I tried editing this, but it was reversed. Lecter wasn't the one who wore people's skin as clothes. He was a cannibal. The character was "Buffalo Bill" that did the skin wearing. One could also make the case that it's based off "Leatherface" from "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" who did the same thing
== Shankle ==

The nature of the Ramshankle vehicle, specifically the fact that it's "made out of old vehicles that we couldn't sell", is probably a reference to the Dreadnok Thunder Machine, which was said to be made up of parts from various Cobra vehicles, a stolen jet engine, and the front end of a Trans Am.
