*This was the first Strong Bad Email after a few weeks of no update, most likely because of a break for the holiday season. This is the reason Strong Bad starts the email by saying, "it's been awhile".
*The mention of a meeting occuring in "oh-fifteen minutes" is a parody of [[Wikipedia:24-hour clock|military time]], where a time like 5 a.m. would be [[Wikipedia:24-hour clock#The 24-hour clock in spoken English|spoken]] as "oh-five-hundred hours".

=== Trivia ===
*The label on the disk in the floppy disk container reads "[[Floppy Disk Container#seicross suckross|seicross (suckross)]]".
*This was a minor debut of the [[Cheat Commandos]].

===Remarks===
*It looks like Strong Bad has finished the [[Painting of a guy with a big knife]]. (In [[i love you]] he didn't paint the bottom few inches.)
*The painting walks into Strong Badia by itself. Homsar carries Bennedetto and then wanders offscreen.
*The Compy is rather dusty, as can be evidenced by adjusting the contrast. Interestingly, the second cut to the Compy has the contrast increased so the dust around the edges is more visible.
*When Strong Bad kicks Bennedetto, he makes a shattering noise, but does not appear to be broken in any way, although it is possible that a part inside shattered.

===Goofs===
*Although Strong Sad says that he forgot to rewind after the second "crowd cheer" at the pep rally, the rewind sound does play after the second cheer.
*Strong Sad also presses the same button for rewind and play. Normally those functions have separate buttons.
*The yellow printing on Firebert's toy box goes beyond the top of the box.
*When Homestar leaves Strong Bad at the computer, the contrast of the computer screen is automatically brighter. Then at the end when we cut to Strong Bad again, it is darker.
*When Homestar leaves Strong Bad at the computer and The Cheat (Firebert) comes, the contrast scroll disapears from the computer.
*When Strong Bad types "No idea what we're doing man.", there seems to be an extra space between "idea" and "what".

===Inside References===
*The [[Soapbox|box]] Homestar is standing on at The Stick says "Twelve of Them". This is a reference to [[fingers]], in which Homestar stands on a box which bears the words "Eleven Soaps".

'''The Cheat''', whose name is actually "The Cheat", with an [[Integral Article|integral article]], is at knee-height (1' 2" ''et'' 18lb.), and covered with yellow fuzz. The Cheat presents an adorable figure that is marred only by his large [[The Cheat's Gold Tooth|gold tooth]], which he is hesitant to show, as seen in his interview. He speaks entirely in a language of high-pitched squeaks and growls, which is actually called "The Cheat", that other characters apparently understand just fine. According to his [[Yearbook Character Page]], his motto is "No rule is solid". He is what you could call [[Strong Bad|Strong Bad's]] "sidekick" and [[Strong Mad|Strong Mad's]] best friend. [[Coach Z]] calls him " The Chort".

The Cheat is loyal to Strong Bad for many reasons. In [[privileges]], The Cheat earns points for doing things that amuse Strong Bad, and when he gets enough points, he earns extra privileges (e.g. use of the mute button on the remote control). Strong Bad pays The Cheat for his services; in [[lackey]], he reveals that The Cheat thinks that pencil shavings are legal tender, only for The Cheat to trick [[Bubs]] into accepting the shavings as cash. Strong Bad coerces and bullies The Cheat into being his lackey to a certain extent, and the two share a somewhat abusive relationship, particularly since Strong Bad is fond of [[Kicking The Cheat|kicking him]]. It's possible that Strong Bad's bullying has given The Cheat an almost murderous hatred at times (as seen near the end of the [[Strong Bad Email]] [[disconnected]]). Finally, The Cheat sees Strong Bad's brother Strong Mad as a source of protection, as seen in The Cheat's character video. While The Cheat is more than willing to help Strong Bad in his schemes of obvious illegitimacy, it must be noted that he isn't very good at it. Whenever he and Strong Bad try to pull off a heist, prank, etc., The Cheat usually screws something up and thus causes the plan to fail. A few examples of this are in [[Strong Bad is in Jail Cartoon]], [[A Jumping Jack Contest]] (he is discovered behind a Strong Bad mask), and [[caper]].

The Cheat is an amateur Flash animator in his spare time, creating [[Powered by The Cheat]] cartoons and music videos on his orange iMac computer, [[Tangerine Dreams]]. These animations sometimes make their way into [[Strong Bad Email]]s, often even blurring "reality" with The Cheat's fantasy. He's also a master of many instruments; he plays the piano and [[The Cheat's keyboard|keyboard]] (from [[Everybody Knows It]], [[sibbie]], and [[Strong Bad Sings]], and referenced in [[guitar]]), the drums (in the toon [[Cool Things]] and [[It's Like It Was Meant to Be]]), guitar, (also in [[It's Like It Was Meant to Be]]), and his [[The Cheat's Record Player|record player]]. He also is a [[DJ Teh C.'s Equipment|music producer]], doing remixes for The Geddup Noise ([[geddup noise]]) and the King of Town's New Jam, "Not Talkin' 'bout Butter" ([[Marzipan's Answering Machine Version 13.2]]) under the name "DJ Teh Cheat." Also, as evidenced by scenes in [[Seasonal Sweaters]] and [[No Hands On Deck!]], he can knit. The Cheat is loyal to Strong Bad for many reasons.
