Talk:Marzipan's Answering Machine Version 8.0

Mandi Sue:

*WPKG is a real radio station based in Neillsville, Wisconsin. The number is 92.7 and the genre is "Nostalgia." Cornbread hour indeed.

== Cornbread... ==

They've mentioned Cornbread in "A Decemberween Pageant" too. Does this qualify as an inside joke?

:Um... it might be, but i think its just random talk. {{User:Bubsty/sig}}
==unlimited supply==
one thing that you could put down as "remarks" is that strong bad says that marzipan has won an "unlimited supply" of one million punches in the face. since one million is a set number, it's not unlimited.

:Funny thing, someone added that the other day but it was removed. Their wording was:
<blockquote>Since Strong Bad quantifies the number of punches in the face Marzipan is to receive (one million), it would not be an unlimited supply.</blockquote>
:How do you like that wording?[[User:Tom|<nowiki></nowiki>]] -- [[User:Tom|Tom]] 05:30, 26 Sep 2005 (UTC)

==Ron or are on?==

I always thought homestar said "Sweepstakes are on," not "Sweepstakes Ron." Anyone else agree? {{User:Bubsty/sig}} 23:36, 30 Sep 2005 (UTC)

:I clearly hear "Sweepstakes Ron". This also makes sense in context, as Homestar is talking on the phone to someone he believes to be a radio host. It would make sense for Homestar to address this person and then question why Ron isn't responding.[[User:Tom|<nowiki></nowiki>]] -- [[User:Tom|Tom]] 03:24, 1 Oct 2005 (UTC)

:Ok, whateva. {{User:Bubsty/sig}} 20:31, 1 Oct 2005 (UTC)

== The Cornbread hour ==

I know this isn't a fun fact, but I'll post it here anyway. In Saint Louis the radio station [http://www.wil92.com/ 92.3 WIL] there is a moring show called the [http://www.cornbreadshow.com/home.asp Cornbread Show]. I don't know, I just thought this was funny.--{{User:bkmlb/sig}} 01:17, 1 Oct 2005 (UTC)
:Think its a coinidence or not? {{User:Bubsty/sig}} 18:04, 11 December 2005 (UTC)
It reminds me of the King biscuit flour hour. [[User:Elvis|Elvis]] 21:23, 25 April 2006 (UTC)
:Hmmm... Me too. --{{User:The thing/sig}} 21:28, 25 April 2006 (UTC)

==Messiogio==

Did Marzipan say "messiagio" or "messiogio?"

==The Cheat?!==
Why does the Cheat walk past the answering machine at the beginning of the last message (Homestar's message)?
