Um...that deletion log makes me feel...jibblified, but...heres-a I-a go-a! Is there really that much of a chance that the whole "foxface being a Japanese term" is what TBC were trying to refer to? I think it's far more likely that they combined the good old American "foxy" with "-face" and got "Foxface". I mean, I'm in Japanese studies and Japanese language with an actual immigrant sensei, not to mention reading tons of books on Japanese slang terms, and, uh...I've never heard of "foxface" as a term, though I definitely know it's a popular look: ganguro do it, certainly, just like the tons of other girls' fashion trends before. I'm willing to bet that TBC probably hadn't heard of it, either...unless they read this wiki page.

'''Charles Gunhaver''' is the erstwhile leader of the [[Cheat Commandos]]. Among his mission credits are leading an action figure storage vehicle attack on [[Blue Laser]], leading a search party to uncover Blue Laser's [[secret desert headquarters]], and staving off the danger of Blue Laser saving money at [[Price Style]]. Certain parts of the cartoon [[Let us give TANKS!]] strongly suggest that the rest of the Cheat Commandos regard Gunhaver as possibly ''too'' enthusiastic about his duties. He makes a cameo in an Easter egg in [[Teen Girl Squad Issue 7]]. A [[running gag]] surrounding him is people will usually [[Gunhaver's Name|flub his name]].

As his name (pronounced as "Gun Havver") and a claim on his box each suggest, Gunhaver has a [[Gunhaver's Gun|semi-automatic pistol]]. The gun was seen hanging on the wall and labeled by [[Reynold]] in [[Shopping for Danger]]. Gunhaver was actually shown brandishing it (to the astonishment of [[Blue Laser Commander]]) in "Let us give TANKS!". He relinquishes it to [[Flashfight]] in [[2 Part Episode: Part 1]].

Gunhaver is voiced by [[Crack Stuntman]], who has difficulty remembering his character's name, calling him such names as "Gun-hay-ver" and "the gun-shaver". According to [[The Next Epi-Snowed]], Crack Stuntman often attempts to change his character's lines and introduce odd and self-serving turns into the story. For example, Gunhaver's (and the Cheat Commandos') [[catch phrase]] is "[[Rock rock on!]]", but in [[An Important Rap Song]], Gunhaver says it is now "Riggidy roll!".

After growing tired of Stuntman's demands, [[A. Chimendez]] sent Gunhaver on "a secret mission to the moon for an undisclosed period of time" and "when he gets back his voice might have changed". Crack was given his job back in [[Pistols for Pandas]], however.

Gunhaver was the leader of the Cheat Commandos until he was relieved of his command by [[Flashfight]] in [[2 Part Episode: Part 1]]. He then went to work for Jaded Teen Pizza with [[Silent Rip]] and [[Crackotage]] under the management of [[Reynold's brother]], but the three quit and went to run their own restaurant, [[Kitchen Commandos]], which closed after three months.

Gunhaver's first name was revealed by Blue Laser commander in "Let us give TANKS!" after he asked Gunhaver to play a song. It wasn't used again until Reynold's brother reprimanded him in "2 Part Episode: Part 1".

Gunhaver is a direct parody of [[Wikipedia:Duke (G.I. Joe)|Duke]] and [[Wikipedia:Hawk (G.I. Joe)|Gen. Hawk]] from ''G.I. I was looking at the wiki page on the Gunhaver and I think there is a little wrong info concerning the Cheat Commando leader:

"Gunhaver is a direct parody of Duke from GI Joe, complete with a John Payne voice."

I think this is wrong because in some of the Commentaries TBC mentioned they based it on the old 80's Joe cartoons not the newer ones.

I think he looks more like Gen. Hawk (jacket) with a cowboy hat and the voice is closer to Peter Cullen (Optimus Prime). What do you think? OX, 13:17, 24 January 2010 (UTC)

It was just a pic I found on Google. I used MS Paint.

I actually sent an email to Strong Bad as HomeScar Rammer, threatening him to "leave my cousin alone" just to see how they would make him look. (Then I sent one with the pic.)
Then I just started to draw pictures of this (the first one was short & I was thinking about putting crescent horns on him)

I was trying to give him all of the things that strong Bad thinks is cool; "Bigg Nife", "Bad Things", "A gun sight on Strong Bad's face", and M.L.P. ....I wonder if I should tell what THAT is.

:Sure, there's a lot of post-modern/post-punk bands that will use upside down or reversed logos to go along with an unconventional image. Most famously is [[Wikipedia:Nine Inch Nails|Nine Inch Nails]]'s logo. KMFDM released an ep titled [[Wikipedia: MDFMK (single)|MDFMK]]. R.E.M.'s 1985 album [[Wikipedia: Fables of the Reconstruction|''Fables Of The Reconstruction'']] is written in a circle on the LP, so it could also be read ''Reconstruction Of The Fables''. This is a case where it's not referring to a specific logo, more of a general attitude. == Name that Genre ==

Let's sort this out once and for all: what genre is sloshy? Personally, I'm 100% certain they're Alternative Rock. They have all the stereotypes of the genre: No lead guitarist, glasses, little mainstream success until the death of Hair Metal, short hair, no costumes, electric guitar solos, songs with weird titles that aren't about girls/Los Angeles/good times. The list goes on. Furthermore, the appearance of [[Limozeen: "but they're in space!"]] validates my theory: in the episode, they were knocked off the charts by an alternative rock band who had short hair and glasses. Then, Strong Bad throws the remote at Strong Sad "for you and your kind destroying metal!". sloshy, a band which Strong Sad is a fan of, must therefore also be alternative rock. Plus, sloshy can be compared to [[They Might Be Giants]], and we all know about the close relationship between the band and the website. :Well I guess I consider all the trappings you speak of the be more associated with Indie Rock than Alternative Rock. To me Alternative Rock (capital A, capital R) went mainstream around 92/93 and that tag came to mean something other than alternative rock (small a, small r). While the same thing may happen to the indie tag I think that the sort of underground, small club, pitchfork appearing, college radio band that sloshy is a caricature of is better called indie rock (the Pavement comparison is fitting I think). For that matter I would never think to call They Might Be Giants Alternative Rock, only dads in their 40's would make that mistake. They are clearly indie pop...clearly. The Alternative/Indie Rock tag is fine with me, as with any of these sub genres peoples connotations for a tag will greatly influence what bands they thing fit that tag (emo anyone?). -Goodness Of Fit

But even if it were one of the songs listed on the album, it's not 100% clear which it would be. "ok fine" would be the best guess.

I have a theory, leading from this picture I believe the guy who is turned around talking to the bassist is the drummer, then the guy driving is the keyboardist. I think that because Strong Bad says that they strung a bunch of christmas lights on the bass drum which would mean that they would have to be able to see the drummer. So that leaves the Keyboardist and bassist, but if you rember Strong Bad was wondering if the Bassists sungalsses lenses fell out so he would have had to of seen him clearly. So that just leaves the key boardist, now I think that because if TBC are running the same gag as we are to never see his face then that would make him be the keyboardist. That's just my idea though.

I don't know if you guys understand what types of sounds instruments make, but there are obviously no keayboards in any of sloshy's music. Just because they say there isn't any lead guitarist doesn't mean there's no guitarist at all. I picture the general stage presece of the band as:

The guy with glasses is the bassist. The guy in the black shirt is the drummer. The guy in the flannel is the guitarist who is turned away from the audience. The vocal duties are really up in the air, unless we want to try and compare the song vocal tracks with the voices in the easter egg.

And that's just staying within the realm of alternative. American punk is rife with vocalists who very intentionally effect a [[Wikipedia:Cockney|cockney]] accent for some sort of perceived "cred". I don't realy know if i added this in right, but it has to be said. sloshy reminds me of my favourite band the cure. the vocalist is a token Robert smith, and prety much sings exactly how he does (british accent, repeative lyrics, the song ending are also very similar). early in the seris stong sad was a fan of the cure (poster); my theory is that sloshy is a more alternative reinvention of the group.

:The link to The Cure is very indirect at best. I would say it goes by way of [[Wikipedia:Shoegazing|shoegazing]]. Much of sloshy's performance style, if not particularly their musical style, sounds like a sterotypical parody of shoegazing. It was just a pic I found on Google. I used MS Paint.

I actually sent an email to Strong Bad as HomeScar Rammer, threatening him to "leave my cousin alone" just to see how they would make him look. (Then I sent one with the pic.)
Then I just started to draw pictures of this (the first one was short & I was thinking about putting crescent horns on him)

I was trying to give him all of the things that strong Bad thinks is cool; "Bigg Nife", "Bad Things", "A gun sight on Strong Bad's face", and M.L.P. ....I wonder if I should tell what THAT is.

It was just a pic I found on Google. I used MS Paint.

I actually sent an email to Strong Bad as HomeScar Rammer, threatening him to "leave my cousin alone" just to see how they would make him look. (Then I sent one with the pic.)
Then I just started to draw pictures of this (the first one was short & I was thinking about putting crescent horns on him)

I was trying to give him all of the things that strong Bad thinks is cool; "Bigg Nife", "Bad Things", "A gun sight on Strong Bad's face", and M.L.P. ....I wonder if I should tell what THAT is.

:Most programs allow you to save in PNG format. Do you have microsoft paint? It's a simple program, but that's the one I find myself usually using. Once you have the image you want in the paint program, press file, save, then when you get to the box where you type in the file name you want it saved as, you'll notice right below that you have a box labled "Save as type", with the default option usually being 24-bit bitmap. Open that drop down box, and one of the options, (probably the very last one) will be "PNG". Save as that, and it all comes out looking PNGful. Is there any sort of definition between "Appearances" and "Filmography" on a page? I noticed mostly it's [[Items|items]] that have "Appearances", whereas [[Characters|characters]] have "Filmography", which makes sense to me. Why I ask is if there's a difference, because I noticed a lot of [[Places|places]] have "Filmography". If you ask me, they should have "Appearances" because they're inanimate. "Filmography" sounds more like an acting thing, whereas "Appearances" sounds like an... appearing thing. :The lockdown means that anonymous users temporarily can no longer edit the Wiki. Also, no new users can register unless a sysop sets up an account for them. This happened because a vandal bot replaced several pages with the text "N---- STOLE MY COW!" at an extremely fast rate. We couldn't revert its edits and the sysops couldn't block the many usernames it was registering fast enough, so a lockdown was the only way we could stop it. :When a page has been trolled or had a bad edit made, the simplest way to change it back is to revert it. Each page has a history of every edit made to it, see. Up at the top, you'll notice a little tab marked "history" (it's the fourth from the left, usually). Click on that and it'll bring up a page of all the edits made to that page, most recent ones on the top. Find the version you want to change it back to and click the date for that version. This will bring that version up in the window for editing. Just type "reverted" or "rv" (or "rv/v" for vandalism) ito the edit summary box beneath it and hit "save page".
