:On one hand, your suggestion is definitely worded in a more encyclopedic way. On the other hand, I think the current title is clever, in part because it's a play on the titles of the other [[:Category:Character Relationships|Character Relationships]] articles, and also because Homestar's relationship with himself is not that of a normal person. ::This is common to many spoofs of old-style celebrity specials. It is far more likely that SC and H*R are spoofing the same source than that H*R is spoofing the spoof. See the mid-1980s SNL skit with Eddie Murphy as Gumby in "Merry Christmas, D**mit!" It's the same format. The "Oh, I didn't see you there" line a common method of appearing "off the cuff."

I think it should be noted in the article that when Strong Bad translates the cheat as "previous engagement", he (or the Cheat) probably meant "prior arrangement". A previous engagement is something that has already happened, not something that is about to happen that the Cheat must attend.

I think the fun fact is grabbing the wrong part of the Wikipedia entry for "mix tape." This 'toon is definitely referring to the Hip Hop definition of mix tape, more like a demo than a home-made sample of other people's tracks.

The "remainder 3" would then be "X remainder 3," which is just another way of saying "X plus 3 over X." Phlip explained this quite adequately. If you take the order of operations into account, the equation is even easier to solve. It's first year algebra, and X ends up equaling 3. Sompm's HS math teacher explains this one below, and it's pointed out (sans explanation) above. The fact that it really makes no sense to use a remainder in this kind of equation, and that you wouldn't actually encounter such a problem (either version) in real life, does not make it "impossible to solve." ::I think the problem here is people are assuming that the mathematical operations being used are defined in the "normal" way, and that phrases such as "My name is Tenerence Love" can be treated as a variable, or a value in some set of numbers. I ran it by my highshool math teacher mother, and we came up with this: according to the order of oprations, we divide x by x first, to get one, so it's x+1 = xR3, and because the fraction of the division is the remainder over the denominator so it's x+1=x+3/x. if x is 3, the x+1=x+1.

:As I know it (and I could be missing some 'new' meaning...) flaking is basically saying you will do something and then not doing it. For example "We were going to meet Jim at the movies but he totally flaked." could mean Jim either forgot to show up or chose not to, without letting the other parties know, even though he made plans to be there. I had a similar glitch; here's how I worked around it. The scrapbook first had two haglets, and it accepted 2 as the answer, but I missed the final question and had to restart. I looked at the scrapbook again and this time it had 4 haglets. I answered 4, but it didn't accept it. So I started again (again), looked at the scrapbook (still 4), then answered 2 and it worked. I seem to remember playing a game like this in middle school about twelve years ago on an old Apple II (the game was probably old even then). Okay, never mind the spoiler argument. Nevertheless, with the current organization it is difficult to connect each reference to its location in the game. It works for toons, since they are both smaller in scope and linear. References fit in a manageable list, and can be ordered chronologically for convenience. Here, however, we have a larger list, poorly-defined chronology, and (worst of all) the content the references explain is not even on the same page. That doesn't make sense to me. Seriously, look at the Inside References. For most of them half of the space is taken up just building the context, and for the rest, unless you've got the game memorized, you have to either settle for insufficient context or hunt through one or two rather large pages to find it. Why not just move them where the context would be obvious?
