**The Cheat appears to be an altered George sprite from the game. George was a giant gorilla very similar to King Kong, who used his arm furthest from the player to aid him in walking, just as The Cheat does.

**This is because you could sit there for hours on end doing ''no'' commands, and the length would be longer than 240 seconds.
*Marzipan's costume has a small hole in it and you can see her pink flesh beneath, giving further credence to the theory that her body is actually skirt-shaped.
*Originally Coach Z's intro rap was: "Doot-doo-doot-doo, and I think I'll make ya fall right down on your face, but first let me introduce myself. My name is Hoodsey. Pronounced with an 'oodsey.'"
*This is the first instance of [[The Cheat's Head Exploding]].

*When Homestar says, "We're coming to your house to trick or treat!", the bottom outline on his cap moves.
*When Strong Bad smears the Butterfinger bar on the door and Strong Sad shows up, the melted chocolate on the door disappears when the choices of candy show up.
*Just after Homestar says "Let's repeat the stuff that we just saaaaid!", Strong Bad's mouth opens a little wider.

===Glitches===
*The light switch can be moved up and down, but it doesn't do anything. You can flip the switch even while the door is opened, and if you leave the light switch down, it will automatically go back up when the next person knocks.
*When viewed in [[Wikipedia:Mozilla Firefox|Firefox]], there are weird sounds related to the door opening and closing. They are always at the same place.
*After Strong Bad says, "Open the freakin' door!" we can hear the sound of the door opening.
*After Bubs says, "Gimme some candy!", the outline under his mouth nearly vanishes, and the shading of his 'MARS' chain also changes.
*When Homestar is introducing the toon, the line between his head and hat and his eyes seem to move very slightly up and down.

*The light switch can be moved up and down, but it doesn't do anything. You can flip the switch even while the door is opened, and if you leave the light switch down, it will automatically go back up when the next person knocks.

*After Strong Bad says, "Open the freakin' door!" we can hear the sound of the door opening.

'''The Paper''' was the piece of printer paper that came down from the top of the screen after nearly every [[Strong Bad Email]], up until [[the paper]], when it was replaced by [[New Paper]]. It usually would read:

In the first twenty emails, it contained just the first line without an email address. The Paper coming down usually signals the end of the email; however, the majority of [[Easter egg]]s can be found after The Paper has come down. One can either wait around or click on certain words [[Strong Bad]] has typed. It is shown in [[the paper]] that Strong Bad had its printer above his desk, but it is still unclear exactly where it was attached to. This seemingly magical paper can sometimes be seen manifesting itself out of the clear blue sky, where it can seem huge in comparison to its normal size. Some suggest that it's merely in the foreground. On occasion, Strong Bad has touched The Paper in closeup, making The Paper look even more like it's gigantic compared to everything else by having his hand seem notably smaller than The Paper.

From the sound it made and the quality of the printout, the printer that produces The Paper can be assumed to be of the [[Wikipedia:dot matrix printer|dot matrix]] variety. The sprocket holes on the edges further indicated that it had a tractor feed mechanism. Both technologies are almost completely [[Strong Bad's Technology|outmoded]]. In most appearances, The Paper prints upside-down from how a real dot-matrix printer would operate; that is, the ''last'' line prints first toward the free edge of the page. However, as seen in [[the paper]], it is also capable of printing in the "normal" orientation. A drawing of the printer in [[lady fan]] also shows the printer operating in this way.

It was foretold in [[montage]] that The Paper would stick around until email #173, at which time Strong Bad would upgrade to an [[New Paper|inkjet printer]]. This did indeed come to pass. The Paper's printer began to malfunction, and fell from its hidden spot above the computer. After a series of flashbacks reminiscing about The Paper, it bade Strong Bad farewell, and he cremated it with the [[BMW lighter]]. Its ashes spelled "Bye now". Strong Bad then sang a lament for his departed friend: "And The Paper goeth into the niiIIiiIIiiIIght!"

Despite The Paper's demise on the website, The Paper returned alive and well in [[Strong Bad's Cool Game For Attractive People]], as part of the in-game menu. It also returned to the site for Strong Bad's [[email thunder|200th email]], when it fought the [[New Paper]] offscreen. It was then accidentally burned to a crisp once more by the electrocuting Happy 8600.

The [[onomatopoeia]] for The Paper's sound effect is "[[preeeeow]]", mentioned in [[autobiography]], [[haircut]], [[part-time job]], [[garage sale]], [[lady fan]], [[coloring]], and [[the paper]]. It should also be noted that The Paper is always referred to with an [[integral article]].

*At the end of [[Superbowl Dealie]], it reads, "Due to the big game, the Strong Bad Email will be late this week."

*At the end of [[duck pond]], it reads, "Click here to play '[[Duck Pond]]'".
*At the end of [[King of Town Email]], The Paper comes down and reads, "Nobody wants to e-mail The King of Town. For real."
*In the [[HR:crazycartoon.html|Toons Menu version]] of [[crazy cartoon]], it appears in [[Powered by The Cheat]] form and reads ">>>The End<<<".
