It appears as though their set in particular was used to make a boat (the "balloon" capsules on the bottom are a dead giveaway).
*Strong Sad being locked in the bathtub is a reference to [[The Best Decemberween Ever]], when he says that's what his brothers do to him every [[Decemberween]].
*The song Strong Sad sings in the bathtub is a reference to "One Night in Bangkok". It was a number one hit for Murray Head in 1984 and was composed and written by Benny Andersson and Bj�rn Ulvaeus of ABBA and Tim Rice. It is from the musical Chess. However, the lyric he sings was not part of the original song - the similar line is "One night in Bangkok and the tough guys tumble."
*At the end, [[Homestar's Clock]] shows how many minutes are left of Decemberween. The clock runs on your computer's clock and counts down to midnight on December 26. You can also force it to say "It's Over" if you right-click on the toon and pick "Play" from the menu (only works if viewing the flash file directly).
*The outside of [[Homestar's]] house in this toon looks nothing like the outside of his house in the other toons. In this one, it has white paneling, unlike his usual red with white polka-dotted house.

==== Other Things of Interest ====
*This is the first time Homestar and Homsar have had a true '1 on 1' conversation. In [[Pumpkin Carve-nival]], it was really strong bad, and in [[army]] he just addressed his troops rather than Homsar himself.
*When the clock says, "IT'S OVER," this is most likely a reference to [[Teen Girl Squad]], where Strong Bad says, "It's over!" at the end of every toon.
*Homestar dressed in his pajamas with a cinnamon stubble is a reference to [[caper]].
*This is one of the very few times when we see the inside of Homestar's house, and the first time we see his bedroom. The others are [[radio]] and [[caper]].
*This episode marks Homsar's first appearance in a Decemberween 'toon.
*Homestar's T-shirt at the beginning is almost identical to the one Michael Jackson wears in the beginning of the "Beat It" video.
*Strong Bad's Grabbo Arm makes the same noises as Homestar's tricked-out propeller cap in [[car]].

*It's odd considering that [[Homestar]]'s tear-away calendar says it's the 25th, but he went to bed on the 24th and didn't wake up until the 25th, which means he couldn't change it. (Then again, he could have changed it before going to sleep and forgot.)
*Homestar's bunny slippers have the eyes and ears upside down relative to one another. This is also true in [[caper]].
*Homestar saying "Looks like the ol' captain of the team still has what it takes." may be a reference to the fact that Strong Bad has been getting all the attention and becoming the main star of the site.
*This toon was the first in a long time to feature Homestar as the main character instead of Strong Bad.

Jubblegum: Not an inside joke

An '''inside joke''' is something that is only found on the site in two or three places, and is obscure in most or all instances. Something that has been featured more than three times usually becomes a regular feature of the site. For instance: Trogdor and fhqwhgads are no longer inside jokes, even though they started out that way.

These are the things that people who are new to Homestar Runner would simply not get at all. In fact, some of us who have seen most of the cartoons may not have fully picked up on them.

A piece of paper that comes down after each [[Strong Bad Email]]. It reads: <tt>Click here to e-mail strong bad</tt>. Usually, this event signals the end of the e-mail. However, the majority of easter eggs can be found after The Paper has come down, either by waiting or clicking on words Strong Bad has typed. Nobody knows where The Paper actually comes from, since Strong Bad does not seem to have a printer. This seems to have no effect on this seemingly magical The Paper and it can sometimes be seen manifesting itself out of the clear blue skies. According to the Strong Bad Email [[montage]], it looks as though it will be replaced by an inkjet printer after email #173. That, of course, remains to be seen.

The paper shows up in a couple other places too, saying different things.

*At the end of [[Superbowl Dealie]], it reads, "Due to the big game, the Strong Bad Email will be late this week."
*At the end of [[Arcade Game]], it reads, "Click here to play the Trogdor arcade game."

*In [[superhero name]], a comic book with an "email Strong Bad" link appeared in lieu of The Paper.
*At the end of [[guitar]] Strong Bad uses the [[BMW Lighter]] to scorch the paper.
*There is a printer, and apparently it's female. This may be a reference to computer parts, where the ends are called male or female. Most printers, however, are male. Keep clicking the knobs of the Tandy 400 at the end of [[invisibility]], and eventually the screen says, "tell the printer i'll miss her."
*At the end of [[50 emails]] it comes down prematurely, ending an e-mail which in Strong Bad's opinion was not quite over. Indeed, The Paper seems to have a mind of its own!
*In [[japanese cartoon]] The Paper is an anime credits list.
*Strong Bad also uses The Paper in the [[autobiography]] email. This time he prints the email out from his computer, like you would with a normal printer. The actual location of the printer is probably forever a mystery, much like Strong Bad's ability to type with boxing gloves for hands.
**Later in this e-mail, The Paper takes a while to signal the end of the e-mail due to a paper jam.
*In [[big white face]], it again comes down from the sky, and [[The Poopsmith]] tries to push it up with his shovel.
