* The very first deleted email (a [[Hairstyle Runner]] design) was in [[homestar hair]]. Strong Bad typed "delete that crap," instead of DELETED!!
* In the email [[spring cleaning]], Strong Bad DELETES every email he receives (they wouldn't have made good email material anyway).
* In the email [[sisters]], the email he tries to DELETED ends up being "saved forever" and an email he was trying to reply to was DELETED, thanks to the [[Strong Bad's Computer Malfunctioning|malfunctioning]] Tandy.
* In [[50 emails]], when he types "matt = DELETED!", he got the "MATT!!" response, but it was still deleted.
* In [[replacement]], when [[Coach Z]] tried to say his best DELETED, he instead said "DELORTED!" because of his "accent". The computer flashed "DELORTED!!," the buzzing noise became distorted, and the screen turned greenish-yellow instead of blue.
* [[The Virus]] prevented Strong Bad from deleting the offending email in the Strong Bad Email, "virus." He got the "NICE TRY!" response on his first attempt, and he got the "NOTTA CHANCE!!" response on his second.
* In [[labor day]], when Strong Bad doesn't show up to the Labor Day party, [[Strong Sad]] makes a funny joke by wondering if his invitation was DELETED!!
* In "[[unused emails]]", Strong Bad begins a running gag in which he "winds up" and delivers a large, louder "DELETED!!" He attempts to do this again in "[[car]]," but [[Homestar Runner]] saves the email from a tired old Strong Bad joke and is rewarded with a punch in the face.
* Homestar attempts (and spectacularly fails) to perform the "DELETED!" gag in [[50 emails]]. He tries: BALEETED! DELTEATED! Del Taco? (see [[50 emails]] for complete, long list) A while later, it ends up in a flagrant error.
* In [[huttah!]] Strong Bad says "Moving on!" on the third email he answered and the computer flashed "MOVING ON!!" when it was deleted.

'''Homestar Runner RPG''' is the first official console game for [[Homestar Runner (Flash cartoon)|Homestarrunner.com]]. It is currently under development for the [[Wikipedia:Atari 2600|Atari 2600]] by Paul Slocum.

Gamers will be able to play as [[Homestar Runner]], [[Homsar]], or [[Strong Sad]] and possibly [[Marzipan]] and [[Coach Z]] against the villain [[Strong Bad]] and possibly [[The Cheat]] and [[Strong Mad]] in a traditional swords and sorcery RPG. The enemies will include those from other games in the Atari family. The map will be large, with the map of comparable size to the early computer RPGs. Gameplay will be turn-based with lots of mini-games and story text with codes given to "save" game.

The game will be released in an Atari 2600 cartridge for the dedicated old-school gamer, and as a downloadable ROM for systems with an emulator.

On January 4th, 2005 the developer published this statement:
<blockquote>"The game's on hold for a while. I'm too busy with my band and other
projects to work on it right now, but I do plan to return to it when
I can. Sorry it's taking so long, but that's life."</blockquote>

It now seems like it may never materialize, as [[Matt Chapman]] said this in an interview on September 5th, 2005:
<blockquote>I think it's— it's sort of in limbo...I think it was really pushing the limits of what the 2600 could do, especially with an RPG. So I think he was getting a little overwhelmed. He realized that all the work he had done, which was, you know, hours and hours and hours, amounted to like 2% of what the game would finally be. And so he just kinda— I think he kinda freaked out. So he kinda— he was on hold on that for awhile, but he did say that he— he's— he's willing to look into some uh, other 2600 projects that are a little more, you know, within the normal 2600 realm. Not necessarily trying to, uh— I think that's gonna be his opus, and so the Homestar Runner was sort of just being applied to it. He could make an RPG that really didn't have to be Homestar Runner or not. So uh, so uh, I hope he makes it someday 'cause— 'cause I would love to play an RPG on the 2600 for sure.</blockquote>

Paul Slocum is also the author of the [http://www.qotile.net/synth.html Synthcart] and [http://www.qotile.net/cynthcart.html Cynthcart] program cartridges for the Atari 2600 and Commodore 64, which allow people to create music on these consoles without hardware or software modification. Additionally, he is half of the recently formed music duo [http://www.treewave.com/index.html Tree Wave], which uses computer and videogame hardware of the 1970s and 80s, the above-mentioned programs, and female vocals to create pop-sounding tunes.
