I noticed that the referance explaination about the Poopsmith's Easter Egg has been changed from "My Michelle" (Guns'n Roses) to "Michelle" (The Beatles) and back. It seems like a standard email check to me. Other than the grandiose entry, Strong Bad has a specific task to check his email. The fact that he gets sidetracked is pretty irrelevant. I'd compare it to [[huttah]], where the focus is far more about The Cheat than Strong Bad himself. =How I Came to Know and Love the Wiki=
it all started about a year ago after i had become a full fledged homestar fan. at that point i was addicted on it and was doin a google serch for homestar pics and sites. i had kept on coming across a site that sounded like some hawian thing "Wiki" looks like "Tiki" but at first it looked dumb and boring so i avoied it since my parrents dont like me going on to unfermilliar sites. eventuly touge i looked in to it and found it was pretty cool. at first i contibuted anomisly and dindnt do much since i diddnt know how to do any thing. preety soon i made an account and still didnt do any thing magor till about this summer. and now look what ive done!

=How I Came to Know and Love the Wiki=
it all started about a year ago after i had become a full fledged homestar fan. at that point i was addicted on it and was doin a google serch for homestar pics and sites. i had kept on coming across a site that sounded like some hawian thing "Wiki" looks like "Tiki" but at first it looked dumb and boring so i avoied it since my parrents dont like me going on to unfermilliar sites. eventuly touge i looked in to it and found it was pretty cool. at first i contibuted anomisly and dindnt do much since i diddnt know how to do any thing. preety soon i made an account and still didnt do any thing magor till about this summer. and now look what ive done!

And now for the actual reply. We all want to have friends and meet new ones. If this fact was false we wouldn't have such sites as MySpace. Yes, the wiki is a way to make friends, contrary to what some people were saying here, and no, the Fanstuff is not the only place to goof around. But (and that's a big but) making friends through random signatures left on your userpage is not the way to do it. Some userpages told the signers to leave a comment next to their sig. While some posted things like "Thenks for helping me" or "We had fun that one time", alot of them left comments like "Yay! I'm number 27!" or "What? Another guestbook?!" showing that they don't really care about you, your userpage or how good your edits are. It just became a wall intended to be place for art pieces but ended up for ugly graffiti. If you want to make friends, have you thought of going to the chatroom? Having a project, a big one? Think about the wiki as school. An open one where you can make everything. #I don't see anything wrong with guestbooks. The primary "problem" seems to be that it floods Recent Changes. Increase the number of things that appear in Recent Changes, then. Besides, it's not like other things don't flood Recent Changes (Image templates, category additions, bots, etc). The other problem was that there's an increasing number of edits that have to be checked for vandalism. As the wiki grows, there'll be more edits, user namespace or otherwise. *I, like Heimstern, have been somewhat abstaining from voting one way or another in this issue. There are probably more people who are somewhat ambivalent to the issue. I, myself don't have a guestbook, but I have signed many in my day, as I've mentioned before. I think the hardest thing to swallow is having to part with something that been attached to and they pride themselves in (be it for frivolous reasons or not). When I first saw them, I thought it was a great idea. I didn't know it had become the nuisance it is now until i started reading this dicussion. Personally, I still feel like eliminating them altogether seems like a rather extreme solution to the problem. Of course, like Heimstern said, many good users have voluntarily removed their guestbooks and what remains are the seemingly fanatical ones. It seems that a tug-of-war has arised over the desire for some users to have as much freedom over their userspace as possible, versus the need for this wiki to grow as a community and in order to do so it must have some reasonable structure to it. The willingness of many established members to give up their guestbooks is a clear sign that there is a problem. Guestbooks started out as kinda cute. Then they became a fad. Now it seems that everybody's user pages are being edited by other people. I remember a time when such a thing was vandalism nine times out of ten. Having guestbooks is really becoming a nuisance for recent changes. I think we should do away with them. I don't even think moving them to a subpage is a good idea, because it seems most people just go around blindly signing them, without actually reading the page in question. =How I Came to Know and Love the Wiki=
it all started about a year ago after i had become a full fledged homestar fan. at that point i was addicted on it and was doin a google serch for homestar pics and sites. i had kept on coming across a site that sounded like some hawian thing "Wiki" looks like "Tiki" but at first it looked dumb and boring so i avoied it since my parrents dont like me going on to unfermilliar sites. eventuly touge i looked in to it and found it was pretty cool. at first i contibuted anomisly and dindnt do much since i diddnt know how to do any thing. preety soon i made an account and still didnt do any thing magor till about this summer. and now look what ive done!

=How I Came to Know and Love the Wiki=
it all started about a year ago after i had become a full fledged homestar fan. at that point i was addicted on it and was doin a google serch for homestar pics and sites. i had kept on coming across a site that sounded like some hawian thing "Wiki" looks like "Tiki" but at first it looked dumb and boring so i avoied it since my parrents dont like me going on to unfermilliar sites. eventuly touge i looked in to it and found it was pretty cool. at first i contibuted anomisly and dindnt do much since i diddnt know how to do any thing. preety soon i made an account and still didnt do any thing magor till about this summer. and now look what ive done!

I am, much like [[Strong Bad]] and [[The Brothers Chaps]], a nerd as well as a head. I consider myself to be a video game aficionado, and I am also notably interested in literature, computers, the Internet, Japanese culture and art and various types of fantasy and fiction. On the other hand, I listen to hip-hop and rock music more than anything, I wear beanies and necklaces most every day, I use urban slang quite often and I hold every head's secret weapon, the Xbox controller.

Today (the day that I wrote this) is the first day of 2006. I have been anticipating the new year for quite some time, and it's finally here. As everyone knows, this is the perfect time for resolutions. My important goals for this year are to be a nicer person (which is easier said than done), to spend less time with Homestar and Strong Bad and more time with my family, and to take more time to pray.

Those are my important goals for [[20X6]] - I mean 2006 - and here I've lined out my trivial goals, which most will probably be more interested in.

* Write at least one article.
* Find more family friendly cartoons on the Internet. As of now, Homestar Runner is the only one I can watch whenever I want, whether my younger siblings are in the room or not - [http://www.fat-pie.com/ Fat Pie], [http://www.adultswim.com/ Insult Master] and [http://www.weebl.jolt.co.uk/ Weebl & Bob] don't fit the bill.
* Check out [[Wikipedia:Red vs. Blue|Red vs. Blue]].
* Write note regarding Strong Bad's nickname for Strong Sad, "DJ Dumpy Dump" from [[rampage]] and another on [[Peasant's Quest]] - you'll see!
* Create a fake wiki for all the images I can't put on the wiki (not because they're inappropriate but because I don't have enough room) via [[Wikipedia:Yahoo! GeoCities|Yahoo! GeoCities]].

Give it up for him!

I am, much like [[Strong Bad]] and [[The Brothers Chaps]], a nerd as well as a head. I consider myself to be a video game aficionado, and I am also notably interested in literature, computers, the Internet, Japanese culture and art and various types of fantasy and fiction. On the other hand, I listen to hip-hop and rock music more than anything, I wear beanies and necklaces most every day, I use urban slang quite often and I hold every head's secret weapon, the Xbox controller.

In the past I have written reviews of somewhat poor quality for [[Wikipedia:Amazon.com|Amazon.com]], which I have recently [[deleted]]. However, I plan to re-write the past reviews in a more professional manner sometime soon. I have also started much controversy among web sites such as [[Wikipedia:TV.com|TV.com]] and [[Wikipedia:Wikipedia|Wikipedia]].

He is a character based on those from the ''[[Wikipedia:Star Wars|Star Wars]]'' movies, who is (as of now) fond of sword fighting and does so with a crossbreed of a Lightsaber and a Japanese Katana Sword. Currently, his only appearance, besides as my username, has been via TV.com, where he is the star of various blog entries, and answers the questions of readers. This concept was inspired by the [[Strong Bad Email]] series.
