It all started back in April. Or May. Or... anytime in between March and June. I was playing Supra Smash Bross. and looking at the Fantendo wiki entry for it. One character that I never heard of (and there were a lot -- Myrio, Luee-G, Lilac... the list goes on!) was Homestar Runner (or as the announcer pronounced it, Who Am Eh Star Row Nerd). I decided to look up Homestar Runner (as the wiki and game text called him) and found the website. I watched the intro, and when it was done, Main Page 5 showed up. I went to 'First Time Here?' and afterwards watched 'A Jorb Well Done' and played 'Homestar Talker'.

**The katakana spell "Kikku", the Japanized version of "Kick".
*After collecting the photographic evidence, when the camera is used on an item in the room Dangeresque says he won't take another picture because he's "only gots one instant shot left", but when the camera is used on the window he says he's "outta film".
*Strong Bad does not look as short next to The Chief as he does next to the people in the "Behind The Bad" shorts.
*The only time you need to manually move Strong Bad is if he's on the opposite side of the desk.
*You can also use the numpad to move, even diagonally, much like the classic Sierra games.

===Fixed Goofs===
*The Videlectrix main page initially linked to [[HR:roomisode1.html|roomisode1.html]] upon release. This was fixed within a few minutes.
*During the beginning of the game, when Dangeresque talks to The Chief, one of his speech bubbles misspelled "business" as "buisness".

===Glitches===
*The safe-combination note is semitransparent and in front of Dangeresque, so when walking over the safe-combination note, its color changes to whatever color is behind it.
*While using the numpad to move, sometimes moving diagonally will make Dangeresque walk backwards.
*If you use the take-out package with the blinds, but Strong Bad is not near the window at the time, Strong Bad will reach into the air in his current location, and the take-out will magically appear on the window-sill. If you do the same with other inventory items or open/close the blinds when you are not near the window, Strong Bad will walk over to the window before this animation occurs.
*You can walk Dangeresque into the desk if you walk up into it near the bottom-left corner.
*If you keep repeatedly clicking to use the un-solved stamp on the case file it will cause the animation to glitch and reset and even cause the file to become marked solved with the stamp mark in the center of the page.
*If you try to get the takeout when it's on the blinds, the game will hang.

===Fixed Glitches===
*Looking at the rug when the glowing ink is visible would previously earn points each time attempted.
**Looking at or using the take-out before having it dislodged could also be repeated for additional points.
*Placing the whoozit last would prevent the player from finishing the game.
*If you inked the stamp, then pounded the desk again, another stamp would appear in the drawer.
*Placing the inked rubber stamp in the window and then closing the desk drawer used to make the stamp disappear. Reopening the drawer then made it reappear. Attempting to retrieve the stamp replayed the stamp-getting sequence. (The stamp did not reappear on the window sill until re-inked.) This caused two stamps (one inked, one dry) in the inventory at once. These actions also earned points each time they were completed, thus one was able to achieve a score over 170. However, once placed and disappeared, the blinds could not be closed again and Strong Bad was also unable to put anything new on the window sill.
*Clicking on the switch while below the chair formerly caused the game to hang.
*Originally, after spinning the chair the first time and uncovering the biz card, the card would briefly appear a second time as Strong Bad was hopping off the chair.

:Sure, there's a lot of post-modern/post-punk bands that will use upside down or reversed logos to go along with an unconventional image. Most famously is [[Wikipedia:Nine Inch Nails|Nine Inch Nails]]'s logo. KMFDM released an ep titled [[Wikipedia: MDFMK (single)|MDFMK]]. R.E.M.'s 1985 album [[Wikipedia: Fables of the Reconstruction|''Fables Of The Reconstruction'']] is written in a circle on the LP, so it could also be read ''Reconstruction Of The Fables''. This is a case where it's not referring to a specific logo, more of a general attitude. Let's sort this out once and for all: what genre is sloshy? Personally, I'm 100% certain they're Alternative Rock. They have all the stereotypes of the genre: No lead guitarist, glasses, little mainstream success until the death of Hair Metal, short hair, no costumes, electric guitar solos, songs with weird titles that aren't about girls/Los Angeles/good times. The list goes on. Furthermore, the appearance of [[Limozeen: "but they're in space!"]] validates my theory: in the episode, they were knocked off the charts by an alternative rock band who had short hair and glasses. Then, Strong Bad throws the remote at Strong Sad "for you and your kind destroying metal!". sloshy, a band which Strong Sad is a fan of, must therefore also be alternative rock. Plus, sloshy can be compared to [[They Might Be Giants]], and we all know about the close relationship between the band and the website. :Well I guess I consider all the trappings you speak of the be more associated with Indie Rock than Alternative Rock. To me Alternative Rock (capital A, capital R) went mainstream around 92/93 and that tag came to mean something other than alternative rock (small a, small r). While the same thing may happen to the indie tag I think that the sort of underground, small club, pitchfork appearing, college radio band that sloshy is a caricature of is better called indie rock (the Pavement comparison is fitting I think). For that matter I would never think to call They Might Be Giants Alternative Rock, only dads in their 40's would make that mistake. They are clearly indie pop...clearly. I have a theory, leading from this picture I believe the guy who is turned around talking to the bassist is the drummer, then the guy driving is the keyboardist. I think that because Strong Bad says that they strung a bunch of christmas lights on the bass drum which would mean that they would have to be able to see the drummer. So that leaves the Keyboardist and bassist, but if you rember Strong Bad was wondering if the Bassists sungalsses lenses fell out so he would have had to of seen him clearly. So that just leaves the key boardist, now I think that because if TBC are running the same gag as we are to never see his face then that would make him be the keyboardist. That's just my idea though.

I don't know if you guys understand what types of sounds instruments make, but there are obviously no keayboards in any of sloshy's music. Just because they say there isn't any lead guitarist doesn't mean there's no guitarist at all. I picture the general stage presece of the band as:

The guy with glasses is the bassist. The guy in the black shirt is the drummer. The guy in the flannel is the guitarist who is turned away from the audience. The vocal duties are really up in the air, unless we want to try and compare the song vocal tracks with the voices in the easter egg.

== The Cure ==
I don't realy know if i added this in right, but it has to be said. sloshy reminds me of my favourite band the cure. the vocalist is a token Robert smith, and prety much sings exactly how he does (british accent, repeative lyrics, the song ending are also very similar). early in the seris stong sad was a fan of the cure (poster); my theory is that sloshy is a more alternative reinvention of the group.

His singing style is nothing like robert smith who had a slightly higher voice and used harmonization alot, And sloshy is the type of band who uses distortion alot as opposed to the Cure which tended more toward clean guitars with choruses and flangers and such. Sloshy is almost a direct parody of Pavement (look up their website and download one of their free songs.) I know The Cure used distortion every once in a while but sloshy is more the type who would use it all the time. :Sure, there's a lot of post-modern/post-punk bands that will use upside down or reversed logos to go along with an unconventional image. Most famously is [[Wikipedia:Nine Inch Nails|Nine Inch Nails]]'s logo. KMFDM released an ep titled [[Wikipedia: MDFMK (single)|MDFMK]]. R.E.M.'s 1985 album [[Wikipedia: Fables of the Reconstruction|''Fables Of The Reconstruction'']] is written in a circle on the LP, so it could also be read ''Reconstruction Of The Fables''. This is a case where it's not referring to a specific logo, more of a general attitude. == Name that Genre ==

Let's sort this out once and for all: what genre is sloshy? Personally, I'm 100% certain they're Alternative Rock. They have all the stereotypes of the genre: No lead guitarist, glasses, little mainstream success until the death of Hair Metal, short hair, no costumes, electric guitar solos, songs with weird titles that aren't about girls/Los Angeles/good times. The list goes on. Furthermore, the appearance of [[Limozeen: "but they're in space!"]] validates my theory: in the episode, they were knocked off the charts by an alternative rock band who had short hair and glasses. Then, Strong Bad throws the remote at Strong Sad "for you and your kind destroying metal!". sloshy, a band which Strong Sad is a fan of, must therefore also be alternative rock. Plus, sloshy can be compared to [[They Might Be Giants]], and we all know about the close relationship between the band and the website. :Well I guess I consider all the trappings you speak of the be more associated with Indie Rock than Alternative Rock. To me Alternative Rock (capital A, capital R) went mainstream around 92/93 and that tag came to mean something other than alternative rock (small a, small r). While the same thing may happen to the indie tag I think that the sort of underground, small club, pitchfork appearing, college radio band that sloshy is a caricature of is better called indie rock (the Pavement comparison is fitting I think). For that matter I would never think to call They Might Be Giants Alternative Rock, only dads in their 40's would make that mistake. They are clearly indie pop...clearly. There is plenty of precedent for this within their genre. The evidence in favor is that the title is 4 times longer than any other explicitly known title. But even if it were one of the songs listed on the album, it's not 100% clear which it would be. "ok fine" would be the best guess.

I have a theory, leading from this picture I believe the guy who is turned around talking to the bassist is the drummer, then the guy driving is the keyboardist. I think that because Strong Bad says that they strung a bunch of christmas lights on the bass drum which would mean that they would have to be able to see the drummer. So that leaves the Keyboardist and bassist, but if you rember Strong Bad was wondering if the Bassists sungalsses lenses fell out so he would have had to of seen him clearly. So that just leaves the key boardist, now I think that because if TBC are running the same gag as we are to never see his face then that would make him be the keyboardist. That's just my idea though.

I don't know if you guys understand what types of sounds instruments make, but there are obviously no keayboards in any of sloshy's music. Just because they say there isn't any lead guitarist doesn't mean there's no guitarist at all. I picture the general stage presece of the band as:

The guy with glasses is the bassist. The guy in the black shirt is the drummer. The guy in the flannel is the guitarist who is turned away from the audience. The vocal duties are really up in the air, unless we want to try and compare the song vocal tracks with the voices in the easter egg.

And that's just staying within the realm of alternative. American punk is rife with vocalists who very intentionally effect a [[Wikipedia:Cockney|cockney]] accent for some sort of perceived "cred". I don't realy know if i added this in right, but it has to be said. sloshy reminds me of my favourite band the cure. the vocalist is a token Robert smith, and prety much sings exactly how he does (british accent, repeative lyrics, the song ending are also very similar). early in the seris stong sad was a fan of the cure (poster); my theory is that sloshy is a more alternative reinvention of the group.

Much of sloshy's performance style, if not particularly their musical style, sounds like a sterotypical parody of shoegazing. Sloshy is almost a direct parody of Pavement (look up their website and download one of their free songs.) I know The Cure used distortion every once in a while but sloshy is more the type who would use it all the time. You know, I think that this is just how Strong Bad imagines Senor Cardgage ending up. That would explain why he looks like Creepy Comb-over Strong Bad, and also why the Visor Robot is there, seeing as how the Visor Robot's only other appearances have been fictitious and have been created by Strong Bad and The Cheat(Strong Bad imagined him in [[Homestarloween Party]], he drew him in [[Teen Girl Squad Issue 1]], and The Cheat animated him in [[Everybody to the Limit]].)

Another fun fact that got changed is, "Senor Cardgage calls the robot Valerie because of his habit of treating everyone like females, even though they're not, as Creepy Comb-over Strong Bad does in [[kind of cool]]." As [[User:Jay|Jay]] mentioned, we'd decided not to use the term "Creepy Comb-Over Strong Bad" and so he changed it to "he". The only places on the wiki that still use that term are the kind of cool and [[Senor Cardgage]] page. The transcript for kind of cool uses "Creepy Comb-Over Strong Bad" because it's been written from a standpoint that was supposed to be taken in 2003. After who knows how long, we finally get a toon! This truly is a D-Ween Mackerel!
On to Bweeze-Ness. Here are some things I have noticed.
*On the Main Page it says "New Holiday Toon", and when hovered over it says "For real!"
*When Cardgage is "revived" he makes the same shine and noise as when "Eh, Steve!'s mouth exploded the universe" in Cactus Coffee and the No Tell Hotel"
*Non specific mouthwash and the guy who says I'm going to need you to sign this makes fun of people being sued for using product names.
*Marzipan and Homestar both sung a modified version of O, Decemberween.
*Strong Sad being locked in the tub is a reference to other D-Ween toons.
*This toon constantly references Cardgage's death. And hints at Homsar's
*When Marzipan and Homestar are walking at the beginning, Homestar has footsteps and Marzi is leaving a solid trail, again hinting she is just a mass in a dress shape
*When Cardgage comes out of the bush, he makes the same traffic noise as in his FBI warning and Hremail 3184
*Coach Z is wearing a Blubb-Os box.
*The Bubs scene could be an instance of duplicate characters.

==Instructions==
The object of the game is to find an egg that one of the suspects is hiding. The task is a variation of the [[Wikipedia:Knights and Knaves|Knights and Knaves]] puzzle, in which suspects either always lie or always tell the truth. After you think you know who or where an egg is, you go to that location and shoot the suspect, who will give up an egg if you have guessed correctly.

After clicking on the title screen, you are presented with several locations in a city. Clicking on the thumbnails will take you to those locations, at which you will encounter a suspect with an item. From the menu at the bottom of the screen, you can choose one of any of the items or suspects you've encountered. When you choose an item, the suspect will tell you the location where that item can be found or the suspect who has it. When you choose a suspect from your menu, the character on the screen will tell you where that suspect can be found or what item they have. Once again, they may or may not be telling the truth.

There are three other notable replies you may receive. If you ask a suspect about himself or about the items he carries, he will respond with a [[Wikipedia:smiley|smiley face]]. If you ask a suspect about anything after shooting him, he will respond with a red cross. Also, if you ask a suspect about an egg and he replies with a question mark, he does not have any information about the location of an egg.

== Strategy ==
Since a given suspect either always lies or always tells the truth, their reply about the location of an egg can be tested by asking them questions to which you know the answer. For example, if they give you information about an egg, you can ask them about an item and verify that the location or suspect with which they reply indeed corresponds to that item. If the answer they give is correct, then the location of an egg that they give is correct as well.

The above method can be modified by first asking about the first person or item you have seen, then if the suspect answers correctly, ask about an egg. Continue asking all the suspects the same question until you find a person who gives a correct answer and knows about an egg. If none are found, revisit your first person and ask about an egg. Then simply find the culprit and shoot them.

In some cases, a lying suspect may reveal themselves as such by giving the same answer for two different questions (e.g., suggesting that two different characters have a potted plant) or, due to a programming error, even answering with their own face when questioned about a different item.

Another strategy is to ask every suspect the location of an egg until you have two replies that agree. In that case, it is likely, though not certain, that the suspect they incriminate indeed has an egg.

In order to keep accurate track of which person matches which object, just quickly visit all of the locations before asking anyone a question. This will cause each person and their object to appear in the same order at the bottom of the screen. Once you have visited all locations, start asking each person where an egg is. Once you find someone who replies, figure out if they are a truth-teller or a liar by seeing if their responses properly match up people to their object. If they are a truth-teller, move on to asking about an egg. If they tell the truth, you know who has an egg.

However, one haphazard strategy is to simply shoot three random people. This gives a 1 in 3 chance of winning, with no real effort.

In [[Doomy Tales of the Macabre]] I don't think Homestar really transformes into Coach Z, Coach Z is just replacing Homestar as Marzipan's boyfriend. So later Homestar becomes macrame as his own fate meaning there isn't duplicated characters.

In [[A Decemberween Pageant]] Strong Mad's hands can be seen moving the set of waves on the left but i don't see his hands on the right set of waves and someone else could be controlling the other set of waves. Also even if we saw two sets of Strong Mad's hands since we wouldn't really see two full Strong Mad's should it still count?

It all started back in April. Or May. Or... anytime in between March and June. I was playing Supra Smash Bross. and looking at the Fantendo wiki entry for it. One character that I never heard of (and there were a lot -- Myrio, Luee-G, Lilac... the list goes on!) was Homestar Runner (or as the announcer pronounced it, Who Am Eh Star Row Nerd). I decided to look up Homestar Runner (as the wiki and game text called him) and found the website. I watched the intro, and when it was done, Main Page 5 showed up. I went to 'First Time Here?' and afterwards watched 'A Jorb Well Done' and played 'Homestar Talker'.
