Personally, I don't believe Cold Ones are beer. I think Strong Beer is a reference to Root Beer. Also Cold One is a slang word for soda English people use. The martinis in [[Decemberween Kids' Book]] are not negetivly references because no one is drinking it. And in the Everybody to the limit and the email [[montage]] when Strongbad is holding a glass of wine, he really isn't because [[The Cheat]] just made a poorly drawn flash movie and Strong Bad was imagining him in love with the wagon fulla pancakes.

I understand the initial hesitation to declare Cold Ones as Beer, but the evidence is sufficient for us to drop the pretence. "Cold One" is a euphemism for beer, and was used by TBC to keep the site "a site for all ages". In my grade-6 class someone had written a western short story to be put on the wall before parent teacher night. In this story he used the word "beer", and the teacher was concerned that the parents may wonder what sort of class he was running, so he suggested that the guy change it to "Cold One". This must be an American thing... in Australia, "beer" isn't some kind of terrible taboo. Cold Ones are clearly beer. The business about warm or room temperature Cold Ones is directly mirrored by beer in the real world. Oven warmed soda?!... Get over it already; Cold Ones = Beer. Real Beer. I'm seriously considering certain cold ones not to be beer. Seeing as Homestar Runner and Strong Bad are STILL IN SCHOOL, I don't think TBC would encourage such behavior. Going back to the screensaver reference: it could be that make is an alcoholic make of cold ones. One more factor that sways me toward cold ones not being alcoholic is that in personal favorites, Strong Bad got drunk off of soy sauce (which does have alcohol). The TBC don't seem to be too concerned about influencing children with this website. In [[Dangeresque]], you can clearly see a discarded cigarette on Dangeresque's desk, still smoking, implying that he had earlier been smoking. In addition, there have been multiple references to The Cheat's nicotine addiction. If they can talk about smoking, why not talk about alcohol too? Say the equivlant of 90°F is 30°C. If you leave a bottle of beer outside during 30°C weather, eventually the beer will warm up to the same temperature (actually, less since beer has a higher density thus will allow less heat to be caught). But, the beer will not burn you're skin if you get in on yourself. Thus, asusming that TBC work with fahrenheit since they are american, the beer would not be scorching. Spas, for instance, revolve around the whole concept of immersing your WHOLE BODY in water that is over 100°F, and nobody is scalded by properly-functioning spas. I think you're hung up on objects that have been sitting in the sun too long - these are MUCH hotter than the surrounding air because of the heat they've absorbed from the sunlight, but they cool down slower than air (something that's been sitting in the shade all day on a hot day will not be all that hot, will it? == British Preference ==

As a Brit, I'm don't think the inference that the British prefer beer served at room temperature is correct. It may be derived from the fact that heavy beers were traditionally served retaining the natural warmth accumulated during the brewing process, but I have never seen this observed anywhere today, certainly not in pubs and nor is this convention unique to Britain. Moreover, Guiness, arguably the most famous brand of heavy beer, comes in an 'Extra-cold' variety (I'm not awrae if this is available in other countries). Judging by colour, Cold-Ones appear to be larger-type beer and I should point out that larger has always been served chilled in Britain. As evdence of what I'm disputing, I would refer to the film 'Shaun of the Dead', which is regarded by many as depicting very typical British attitudes. At one point, a character apologises to the protaganist that his beer (which is a heavy beer) may be warm as the power to the coolers has been cut off.
At the very least, the article should be edited to point out that this alleged preference is a perceived notion rather than an accurate observation. -Grover Junior

*The meteors in level 5 cause the game to lag for a split second when they crash. This is of course done on purpose to emulate how easy it is to put stress on older game systems.
*On the first cutscene of level 6, the game that stinkoman is playing is the 5th level of Stinkoman 20X6. You can hear the level 5 music, the dying sound, the game over music and stinkoman saying that not even a 200 year old could beat the game, pointing out that stinkoman is bad at video games.
*This is the first new game not to use some sort of scoring system.

* The manual has Kolkaryu listed under level 2, but Kolkaryu already appears in level 1.
* The manual has Old Sage listed under level 2, but Old Sages already appear in level 1.
* Greggo will not stop or become indestructable unless you are parallel to him.
**Note: this was done on purpose to make it possible to destroy it. fire and then quickly jump or vice versa to kill it.
* Level 3 is called "Dumb Wall" on the level select screen, but it's called "Up 'n' Down" in the instruction manual.
* In Level 1 in the manual, the original version said "face treats" instead of "fave treats."
* In the manual, Level 3 is the only part to have its title constantly on the top of the page. All of the other Levels' titles disappear after the first page.
*In Episode 4, when Stinkoman is facing to the right, his giant fist powerup is a left hand but when he turns around the fingers are still facing the player so it turns into a right hand. This "sprite mirroring" is common in older games to conserve memory. A notable exception is Metroid, in which Samus is always right handed.
*When v4 (Level 6) was first put up, The Brothers Chaps forgot to update the [[Stinkomanual]] to include Level 6.

* When the game was first released, you could skip (press space or click) the first part of the final movie (any part before the MORE LEVELS TO COME SCENE) to enter stage 3.4. It was the Stlunko arena without Stlunko: a slightly elevated platform above the ground with two Pooru-Poorus on either side. You could continue traveling rightwards into a barren land before reaching an endless cliff.
**This glitch is now fixed. However, if you play the swf you can still play 3.4
**This again happened in level 4 when it was first released. However, this glitch has been fixed as well.
***Also, if you die once on level 4.4 there will be no ground when you return.
* When you run right and jump, you will flip as if you were running left and jumping.
* If you fall long enough and don't touch anything, Stinkoman will stop doing his falling pose and act like he's standing and will even start to yawn. Such a long fall can be found in stage 2.2.
* You can float in mid-air on level 1.1 if you land on the right spot next to the gray pole close to the beginning, or if a Browntant hits you while you're falling against it.

* If you jump at the right time at the end of a level, you can do your victory pose in midair.
* If you die with only one life left after defeating a boss, the usual "die" sequence will happen, but then Stinkoman will do his victory dance with no ground beneath him and you will start the next stage with no lives, which will increase by one life and the "Game Over" screen will appear the next time he dies in the next stage.
* Sometimes you can start up a new game and it will be nothing but Stinkoman and the background. Since there's no ground, you can only fall and die. This may be linked to older versions of Flash.
** A possible reason that this happens is because earlier versions of Flash may not be able to read the levelData xml files. For more information on these files, please see the talk page.
*Not exactly a glitch, but when Stinkoman is about to yawn, his sprite character moves down one pixel.
*There is a spot in level 2.1 where you can fall between a refrigerator and an adjacent stove, and not be able to jump back up.

*In the beginning of level 2.2, there's a Terrell just behind a refrigerator. It seems that it's possible for the Terrell to get "stuck" just to the right of the fridge. It will continue to hop up and down (without moving horizontally at all), and Stinkoman can pass through the Terrell without becoming injured. It also becomes impossible to kill. I've only been able to reproduce this behavior once, on version 1.3.
*The Terrell on level 2.1 can get stuck too(the one above the second burner).
*In level 1.1, if you don't kill the Jaro by the first wall and instead just go past it and the wall under the second browntant, the Jaro will be jumping in mid-air.
*If you use a seek bar, then it is possible to access level Undefined.Undefined. This level is just a grey hole, which Stinkoman is doomed to fall down. Stinkoman's MANS are always either 8, or not there. Regardless, after he falls down once, the game over screen appears. The music is from the boss levels, and Stinkoman even shouts "Are you asking for a challenge?" as you enter. The items counter is also shown, as it is in level 3.1. It even has the "Try level" screen!

*In level 4.2, if a and s are pressed at the same time as you're falling into the level from the left, Stinkoman will float instead of walk.

*In level 4.2, if you approach a Pink Cham Cham from the left and see only the left side of it as it fires, when you approach towards the right to see the rest of it, it will only have fired the laser on the left side.
*While you fight the boss in Level 3.3, and you get hit and killed by him towards the right side(if you stand all the way on the right, he won't be able to hit you) the level will restart with no ground below you
**Also, when this occurs, and there is no ground, you can jump if you press the key at the very beginning of the level
*Any damage you took as Stinkoman in levels 3 and 4 will remain on 1-Up in level 5, even though they're not the same person.
*If you die at the beginning of 5.2 before the ship at the top flies by, it will fly by on the Keep Try screen.
**To try this out, get yourself down to one Energy before leaving 5.1
***This also happens on level 5.1.
*This has only happened on level 3. This only happens when Stinkoman has only one energy left and the boss has only one hit to die. If you strike the boss, killing it, but it strikes you at the same time, the die sequence will happen, but soon after the cut scene will play. The next level, you will start out with no energy and will have had one life go down.
**(Note:Since you have no energy, you will die on the next hit.)
*When 1-Up is on a ladder, if he kicks left or right, his leg bends backwards and his foot is upside-down.
*A jaro on one of the conveyor belts on level 5.1 can go behind the wall.

** The sprites used for Stinkoman are patterned after 8-bit ''Mega Man'' sprites, and the same applies to the enemy Poorbt and Astromund.
** In fact, the poses of the [[Videlectrix Mascot]] in the logo are taken directly from the NES ''Mega Man'' series.
** The sounds of the text appearing in the cinematics are also the same as in ''Mega Man''.
***The chime noise for the main menu is taken from the first ''Mega Man X'' game.
** In ''Mega Man V'', there is a chicken robot similar to the chickens encountered in level 2.
** When Stinkoman says that the large gray fist could be a new powerup and takes off with it, this is an obvious reference to Mega Man taking the power of defeated bosses.
** At the start of the first side-scrolling stage the little theme played is very similar to the old ''Mega Man'' starting theme. In fact, the whole soundtrack was probably meant to sound like ''Mega Man'' game music.
** Stinkoman being unable to clear the wall using his normal jump is also a joke from ''Mega Man''.
** When all three characters flash onto the screen during the intro, that is also a ''Mega Man'' reference, where in one of the arcade games (namely ''Mega Man: The Power Battles'') Mega Man, Proto Man, and Bass would flash onto the screen in a similar way.
**The spikes that can kill Stinkoman instantly (Old Sage) are a reference to similar spikes which were placed under moving platforms in Mega Man games and which would also kill Mega Man instantly.
** The dropping platforms are a reference to the original ''Mega Man'', in which similar platforms were found in Guts Man's stage.
**In one portion of level 5.2, if you jump off of the top of a platform, you will see a planet that has a C-shaped portion on its left side. This portion bears a striking similarity to the stylized C in the title of "Chrono Trigger".
** Only three of Stinkoman's flying fists can be on the screen at the same time. In the ''Mega Man'' series, Mega Man's bullets also suffer from the same drawbacks. Even in Level 4, Stinkoman can only drop three clusters of rocks onscreen when pounding his giant fist.

** Greggos are similar to Mettaurs (also known as Metools, Mets, or Hard Hats), who were also invincible while ducking.

* The first boss, Tampo, is similiar to the final boss of ''Star Fox 64'', which was the giant, floating brain of Andross, which had the same weak point (medulla).
* The phrase "Table the Label" is from a hilariously bad motivational video hosted by Mr. T called "[http://www.agonybooth.com/mr_t/ Be Somebody or be Somebody's Fool!]"
* The manual mentioning this game has no "weepy princess crap" is a reference to the Super Mario series, the Legend of Zelda series, and a few other games where you had to rescue a helpless princess.

*The beginning of level 5 has "Stinkoman HQ" at the beginning. This is a likely reference to the Mega Man X series, which had cutscenes shot at Maverick Hunters HQ. You can also see Stinkoman sitting for no reason and 1-Up standing for no reason - kind of like seeing Dr. Cain and Mega Man X.
*The fact that Gaspeau (red) and Frotzer (blue) are almost the same exact enemies may be a reference to the old Zelda games where an enemy could be red or blue and that the blue version of the enemy was always harder.
*The "pink cloud zone" in level 6 could be a reference to countless video games with cloud zones, but is most likely to Earthbound, where the Your Sanctuary location in Dalaam is called Pink Cloud.
**The "pink cloud zone" is also likely a reference to the original "Sonic the Hedghog" video games, where the levels are all called "zones".
*The Tornado Boss could be a reference to Super Mario Bros. 2 where the boss of the 4th level was a flame wearing sunglasses called "Fryguy", along with the fat mouse refering to the first boss, "Mouser". The bubble sprite used for its attack looks like the same sprite used for Wart's attack in Super Mario Bros. 2.
*Firey-Hot is a lot like the fire coming out of the cannons in the airship levels on Super Mario Bros. 3.
*Gaspeau's decription in the Stinkomanual "In like a lion and out like a Gaspeau" refers to the saying, "In like a lion, out like a lamb."

I've always known them as "Fudgesicles", although that is a registered trademark of Good Humor. Note that, whatever you call them, they are not lolliops. A lollipop is made of hard candy, not frozen chocolate pudding. However, a quick google search reveals that there really is such a thing as chocolate lollipops, though these are also significantly different from other lollipops. Tootsie also makes a chocolate flavored tootsie roll pop(which already has a chocolate center).

Anyone else think Strong Sad acts out of character in this toon? I mean he normally doesn't act like someone who'd care too much about underwear.

*I don't understand how you can not care if someone individually priced and auctioned off your underwear. As far as being attached to a specific pair of underdrawers, Strong Sad seems to have uncommonly strong feelings about inanimate objects.
