bad actually patterned his own appearance after Senor Cardgage. It would make sense that Little Strong Bad, after living down the street from him for a while and coming to believe that he is one of the coolest guys ever, might decide to look, act, and maybe even sound as much as possible like the good Senor. Hey Just thought I would mosey on over here and second that Mark Norton motion, I lived on the Ontario Side of Lake Erie in 2004 when these horrors were still just being broadcast over the television and I couldn't help but think that the two had to be related even in those early days it's just too perfect a Comparison I mean you really can't get much closer to a Senor Cardgage than this guy... especially when the guys who came up with the character used to live in the broadcast region for the commercials. They certainly are creepy especially late at night or on SA. As this is no doubt likely to draw some attention due to the large amount of crossover between the SA, YT, and HS audiences. I was thinking something like this could go up on the Senor Cardgage page if people are cool with that.
