***Thanks! But what you're experiencing is still odd, and it would be nice to get it tracked down. One other thing: when I sign in, I usually select the "remember me" checkbox (since I'm using my own computer in my own apartment); if I hadn't, I'd need to sign in each time I re-open my browser. If you're using a private computer you might try that. I would just like to throw this out there, in the hopes that a few people might see it and actually read it.

Not everything is a reference. Homestar Runner has been out there 10 years now, they've made probly hundreds of hours of animation/voices and stuff and you are very easily going to be able to find SOMETHING that SORTA sounds like just about every line in any new toon.

Secondarily to that, its a great big world out there and you're gonna be able to find something that sorta sounds like any line in a new toon. The thing that leaps to mind is the marshmallow slogan "made from the best stuff" and someone said that was like Snapple's slogan "The best stuff on earth is in here" What is that, two words? I dont want to sound angry on here cuz this isnt in direct response to anything.

I was a long time contributor to the wiki-ish thing they had for Futurama and i noticed that people were just DESPERATE to have ANYTHING in there that they contributed. Now that wiki put the contributor's name there, so i don't really see why people are so crazy to get something in here.

Anyway, take it easy, try to keep in mind that the goal here is to provide a recounting of the toon, not to have paralysis by analysis and scrutinize everything and link every word to wikipedia.

On the other hand, there are a great many things that ''are'' references, and, as long as we're making this wiki anyway, I think I'm going to go ahead and scrutinize each toon to find the legitimate ones. == The DVDs ==

I imagine that nobody else will agree with me, but I've always kind of thought there should be a direct link to the DVD content on the main page. Mainly because when I first bought the DVDs I thought of them as more of a multimedia experience than other items you buy in the store... so it took me awhile to figure out the links to their respective pages was in the store on the cd/dvd page. I am not saying that page should be gone, but perhaps split between dvd and cd? My reasoning?

-> In the store menu on H*R.com, it splits the cd and dvd as two different options under the category of cd/dvd's.

So what you could do is change the links on the STORE page under the CD/DVD category to
1.) DVD's of the cartoons (which is basically how they describe it on the store page on the site)
2.) Strong Bad Sings CD (which would now be a DIRECT link to the page)

This way you can then make a page DEVOTED to the DVD's. Since there will be more DVD's in the future, a purely dvd page seems to be more important in MY opinion.

Since the DVDs are a big thing (IMO) that many fans who bought them might be looking for on the Wiki, I thought featuring a link to the newly divided up "purely dvd only" page would be apropriate. Maybe called "The DVD's"...

I thought this would be a good idea, to have the dvds featured more prominently.
If featuring a link to them on the main page is a bad idea... I still stand by the idea of seperating the dvds into their own page. ::::I'm assuming your PC runs Windows... in which case, bring up the volume control (double-click the speaker icon in the taskbar), go into the preferences and choose "Recording" and turn on all the options below. Now, depending on your sound card, you'll want to find something like "Stereo Mix" or "Mixer" or "Output" or something similar, and either turn on "Select" or turn off "Mute" or something like that. Now when you hit "Record" in Audacity (or any other recording software) it will record whatever your speakers are playing... so click Record, then play the toon, and you'll have the soundtrack. It will take a few goes to get the recording level right, but that's how you do it. "sbemail139_5_shadowstevens" is the title string in the ID3v2 tag for the official version of the file. iTunes is an mp3 player, as well as an interface to Apple's iTunes store. Strong Bad talks a big line, claiming to be a criminal mastermind, a [[Exaggerated Strong Bad|muscle man]], and totally popular with the [[Strong Bad's Ladies|ladies]], though there is little evidence of any of these claims, and no shortage of evidence that they are all untrue. Strong Bad refuses to acknowledge this however, and continues unfazed with his delusions of grandeur. He is convinced that Marzipan likes, or has a crush on, him when in fact she "[[marzipan|really doesn't like him at all]]." Due to his delusional opinions about himself, much of what Strong Bad says should be taken with a grain of salt. He seems to have a grudge against [[Birds (Teen Girl Squad)|birds]], as shown in issues of [[Teen Girl Squad]]. He also loves to listen to [[Limozeen]], [[Taranchula]], and [[Wikipedia:Peter Frampton|Peter Frampton]] (though his opinion of Frampton is somewhat mixed). There is highly conflicting evidence towards Strong Bad's supposed strength. For the most part, it was continuously implied that Strong Bad is actually very weak and out of shape and that "Strong Bad" was merely his name and not an accurate description. But in the Strong Bad Emails "[[car]]", "[[old comics]]", and "[[secret identity]]", Strong Bad demonstrates the ability to punch Homestar's lights out and literally toss both him and The King of Town out of his house, thus condradicting this claim. He can also easily pick up and carry the 42-pound [[Lappy 486]] with ease. However, In the email "[[lady fan]]", the idea of Strong Bad being a weakling is supported yet again when he is unable to do a single push-up, and states that he used to be able to do four. It is possible that, like Homestar's "[[Lack of Visible Arms|arms]]", this fact may be purposely ambiguous, or that Strong Bad really is a complete weakling. He has [[Kicking The Cheat|kicked The Cheat]] quite a few times, but it is unknown exactly how much The Cheat weighs (although it would seem that he is about 18 pounds, as seen in [[Where's The Cheat?]]) or how far Strong Bad kicked him, so it is debatable whether this factors into his strength or not.
