This is the first Homestar Runner cartoon ever made, using [[Wikipedia:Mario Paint|Mario Paint]]. In this toon, see Homestar dance in a field, fly through space, run around a boxing ring with Strong Bad, lift weights, and even play guitar—all to the accompaniment of annoying vocals and an electronic rhythm section. Near the end, you can also see early versions of The Cheat, Strong Mad, and Strong Sad, plus Strong Bad's pointy green tongue. Unlike the other toons, this runs in QuickTime instead of Flash.

*[[The Brothers Chaps]] made this for their older brother's birthday.
*We finally see Strong Bad's tongue, which happens to be green.
*The Japanese characters are mainly written in [[Wikipedia:Katakana|katakana]], which is a character set used in written Japanese used primarily to write foreign words and onomatopoeias. The exception is the "Homestar with yellow background" screen which also contains [[Wikipedia:Hiragana|hiragana]], which are used in a more general-purpose fashion in conjunction with [[Wikipedia:Kanji|kanji]]. The Brothers Chaps seem, however, to be expressing gibberish. A possible reason for this is that they may not know Japanese.
*The music that accompanies this toon could not possibly have been made using Mario Paint, which has a fixed note length and can only play notes in the C-major scale. Furthermore Mario Paint only lets you do nine frames consecutively, indicating that this animation would have had to be recorded to an external source over and over again to achieve many effects present.
*There ARE various tools in Mario Paint that can create effects seen in the cartoon. For instance, the "drip" at the end is quite clearly one of the erase tools. In addition, many of the animations (like Homestar with the bat) were clearly looping AND less than 9 frames long. The picture quality varies-a sign that the sequences were recorded at different times and linked together.
*There seems to be several discolorations within the movie. For example, Pom Pom is shown with a white head in the soccer scene, Strong Mad's singlet is black a la [[Marshmallow's Last Stand (toon)|Marshmallow's Last Stand]], Homestar's visor is blue and Strong Sad is orange.

Here's how it works. First off, you ''can'' still add a fun fact to the page directly. If somebody doesn't like it, though, it will probably be STUFF'D!, that is, moved to this list. If you think there is even a small bit of doubt as to whether or not everybody would agree it's fun and/or factual, it should probably be added directly to this page instead. ''This will not be necessary for every page, only those that would otherwise likely be cluttered with fun facts. This applies mostly to pages reflecting new Homestar Runner content, for instance, the page for the latest Strong Bad Email.''

Check out [[HRWiki:Select The Usable Fun Facts Archive|The Archives]] and the [[HRWiki:over STUFF'd|over STUFF'd page]] for old fun facts that have moved on from this page.

Things that always make good fun facts:
* References to other toons or e-mails that will be obvious to longtime users but not to newcomers
* References to pop culture (but not those that are so obvious that ''everybody'' will recognize them; everybody knows that Ronald McDonald is the clown mascot of McDonald's, for instance)
* ''Verified'' tidbits about the creation of the toon or e-mail (for example, "Mike, not Matt, provided the voice of Strong Sad saying 'Douglas'")

Things that often do not make good fun facts:
* Speculation ("This scene may be a reference to a vaguely similar scene in ''The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy''...")
* Glitches due to the Flash software (unless the glitch may have a very amusing and relevant anecdote to go with it)
* Things already noted in the transcript
* Things that anybody can figure out by watching the toon or reading the transcript
* Things that become easily dated. ("Other then those past two times, this is one of the few times that ____ happens")

Things that always make good fun facts can just be added directly to the appropriate page without going through the approval process. However, be careful with references: if it isn't ''necessarily'' true that the table turning into a black and red grid is a reference to [[StrongBadZone]], then you should probably post it here instead.

When something is posted here, you can vote on it. You should be logged in and sign your vote; anonymous votes do not count because it is easy for a single user to cast multiple votes. Signing your post with the name of another user in the hopes that it won't be noticed will definitely not be tolerated. This only applies to votes: fun facts may be proposed by any user and do not have to be signed (in fact, it is probably better not to sign them).

If the admins like a fun fact, they will immediately move it to the appropriate page as needed (regardless of votes). If they don't, they will wait a while until the fun fact has accumulated enough votes or a convincing argument is made.

Since no one can apparently agree to a consensus on this one, I'll try a revised version.

This action is contrary to the idea of Wiki. The article is lost forever now, but at least we can decide if the decision was right and whether it should be reposted.
