'''Marshie''' (capital M, and then "arshie", as he would put it) is the genuinely alarming mascot for [[Fluffy Puff Marshmallows]]. He serves as a caustic and slightly absurd satire of any number of mascots hawking products to children.

Marshie has no known relationships with any H*R characters, save [[Homestar Runner]], who "hates that freakin' marshmallow," probably because Marshie [[Meet Marshie|took his job as Fluffy Puff pitchman]].

Marshie is infamously - and intentionally - creepy. His commercials have featured non-sequitur rantings, disturbing close-ups, inappropriate sound effects, faintly desperate pleas and even a behind-the-scenes nervous breakdown. He also tends to announce his appearances by uttering hackneyed slang phrases such as " 'Sup fools!" and "Oh ''snap''!" in a heavy-handed attempt to convince kids to like him. However, this technique is essentially nullified by Marshie's innate creepiness, leaving the acceptance he seeks safely out of reach.

The use of [[Nibbles]] as a mascot in [[bottom 10]] may be evidence for Marshie's increasing unsuitability as a mascot, or at least in specifically promoting Fluffy Puff's bite-sized Nibblers product.

Beyond his creepy demeanor, it is insinuated that Marshie is not simply disturbing but actually evil. He is named as a "bad guy" in the song "[[Strong Bad is a Bad Guy]]," a vaporized version of Marshie in [[candy product]] cheerily warns that "you can't destroy me!" However, this "demonic Marshie" first appeared as an Easter egg in [[Pumpkin Carve-nival]].

Marshie shares a resemblance to both the [[Wikipedia:Image:Hardees.png|Carl's Jr./Hardee's star]] and the characters on the [http://www.goldenfluff.com/marsh.htm Elyon kosher marshmallows] bag.

According to [[Cheat Commandos...O's]], Marshie is a "Ser-g-geant".

'''"How do you type with boxing gloves on?"''' and its variants are questions that [[Strong Bad]] is asked on a regular basis in his [[Strong Bad Email|emails]]. [[The Brothers Chaps]] obviously must be asked it so often that they made it a running gag.

Strong Bad hates this question, as it is often seen to be [[DELETED]]. [[Old-Timey Strong Bad]] is apparently frequently asked the similar question, "How do you manage the [[Supra Modern Telegram|telegramophone]] whilst wearing gentleman's sport gloves?" Strong Bad parodies this question in the [[Fan Costume Commentary]] and the email [[vacation]]. In the DVD commentary for the email [[video games]], The Brothers Chaps say that they might come up with a way to answer this question someday. However, in February 2006, they also included this question as one of five topics which will likely [[Flashforward 2006 Seattle - 28 Feb 2006#Pre-animation Process - 4:05 p.m.|never be addressed in a Strong Bad Email]].

On a related note, in the email [[impression]] on Strong Bad's tape recording, [[Strong Sad]] tells Strong Bad to stop flicking his ear, but Strong Sad doesn't have any visible ears, nor does Strong Bad have visible fingers with which to flick someone's ear. Additionally, Strong Bad seems capable of typing not only with his boxing gloves, but with any part of his body he wishes. In [[sisters]] he types "head—hit—keyboard" by striking the keyboard with his head, and in [[funny]] he types "WOAH!! I CAN TYPE WITH ONE FOOT!" by hitting the keyboard with his foot.

At one point, in the email [[fingers]], he tried prosthetic fingers made of various items such as [[Prawns|prawn]], action figures, etc. Their effect on his typing skills, though, was disastrous. However, in [[morning routine]] he was able to type successfully with a [[Potate]] bag covering his right hand.

In the email [[highschool]], [[Teenage Variation|Teenage Strong Bad]] plays the keyboard in [[The Homestar Runner Mysfit-steries]], even though he doesn't have fingers.

In the email [[pop-up]], the [[Tandy 400]] was featured in the book asking "HOW TYPE BOX GLOVES?" Strong Bad described this as "his crappy old computer, asking the same crappy old question."

A similar question that gets asked often is how [[Homestar Runner|Homestar]], [[Marzipan]], [[The King of Town]], and [[Homsar]], among other characters, are able to pick things up [[Lack of Visible Arms|without having any arms]].
