:Thank you for pointing that out. However, I do not see how my {{User:Supuhstar/sig}} could be distracting. I read the rules well before making it, it spins relatively slowly, I have not had a complaint given to me by any other sysops or admins, and how can a spinning plaque be any more attention-getting than [[User:Trey56|Trey56]]'s signature with his flashing gateanim.gif picture. If it is about the glitch that occurs when minimizing the picture where it is outlined in black at the repeat point, I am currently working on a way to solve that problem, but have thus far been able to come up with any solutions. If you have any suggestions on how to fix this glitch without using a new type of anim, I will be more than happy to consider it.

::As far as Trey's signature is concerned, [http://mywebpages.comcast.net/shuster/cticons/gateanim.gif his image] used to pulse, but now it's static (or at least for me). I find your spinning logo severely distracting. You do not need to be get complaints from several sysops regarding your signature before you change it, as one (me) is enough. You are kindly asked to remove the animated image. If you want any ideas on what to put instead, I'd suggest a static version of the logo. ::::Hey there — I see that my name came up, so I thought I'd make a comment. E.L. Cool's absolutely right — animated images in signatures are strongly discouraged. After finding out about this a while back I've had a few conversations with other users and administrators (see a couple of them [[User talk:Csours#Homsar picture in signature|here]] and [[User talk:Trey56#Sniff|here]]) and what I've found out is that it only becomes a problem if people find it distracting, and the people that I've asked haven't found mine distracting. But all it will take is one complaint, and I'll immediately remove that image.

As a side note, you might have better luck removing that "pulse" glitch if you shrink the frames manually and then animate them as a gif. We don't usually put images in the Real-World References section, and that image doesn't really add much to the explanation of Tai Chi. == Floating image ==

I am sorry, but you can't have the floating image you currently have on your user page. The problem, is that it breaks the wiki page and the sidebar becomes unclickable. While visiting your page there is no way to click on Recent Changes, Special Page, and so on. And that image is also misleading and annoying, as well as obscuring some of the text on your page. :I took some sprites from Stardock WindowBlinds' "Diamond" Skin (which is alot like Windows Aero) and assembled them in Ulead PhotoImpact 10 (now Corel PhotoImpact X3) and typed the words in Segoe UI size 11 font and saved as a .PNG. After uploading it here, I embedded it in the following code:

Hey there, GuardDuck. Welcome to the wiki! Regarding your personal image, if you're using it, and no one else is, then it's yours, regardless of who actually uploaded it. I need to speak to you, however, about the image you're currently using. The problem is that it's not a free image. The Pearls Before Swine website offers access to strips for about a month after they're released, but after that, you have to pay to see the archives. What this means is that we can't allow the image on our site, as it is definitely not fair use. Sorry. Perhaps there is something else you could use to illustrate your page, but, unfortunately, I'm going to have to delete that image soon. ::I'm not a lawyer, but my guess is that either (a) the blog has a legitimate claim to fair use or (b) the blog is using the image illegally. Hello GuardDuck, I see that you have made several consecutive edits to the same page. I want to point out the Show Preview button. It's right next to the Save Page button when you edit. You should use it whenever you are making a lot of experimental edits, for example when you are trying to get formatting right. Using the Show Preview button is quicker and easier than saving and clicking "edit" again, and will keep [[Special:Recentchanges|recent changes]] and page histories from being flooded. I noticed that the words "Guard" and "Duck" in your sig can get split up under some conditions. Putting <nowiki></nowiki> before, and a corresponding <nowiki></nowiki> after your signature would prevent that from happening. I fail to understand this situation. What is an edit war? Why is it acceptable to have IP anony edits? I thought we were discouraging this due to the complications on the forum when it was locked for some number of weeks in what I call "the fire." I also thought this policy was the result of financial crisis that HRWiki is facing.

I had 2 suggestions about that, by the way.

# Ask Congress for a bailout.
# Start a wiki on just The Brothers Chaps and any projects they have done, including all things about Homestar Runner.

:Sorry for not being clear enough on the edit summary. An edit war is basically when a page is consistently reverted based on different users' opinions, (which causes some ''major'' Recent Changes cluttering), rather then just taking it to the discussion page. IP Edits are, and have always been accepted, although not as preferred as user edits. While it's discouraged, it doesn't mean that the edits should be reverted. Since you're intending to replace the old images, it would be better for you to upload them ''over'' the old ones (thus preserving the history), rather than uploading the new ones with new filenames and then us deleting the old ones. For some dumb reason MediaWiki automatically capitalizes the first letter, so you have to watch out for that. You can be sure you're using the same filename by clicking the "Upload a new version of this file" link on a given image page. ==History==
On September 29, 2017, [[Strong Bad]] posted a cottage being 3D-printed on his [[Instagram]] account, the first indication of the board game. He later posted a [[3D Character Variations|CG model]] of Trogdor being rendered. After that, he posted small pictures of the game board. A "Slantwise" card was revealed on January 24, 2018, in [[The Deleteheads Download]] Vol. 1.

The game was confirmed on March 19, 2018, by both the [[Index Page]] and the [[@StrongBadActual]] Twitter account, with a photo of the board. More cards were revealed on @StrongBadActual the same day in a reply. It was playable every day from 12 PM to 2 PM in Kickstarter Couchland (room 103) of [[PAX - 8 Apr 2018|PAX East]]. During The Brothers Chaps' panel at PAX East, they revealed much more information about it. An advertisement video was posted on @StrongBadActual on June 12, 2018, announcing the release date of July. A dedicated [http://trogdorboardgame.homestarrunner.com webpage] was made for it on June 29, 2018, and it was put on Kickstarter on July 17, 2018. There will also be a playtest at [[wikipedia:Gen Con|Gen Con]].

==Instructions==
The goal is to burninate the countryside. The tiles can be burninated by flipping them over, and the burninated side is black and fiery. The cottages can be burninated by flipping the roof, which has a flame underneath. The peasants can be burninated by putting a flaming helmet on them, and they leave a flaming path when they're moved. There are three cottages on the board, and one peasant on each cottage tile. Before a cottage is burninated, the surrounding tiles must be burninated. If an unburninated peasant walks into a burninated cottage or another burninated peasant, the unburninated peasant is burninated. The player has a choice to eat or burninate peasants (although a peasant can't be eaten until its tile has been burninated). If a peasant is burninated, it leaves a flaming trail around the board before disappearing. If a peasant is eaten, it will be added to the "Trog-meter" (originally called "[[theme park|The Bowels of Trogdor]]"), which represents Trogdor's health. It starts with four peasants, but can hold up to seven. If Trogdor is hurt, a peasant will be removed (causing his health to decrease). If the Trog-meter decreases to zero, the game is over, and the players have one last chance to try to destroy everything. Trogdor can be harmed by the two [[The Red and Blue Knights|knights]], and the archers [[Mendelev]] and [[Dongolev]]. After three "Trog-Hammer" cards are drawn from the Action card pile, a third knight comes out and makes the game more difficult. The Trog-Hammer knight is placed in the center of the board. If a knight is already occupying that space, a movement card is drawn and the first knight is moved immediately.

Each player starts with one Action card. Each turn, the player draws another Action card, and chooses between using their banked card or their new card. If the banked card is chosen, the new card becomes the banked card. Each Action card has a number of "action points" and a special ability (for example, moving diagonally). Action points can be used to move, burninate the tile Trogdor occupies, or use the Action card ability. Trogdor can only move one tile at a time, and can't move diagonally (without a specific Action card). If Trogdor is on a mountain tile, he can use an Action point to hide in the mountains (with the Trogdor game piece lying down). If Trogdor is on a tunnel tile, he can use an Action point to warp to the other cave.

After each turn, the player draws a movement card. Each movement card has directions for unburninated peasants (usually one or two moves, such as "north" or "north, west"), and directions for burninated peasants, knights, and archers (three or four moves, such as "north, east, north" or "west, south, south, west"). If a peasant, knight, or archer reaches the end of the board, they wrap around to the other side. When the archers' movement is finished, they shoot arrows along and opposite the direction of their last movement (so if their last movement was "west", they'd shoot arrows west and east), hurting Trogdor if he is in their path, but not harming peasants or knights. Trogdor is not harmed if he is on the same tile as the archers when they shoot. Peasants can regenerate at unburninated cottages (taken from the Trog-meter) if the number of peasants on the movement card is higher than the number of peasants on the board. If a movement card has a green arrow and says "move and repair", peasants and knights can repair any burninated cottage tiles they land on. If a movement card has a red arrow, burninated cottages aren't repaired.
