This is a wiki about the Homestar Runner universe, not about famous composers. We should not have a discussion about whether Bach wrote a piece of music, nor do we need to go into that much detail in fun facts. The first sentence of 'Kipedia entry for [[Wikipedia:Toccata and Fugue in D minor, BWV 565|Toccata and Fugue in D minor, BWV 565]] says it's "... written by Johann Sebastian Bach..." and we really shouldn't go into any more detail than that either. :I disagree. I personally find (light) offense to the reference that he wrote it, but that just may be me. Plus, adding a note that it's a possibly spurious composition can still make the note brief. I say uncapitalized because if the manual read, "1up the Extra Man", I could accept it as part of the name, but I think it's just a description—if 1-Up weren't getting in the way on that level, Stinkoman wouldn't have to protect him. Strong Bad's movements aren't in sync when using Firefox. But in Internet Explorer, he's fine (provided your computer is fast enough). I don't know why, but Firefox has a frame limiter in its version of Flash, making some movies not play right.

:What must have heppened: some vandal moved a page you were watching to that name. Then it was deleted and recreated for any of a number of reasons. :Done. BTW, when you need to change something in the "What's new" section of the Main Page, you actually need to edit [[Template:whatsnew]]. That's where the text in that part of the page is. You can't edit the Main Page because it's protected so that only sysops can edit it. Though if I had to guess, I'd say that they might have two servers that they serve the files from, and the songs are missing on one... this could also explain why the <code>.exe</code> versions of [[take-a-break.exe]] and the [[Homestar Runner and Strong Bad Screensaver|screensavers]] don't always work, one of the servers could be configured differently to the other for <code>.exe</code> files. Sorry to everyone for the lack of notice, but MediaWiki was getting so unweildy we decided to just go through with the regrade before really preparing the community. The admins and sysops have been discussing this for a few months in Da Basement (it's all been archived by now, but you'll find it there if you look). We decided to do this now for three reasons: (1) MediaWiki has way too many SQL tables. That was creating a lot of unnecessary overhead and it was really starting to tax the server. 'Tavi has a smaller database, so it should work better. (2) MediaWiki is really designed for multi-server load balancing systems like Wikipedia. After using it for over a year now we've become painfully aware just how kludgy MediaWiki is when it's running on a single server like ours. 'Tavi should be able to handle our single-server system much better. (3) Surprisingly, MediaWiki had no optimization of it's X32 page caching, which was really starting to eat up a lot of space on our server. 'Tavi recently rolled out better X45 page caching that looks to revolutionize the wiki market. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of other wikis switch to 'Tavi now that 'Tavi has stepped it up a notch. Again, sorry for the short notice, but we felt we had to do it now before MediaWiki crashed the server and caused unrecoverable data loss. I don't know whether or not this is actually a joke (don't bite my head off here, anyone, I'm just a bit sceptical that they would make such a drastic change without saying anything), but those of us having a tough time adjusting to the new layout should switch to "Classic" skin on their preferences page. A hint to admins: Years ago, I was on everything2 when the admins decided to creatively mess up the user interface on April Fools' Day. People ran away screaming and cursing and a few didn't come back, ever, for real. I got a horrible flashback of that day. I'm not really so sure if this is either MediaWiki or WikiTikkiTavi. There is evidence to support the fact that it's still MediaWiki, like the usage of underscores and other URL stuffs (from my knowledge, WikiTikkiTavi does not have underscores in their URLS, plus there's no index.php/ directory), and some of the retained information from MediaWiki, like even the edit page. On the other hand, there's the evidence the administrators have given, pointing toward the fact that information from MediaWiki might have been retained, and is pending its erase. Besides, the administrators are the only ones with access to the server and raw access to files. The mystery shall be solved tomorrow, on April 2 (it's still Fools' Day on my time). {{User:DannyDaWriter/sig}}
