Most of the characters of the Homestar Runner universe are very different in physical characteristics from humans. However, there have been a few characters that more resemble humans.

*20X6 Marzipan &mdash; the 20X6 version of Marzipan.
*Arrow'd Guy &mdash; the tormentor of the Teen Girl Squad.
*Balding Man &mdash; a stereotype of the average middle-aged man.
*Biscuitdoughhandsman &mdash; created after a drawing was created of a man from a description of The King of Town's description of who stole his crown.
*Crack Stuntman &mdash; the voice of Gunhaver of the Cheat Commandos.
*Crack Stuntman's Girlfriend &mdash; the voice of the New Bad Guy Girl Character on Cheat Commandos.
*A. Chimendez &mdash; writer of Cheat Commandos and other TV shows.
*Limozeen &mdash; a stereotypical hair metal band, animated in best thing.
*Teeg Dougland &mdash; the manager of Limozeen.
*Email for kids &mdash; a guitarist resembling a typical singer-songwriter appeared during the counting song.
*Email space program &mdash; the filmstrip includes pictures of some very human looking "Hot sixties looking girls". It also includes pictures of Ted Averill and his co-worker, who appear human.
**Ted Averill would appear again in Career Day.
*Email your funeral &mdash; There is a fat hairy man in a Duckie Shirt at Strong Bad's funeral.

Claims to being human
Despite his appearance, Strong Bad has been referred to as a human in record book. He similarly referred to Marzipan as a human in retirement, and Homsar referred to himself as the "human wedgie" in origins. Strong Bad also described Homestar as "The Human Grate On My Nerves" in Jibblies 2. Strong Bad is cursed with a pair of human hands in Doomy Tales of the Macabre. The Sneak is shown as human in The Ballad Of The Sneak.

Characters played by real humans
*Lem Sportsinterviews
*Shareholders
*Limozeen
*Taranchula
*Little Girl
*Other Little Girl
*Very, Very Little Girl
*Sir Loodabert Comma
*Various Peasant's Quest characters (in the "movie")

Characters modeled after real humans
*Don Knotts
*Moses Malone
*Henry Rollins, Abraham Lincoln, and George Washington

Trivia
*The sign on Bubs' Ticketmaster Stand reads:
<blockquote>Free<br>
Service<br>
Charge<br>
*The third fan is Matt Chapman.

Remarks
*Strong Sad's scene does not have him wearing his yellow jacket.
*The diamond on Strong Bad's mask and the brim of Coach Z's cap are see-through when the camera goes close up on them, but then goes opaque again when the scene fades back into the basement. This is a parody of a common bluescreen malfunction where the person on camera happens to be wearing something that's the same color as the backdrop, causing it to appear transparent when that color is replaced with a simulated background.
*In the actual game, Pom Pom's band has Homestar in it, and is named "PomStar".

Inside References
*Strong Bad "logo" that appears is similar to that of the coaster design.
*The chroma-key malfunction was used before, with a green screen, in redesign.
*The entire promo is similar to the one in monster truck.

Real-World References
Is this necessary? 03:14, 4 August 2008 (UTC)
:Hmm, yes, it could be. That is, if we rounded up more facts. I like the idea personally. -- 04:40, 4 August 2008 (UTC)
::I second that. Although, maybe the title could be changed to not generalize the article. Like, "Strong Bad Contradicting Himself". 04:47, 4 August 2008 (UTC)
:::This is pretty much a rehash of Blatant Lies. I don't think this page is needed. 22:24, 4 August 2008 (UTC)
::::I said that to myself when I first saw this page. Then again, I don't really think anyone is really going to be looking for this, so i don't think a redirect is necessary. Basically, Dill beat it. 22:35, 4 August 2008 (UTC)
:::::I disagree. While these are blatant lies exposed, this is a totally separate gag. Strong Bad being obviously lame is noteworthy and deserves its own article. Being cool is such an integral part of how SB portraits himself. Keep but rename 22:56, 4 August 2008 (UTC)
::::::Hmm...how about the name "Strong Bad Admits" or something like that? :::::::::I think this could work as an article relating to Strong Bad's own admissions of well, lameness. But it needs a rename of some sort. 09:09, 3 September 2008 (UTC)
::::::::::I think "Strong Bad Contradicting Himself" was a good title (kudos to DevonM!). But how do you rename an article? (Being a newbie, I don't know stuff like this.) User:Bloohoo P.S. How do you make a sig?
:::::::::::We rename articles using the Move option, but only after a consensus is reached. Personally I think this should be added somewhere to the main paragraphs of Strong Bad's article. For example, and I paraphrase, "While Strong Bad often claims to be pretty cool, he usually turns out to be actually quite lame. In your edge, he responds to Gee Tee's concerns of him losing his edge by recounting the times..." and so forth. 10:56, 15 September 2008 (UTC)
::::::::::::Much Better Idea.™ XD User:Bloohoo
(restart chain) Actually, it looks like it's already been done somewhat. Here:

"Strong Bad talks a big line, claiming to be a criminal mastermind, a muscle man, and totally popular with the ladies, though there is little evidence of any of these claims, and no shortage of evidence that they are all untrue. Strong Bad refuses to acknowledge this however, and continues unaffected with his delusions of grandeur. He is convinced that Marzipan likes, or has a crush on, him when in fact she "really doesn't like him at all." Due to his delusional opinions about himself, much of what Strong Bad says is obviously untrue. But Strong Bad also seems to state that he is uncool as seen in the email pizzaz."

In other words, BALEETE IT! User:Bloohoo
:Update: Just moved it to "strong bad contradicting himself" (I don't feel like using capitals right now). -User:Bloohoo
::I think you missed the part about AFTER consensus has been reached. 00:55, 19 September 2008 (UTC)
:::Oops. I apologize. <:P -Bloohoo
:I like the flub one! 03:20, 5 October 2008 (UTC)

How about "Not so Strong, not so Bad"?
:I think that's a little too artsy for an article title. --DorianGray 03:50, 17 November 2008 (UTC)
Strong Bad being lame? Maybe like Strong Bad Being Like An Idiot if we are going to call it Strong Bad being lame.Doctorwho295 Decemberween, 2008
How about "Strong Bad losing his edge?" Zowayix 14:49, 1 July 2009 (UTC)

The main problem I have with this article is that the definition of "being lame" varies from person to person. I'd describe most of the music played on the radio as "lame" but others will disagree. Some think obeying the rules and doing your homework is "lame", others think following the rules is vital for a safe, stable society and doing your homework is highly important for academic success. Here, I'd think Strong Bad obeying his parole and being a bit slow to work out the consequences of moving Homestar's mattress would not make him, as it is claimed, "lame", but in this case obedient to the law and a bit slow. Not having any lady friends does not nessecarily make you a "lame" person, just unpopular with the ladies. My point is, how are we going to decide wether something is "lame" or not? 18:59, 28 December 2008 (UTC)
:Well, Homestar mocked Strong Bad for selling Hot Choco, which I think made it count as being lame. And taking a while to figure out the mattress thing seemed to hark back to your edge. I don't think an appreciation of tube socks qualifies though. 18:30, 7 March 2009 (UTC)

Why don't we create a section on Strong Bad's page called "Strong Bad's Perceived Reputation" and a sub-section called "Compromises of SB's Reputation"? OH yeah, Del Taco this page. 19:58, 1 July 2009 (UTC)

I think that the title is fine as it is,but I have an idea for an alternate title. How about "Strong Bad lacking coolness" 19:25, 07 October 2009 (UTC)

Maybe we should call it Strong Bad lieing? - 19:09, 1 November 2009 (UTC)

Car?
Does Strong Bad saying that the "views expressed in the following email do not neccisarily reflect the opinions of anybody cool... oh, except me. I'm cool." act as "being lame", as this page calls it? I was going to add it, but didn't know whether or not it counted and left the page halfway through typing it. So, does this count? --Jellote wuz here 19:15, 8 July 2009 (UTC)

Strong Bad Getting Beaten Up combo perhaps?
I believe that it really adds to the article. Is anyone feeling me on this? --Palla 23:27, 15 October 2009 (UTC)

I used a boneheaded Edit Summary, let me say something here. If "Guitar Hero" is shown to include this song, then we can add the fact. But as 1) it's highly unlikely Trogdor would be included amidst other well-established rock songs and 2) I can't seem to find mention of this on the Internet aside from chat room wishes, I removed it. If you can cite a source, add it back. 09:10, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
:I played Guitar Hero 2 at a friend's house last night, they had an advanced release version. It is included in a bonus track section. Trogdor (specifically the Limozeen version) is in Guitar Hero 2.
:::::According to Wikipedia, "While the bonus tracks have not been revealed to date by Red Octane or Harmonix, the following list of bonus songs was revealed from a Guitar Hero forum post on October 24, 2006 based on screen shots from a game kiosk running the full version of Guitar Hero 2." It's not official information. Additionally, the Wikipedia page is headed with a "likely to contain information of a speculative nature" proviso. Thus, I don't believe it's prudent at this time to include this information as if it were fact when even Wikipedia does not claim it to be verified. Therefore, I am going to revert this information. If this eventually bears out to be true, these edits can easily be restored. 23:06, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
:::I think, personally, if it is real we should wait until the game is OUT. The fourth doesn't cite any source at all, and is on a site where anyone can post anything... though they probably heard it (directly or indirectly) from that same forum post. I'm not saying that it's probably false, it's probably true that it's in there. I just agree with Qermaq that it'd be prudent to wait until the game is actually released and it can be independently confirmed before including the information here. All we have to base this on is a post on a forum on the Internet, and a flurry of websites quoting that post. If there was even a second primary source, someone else who's played this preview version and can confirm that Trogdor is there, I'd probably reconsider putting it on the page. 16:59, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
::::::Here's the reason as I understand it: for whatever reason, the GH2 demo contains all (or most) of the bonus tracks in the final game. The bonus tracks are hidden on the menu, but they can be unlocked using a third-party modification. This mod makes the game think that it is loading one track (in this case "Madhouse") when it is actually loading the files for another (in this case Trogdor). The game loads the text strings and the venue data for Madhouse, but replaces the guitar data and sound file with Trogdor. -- 00:18, 30 October 2006 (UTC)

<blockquote>This song was not originally written by Strong Bad, although much of the credit for the song has been given to them</blockquote>
Who wrote the song? I think I remember reading something somewhere about it being a last minute off-the-cuff idea when they put together dragon, but did TBC not actually write it? If not, maybe more information could be included here about who did write it. Also, this statement is worded a little weird, in that it says "Strong Bad", and then goes on to say "them". Is it just saying that Strong Bad didn't write it because Strong Bad isn't a real person, and the official writers are The Brothers Chapp? The title being all in caps already differences it from the character Trogdor. Why dp we still need the (song) after the caps lock title (TROGDOR). Unless it is to difference it from the game, TROGDOR!!, that is already different by itself due to the punctuation.
Easter Eggs
* Clicking on "Cross-Stitch" at the beginning brings up a needlepoint picture of Strong Bad.
* Clicking the V in the school play scene brings up a Playbill advertising "Yes it does".

* zawesome adj. &mdash; see crap-for-brains.

Explanations
*A quotient is the result of a division operation.
*Frou frou (usually spelled with a dash) means fancy. Chichi means trendy or chic. Both words are derived from French.
*A schwa, written as &#601;, is an unstressed, toneless vowel present in several languages, including English.

Trivia
*The RSS description of this toon is:
<blockquote>Strong Bad says - Like two sides of an extremely rare, valuable, and attractive coin, there's Strong Bad the grammar policeman on one hand, and Strong Bad the guy that makes up a buncha crap all the time on t'other. And nothing fuses the two together like a made-up dictionary. Count Longardeaux from sbemail 134: record book makes his first appearance in 70 sbemails!</blockquote>
*The natural disaster suffixes Strong Bad mentioned are for "avalanche", "earthquake", "tornado", and "monsoon". Homestar adds "forest fire" as another natural disaster suffix in one of the Easter eggs.
*The page to which Strong Bad adds the paunch scratch-and-sniff sticker reads:
<blockquote><big>P</big><br>
paunch (paw-nch) n.<br>
:umm...er...<br>
<br>
pukernado (pyook-er-nay-doh) n.<br>
:a cyclonic upchucking<br>
<br>
pukevalanche (pyook-vuh-lanch) n.<br>
:a lot, lot, lot of the puke</blockquote>

Remarks
*Strong Sad himself can be seen behind Pom Pom when the main characters protest that Strong Sad's "paunch smells." His body is even moving, indicating that he is saying "Yes it does."
*When Homestar flips from "crap-for-brains" to "carp-for-brains", he flips from the index of "P" words to the index of "C" words, even though both words start with "C". He then looks up "brain-for-brains" in the index of "P" words. This is similar to Strong Sad's complaint that the dictionary goes "straight from crapvalanche to pukevalanche", where is he flips the dictionary back and forth from the index of "C" words to "P" words.
*There is a double-space between "little" and "boodroscotch", and between "droppin'" and "on".
*Although the suffix "-rnado" is shown, the narrator and Homestar use it without the "r" when they say "wastenado."
*The suffix "-onsoon" (hinting at monsoon) does not fit in the list because monsoon is actually not considered to be a natural disaster.
*Coach Z's body (from his sixth design) is hidden in the Flash File.
*Predictably, two of the "sound" words included in Strong Bad's dictionary have several consonants.
*The book Homsar holds while speaking to the Tire looks nothing like the dictionary seen throughout the email.
*When hit with the dictionary, Homestar's tooth comes from behind his mouth.

Goofs
*Strong Bad doesn't type the "a" in "droppin' on a daily basis."
*In the definition for "boodroscotch", the word "that" is repeated.
*The Back button leads to the Toons menu, instead of the Strong Bad Email menu.
*When Strong Bad puts his left hand on his dictionary, his left arm and hand is down, but a boxing glove can be seen held up. Also, when his left hand is on the dictionary, a small area of his left hand (on his left arm) can be seen.
*In the definition for "dribble-drabble", the third "e" in "cheesecake" is missing.
*Just before Strong Bad types "Not to be outdone by that no-talent schwa sound", a small section of the "N" in "Not" is visible.

Inside References
*Strong Bad's desktop appears to advertise a sequel to Where's an Egg?
*One of the dictionaries The Cheat is seen standing on is labeled "Thick n' Nasty DICTIONARY", a reference to the Thick n' Nasty burger seen in Blubb-O's Commercial.
*The Sawsome Jack! sticker is labeled "Awesome Sauce", from funny and keep cool.
*The sound clip of an audience cheering and an unseen character screaming "Onion Bubs!" repeatedly is taken directly from original.
*Homestar remarks that the dictionary is the best choose my own adventure he's ever play-read.
*The Easter Egg featuring Homestar wearing a viking helmet and talking in the Movie Theater is similar to another scene in the movies.
*The definition for "sawesome" reads "not unlike having..."
*One of the sentences in the dictionary reads, "This suckquake of a movie is a complete wastenado of my seven bucksonsoon.".

Made-Up Strong Bad Animals are creatures that Strong Bad imagines himself as in the email animal. These were abandoned concepts, as Strong Bad eventually settles on Sterrance.

Monstrosity
Monstrosity is the first animal Strong Bad imagines himself as. Its defining features include:
*Claws
*Horns
*Tusks
*Tentacles
*Proboscis
*Segmented Eyes
Although Strong Bad mentions these, it doesn't appear to have:
*Power Doors
*15 Year Drivetrain Warranty

Monstrosity bubbles a green froth when it tries to speak due to its proboscis.

(Technically, Monstrosity is depicted with antlers, which are often mistaken for horns. Also, the eyes are actually compound eyes, not, as Strong Bad calls them, segmented eyes.)
Deep Sea Fangly Fish
The second attempt at a Strong Bad animal is rendered in Powered by The Cheat style. It comes fully equipped with Christmas lights all over, and a back deck (for dinner and dancing). Strong Bad originally envisioned himself dancing with Baby Styles on this back deck, until he realized that he was already the fangly fish. Instead of a dangling bioluminescent light, its lure is a Homestar Runner head, which tries to attract prey with promises of free puppies, ginger snaps, and Pocket PCs. Somehow, the lure seems to be the brains of this operation, though it is only as articulate as one would expect from a Powered by The Cheat Homestar Runner. This is designed after a species of Anglerfish.
The Red Steckled Elbermung
This is a red gastropod-like animal with a pattern like Strong Bad's mask around its eyes and huge lips, displayed as an illustration in a children's book. It seems to have hair growing on its back. As Strong Bad reconsiders the creature, it is accompanied by targeted captions shooting down its salient features with a "no".
clear

El Pardack
This is a stodgy creature with one arm resembling Senor Cardgage's. Its other arm is a soolnd with three toes. It says "what the?", as Strong Bad dismisses it as a "nasty blob thing". The style in which El Pardack is drawn somewhat resembles that of Biscuitdoughhandsman.

Stnank and Grumberto
Two animals that were to be used in animal, but didn't make it.

The name "Stnank" was eventually used in the email do over, though it was not used as any kind of made-up animal. Strong Bad made up the word to describe a mild mistake that would be worthy of re-doing.
Fun Facts
Trivia
*The RSS description of this toon is:
<blockquote>Homestar and Strong Bad are BACK like you've never seen them before! Pointier, angrier, pre-teenier!! The 6-12 demographic won't know what hit em when they witness Xeriouxly Forxe, the all-new adventures of Homestar Runner and friends with a bold new look and an edgier style that just screams, "Hey 6-12 demographic! Do you know what hit you? Can you tell our focus group person that you don't know what hit you, please?" With all those X's in the name, it has to be cool! </blockquote>
*This toon marked the first time in five months that homestarrunner.com received a new toon, the longest hiatus to date.
*All 12 main characters appear in this toon.
*This toon is one of few to be in widescreen.

Remarks
* Except for Homsar (who doesn't change at all), every character that normally lacks visible arms gains some sort of arms when upgraded.
** Additionaly, Marzipan gains tentacles, rather than hands, and if you count The Cheat's "flipper" hands, he actually loses them.

Fixed Goofs
*After The Poopsmith is transformed, the cutaway to the next character showed The Poopsmith in non-transformed form. This was fixed within a half-hour of release.

Inside References
*S. Sad has the head of an elephant.
*Xeriouxly is in the new name.
*The Cheat used "Ch8t" previously in mile and bedtime story.
*The line "revamped for the '90s" was previously used on April 1, 2005 in relation to Teen Girl Squad.

Real-World References
*H. Star has Doctor Octopus-style arms strapped around his neck.
*S. Bad has a variation of the Batman emblem on his mask.
<!-- The joke here is too general for just one reference, so please don't mention specific other cartoons that got unnecessary "edgy" revamps. -->
