'''WHAT'S HER FACE:''' Taking the vowels out of words doesn't <u>always</u> make them cool.

'''SO AND SO:''' 'm srry.
'''STRONG BAD:''' ''{voiceover}'' Whoa! That was about the coolest thing ever! We gotta see that again.

''{The cartoon rewinds and replays the 360-spin. At the end, however, What's Her Face is still spinning.}'' Uh-oh. We got a spinner.

'''WHAT'S HER FACE:''' Wheeeee! ''{the word slides to the right across the text bubble}''

''{A title slide entitled "AT THE PARTY" (imprinted on a cigarette, which a man is smoking) appears. Cut to the boy/girl party.
'''CHEERLEADER:''' Alright<!-- please don't correct this; it's how she says it -->, wallflowers, watch a professional at work... I'm fit to get makey outey all over those uppaclassmen.
==Fun Facts==
{{checkstuffpage}}
===Explanations===
*"24 great-smelling colors" refers to scented markers like the [http://www.sanford.com/sanford/consumer/jhtml/new-product/productdetail.jhtml?attributeId=SNATT20025&nrProductId=SN20072 Mr. Sketch] series.
*"pØwned" and "p4wned" are variations of the Internet slang. "[[Wikipedia:Pwn|Pwned]]" has numerous pronunciations, with popular ones including "owned" or "poned". P4wned is also [[Wikipedia:Leet|leetspeak]] for "pawned" as in pawn shop.
*The [[Wikipedia: Caber toss|Caber toss]] is a traditional Scottish sport, usually involving a log of specific weight. However, the remark "BAGH! Only 23 metres!" does not apply to the sport, for distance does not matter, but how straight the throw is when it lands on the ground or the amount of rotations in the air.
*A [[Wikipedia:lathe|lathe]] is a tool used to create objects with [[wikipedia:rotational symmetry#Rotational symmetry with respect to any angle|cylindrical symmetry]] such as table legs. It works by rotating the subject while a cutting or smoothing tool is applied, evenly removing material around its circumference.
*[[Wikipedia:Clip show|Clip shows]], weddings, new babies, and characters getting killed off are staples of anniversary episodes and are generally considered signs of a TV show [[Wikipedia:Jumping the shark|jumping the shark]]. Such episodes also reprise characters and themes from the show as a whole (this issue features a great number of minor characters from previous issues).
*The "Sweet Someteen" birthday is a reference to [[Wikipedia:Sweet sixteen (birthday)|sweet sixteen]].
*[[Wikipedia:Shareware|Shareware]] is generally software that an individual creates and gives out for free (accompanied by a request for payment), with the intention that recipients will like it and share it with other people, increasing its visibility and potential profitability.

===Remarks===
[[Image:Babydaddy.PNG|100px|thumb]]
*This cartoon uses a faster [[Wikipedia:Frame rate|frame rate]] than any of the other ones before due to the 3-D sequence.
*Cheerleader and So And So leave the vowel Y in their words during the vowel-less scene. <!-- Yes, "Y" IS A VOWEL IN THIS CONTEXT!!! See talk page. -->
*This toon has more characters in it than any other toon to date.
*The music at the party is a hip-hop version of the TGS main theme song.
*Even though it says in "24 great smelling colors", there are 43 colors.
*When Strong Bad rewinds the 3-D spin around, the "SO GOOD!" speech bubble disappears.
*Strong Bad drew the "It's Over!" page on the back of the making-out page (you can see it reversed through the page, which is crumpled).
*In the rotational scene, Cheerleader's ''baby daddy'' seems to come out of her dress.
*When What's Her Face is cut in half by the Mighty Warrior, the bone connected to her upper half is not cut.

===Goofs===
*So And So's teeth are "flesh colored" in her introductory shot.
*"Vicious" is misspelled as "viscious" in So and So's description.
*When Manolios says "give it up," his speech bubble says "give up."
*Near the end, in the "real life" scene, we see the "ARROWED II" paper on the desk. However, it is missing the "II."
*In the Easter Egg, when Manolios Ugly One is waving his arms around, a gap opens and closes repeatedly in his beard.
Admins, are these ok to be served locally from the HR site? I'm guessing yes, but I want your blessing! :) --[[User:Stux|Stux]] 01:44, 2 Oct 2005 (UTC)
:::Oops! By HR site I meant the wiki! :) [[Stux]]
Does the gallery feature allow for subtitles? I liked the ability to click on each character's name to get to their page. --[[User:Stux|Stux]] 02:27, 2 Oct 2005 (UTC)

== I had an idea ==
Back when it was a graph, I had an idea. Why don't we include the dates of when each head was used? - {{User:Joshua/sig}}

:Good idea! I was thinking to also include the last quote that they had and a link to it, but maybe that is 'overkill'. --{{User:Smileyface11945/sig}} 02:27, 2 Oct 2005 (UTC)

::Dates by themselves should work. - {{User:Joshua/sig}}

:::That's really not necessary, because that's noted on the Quote of the Week page. &mdash; [[User:It's dot com|It's dot com]] 02:32, 2 Oct 2005 (UTC)
::::But we love organizing stuff [[Strong Bad Email#Additional Information|many different ways]]. Eh, I don't really care so much. - {{User:Joshua/sig}} 02:33, 2 Oct 2005 (UTC)

== Background ==

The backround of that gallery is slightly different than white. Can someone fix that (I don't know how)? The picture backrounds are white, not transparent. --{{User:Smileyface11945/sig}} 02:26, 2 Oct 2005 (UTC)
:I don't know whether that's changeable. We may just have to live with that. &mdash; [[User:It's dot com|It's dot com]] 02:32, 2 Oct 2005 (UTC)

:I agree, although I wish u could change it. SM looks kinda freaky. {{User:Bubsty/sig}}

::I've been trying, but so far no luck. See [[MetaWikipedia:Help:Images_and_other_uploaded_files#Gallery_tag.2C_category.2C_table_of_images|this page]] for info. &mdash; [[User:It's dot com|It's dot com]] 02:36, 2 Oct 2005 (UTC)

::If we change it back to a table, there would be a way to make it look like a gallery ''and'' get the backrounds white. Also, it would make it look --[[User:Stux|Stux]] 03:04, 2 Oct 2005 (UTC)like the QOW page. --{{User:Smileyface11945/sig}}

:::Meh, I think that would be only a marginal improvement, especially considering how convenient the gallery is. &mdash; [[User:It's dot com|It's dot com]] 02:46, 2 Oct 2005 (UTC)

::Apparently According to [[Wikipedia:Wikipedia:Gallery]], the only facilities it provides is referencing the links and adding optional text. --[[User:Stux|Stux]] 02:45, 2 Oct 2005 (UTC)
::::Options: we can use the Wiki tables format (haven't learned that one quite well yet), or we can use the hard-coded gallery output and change the color like this:
::::'''<nowiki><table class="gallery" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0"><tr><td>
<div class="gallerybox"><div class="thumb" style="padding: 26px 0;"></nowiki> '''

::::and then modify the color settings (ugh somehow, -- i'm still not that familiar with CSS)
::::We could also photoshop all of the backgrounds. (forgot to sign) --[[User:Stux|Stux]] 02:51, 2 Oct 2005 (UTC)

:::::I fixed Strong Mad (hard-refresh to see it). Does it look good? Do the rest need to be fixed? &mdash; [[User:It's dot com|It's dot com]] 02:56, 2 Oct 2005 (UTC)
::::::I like!... It definitely looks good! And it would be nice to see them all fit the same pattern (are you keeping the original white versions? I'm a perfectionist at heart. Somewhere.) Keep in mind these aren't ''exactly'' the original pictures extracted but no one really can tell 'except us in the trenches. So the white versions would be great (I know Smiley liked that), but I personally am happy with gray. --[[User:Stux|Stux]] 03:04, 2 Oct 2005 (UTC)
*'''Greatest.''' I definitely hear a consonant in there. It's a little muffled because of his illness. The joke is that for a depressing person, being sick means he's actually having a good day. The second line is a play on "I feel like a million dollars," which only a person having the greatest day of their life would say. *'''Greatest.''' For all the reasons already stated. --{{User:Jay/sig}} 19:39, 3 Oct 2005 (UTC)
*<span style="color:#666">'''Grayest.'''</span> - when someone has the greatest day of their life, they feel like a million dollars. When someone has the grayest day, they only feel like a few dollars. Makes perfect sense.
** I know this isn't [[STUFF]], but sign your votes. --{{User:Jay/sig}} 03:44, 4 Oct 2005 (UTC)
*<span style="color:#070">'''Greenest!'''</span> Seriously! That's what I thought when he said it. Why else would he say like he felt like some dollar bills? Also, his face looked green. [[User:Ju Ju Master|Ju Ju Master]]
*<span style="color:#800">'''Greediest.'''</span> To me, Strong Sad is saying ''"greediest."'' How about any of you? {{User:gwr2004/sig}} 01:53, 4 Oct 2005 (UTC)
**<span style="color:#888">'''Comment.'''</span> Greediest? "This is the greediest day of my life."?! That makes no sense, and I hear greatest. I think the conclusion is obvious now. - {{User:Joshua/sig}}
*'''Greatest.''' Not because it necessarily makes sense in context or in character or anything like that, but just because that's what it sounds like. Actually it sounds more like "Greadest" but anyone who's had a blocked nose knows that 't's are hard to pronounce and often come out as 'd's. {{User:phlip/sig}} 03:28, 4 Oct 2005 (UTC)
*'''Greatest.''' Indeed, it is 'greatest.' The "t" is partially swallowed, (or, to take the "hooked on phonetics" route, his pronunciation has an incomplete plotive stop, muddying the sharpness of the "t"), but it is there. {{User:Thesmokingmonkey/sig}} 12:04, 4 Oct 2005 (UTC)
*'''Greatest.''' The ''t'' is kind of blended with the ''est'', so I could see why people could think it was grayest. But, it's Greatest.--{{User:bkmlb/sig}} 18:18, 4 Oct 2005 (UTC)
::::::::::::By only one person? Josh fixed that one you were so worked up about, and then notstrongorbad defended me. 1+1+1=3. Wow! That's more than 1, eh? :-P So, in other words, I was doing something that multiple people agreed with, yet no one but you defended? Seriously, go hang out at "Recent Changes" for a while. TONS of stuff gets reverted, rarely by me. Yes, the internet changes, but stupid or obvious facts will forever remain stupid and/or obvious. {{User:Camalex/sig}} 02:01, 5 Oct 2005 (UTC)
::::::::::::I defended you, Camalex, largely because very insulting language had made its way into the edit summaries. What stays and what goes in the Wiki is never really a measure of the absolute truth (or absolute "stupidity" or obviousness) of a given fact; the Wiki is a liquid that assumes the form of its users. Some facts never have a chance from the get go, but that's simply because the weight of opinion is so strong against them that they could be described as "stupid." (Though I'd rather not.) Like a river finding its way through mountains, the Wiki oscillates between conflicting opinions and finally stabilizes in something that expresses the average of those opinions. Sometimes it's a million to one; sometimes, like the infamous Family Guy, it's a hotly contested oscillation, and an uneasy stability. But, aside from obvious objective realities about the 'toons, the Wiki is a joint agreement of subjective opinions. If, years in the future, a generation of wikiers with completely different opinions about these things were in charge, the Wiki would adapt to the averaged contours of their opinions. I'm getting too wordy--my point is, it's understandable to be angered by the perception that your initial contributions to the Wiki are unwanted (I made several false starts for the same reason). I tried to squelch some dialogue that was <i>not</i> making the Wiki a "happy place"--so don't respond to it in kind. --[[User:notstrongorbad|notstrongorbad]] 05:09, 5 Oct 2005 (UTC)

Gentlemen(?), gentlemen! The WRWiki is a lively place that often reminds me of gas in a compressed space. You have all these molecules bouncing and slamming and whipping around...well, to make the analogy make more sense, the molecules would have to have feelings. And know how to edit wiki-style. And know something about Homestar Runner. Regardless, sometimes the best laid edits of mice and diffrent mice get reverted, or changed, or deleted. It's frustrating, especially for those who want desperately to contribute. And sometimes this leads to a bit of testiness, or outright name-calling between users when things don't go exactly as they planned. My advice, as trite as it may sound, is ''relax''. Contributions, recognition and ''acceptance'' stack up with time, and letting set-backs freak you out or drag you down (to the point of feeling a persecution complex) isn't positive for anyone.

Taking things too personally can lead to the, um, Dark Side of Wikidom. Let me close with an awful limerick about a real experience I had that sort of relates to the issue:

<small><center>''There was once a anonymous user with an IP,'' <br>

''and I reverted some changes of he.'' <br>

''Not much did he like this,'' <br>

''and with a sure quickness,'' <br>

''he wrote some profane stuff about me.''</center></small>

But it is good to talk, good to vent. But ''relax''. We should all be able to work things out in a civil way. And maybe we'll all get closer to that "happy place." &mdash; {{User:Thesmokingmonkey/sig}} 12:57, 5 Oct 2005 (UTC)
== Sick Chaps? ==

Ever since 12AM Monday morning, I had been wondering why their was no new SB email for this week. Then this thing came out in the later the same day, as a toon. But I noticed it seemed like maybe it was originally intended to be an SB email, especially because Strong Bad got an email at the beginning. I was just thinking maybe Mike Chapman himself might have gotten sick, which could explain the lack of an SB email, and could have inspired the short itself. What does anyone else think about this?--[[User:Sanyo|Sanyo]] 06:47, 5 Oct 2005 (UTC)
:There's certainly nothing unusual about a Monday release being late in the day. But what with all the talk of who's sick, it did cross my mind that maybe the inspiration was that TBC themselves had a bug. Of course they wouldn't be as incapacitated as everybody in the 'toon, or else <i>they</i> wouldn't feel like doing one any more than Strong Bad. Of course this remains the wildest of speculation; I just wanted to say it did cross my mind as well. --[[User:notstrongorbad|notstrongorbad]] 07:32, 5 Oct 2005 (UTC)
'''The jibblies''' occur when something scares [[Strong Bad]], such as the [[Horrible Painting]] in [[Strong Mad's Room]], the thought of giving [[The Poopsmith]] a bath, or even watching [[Homestar Runner]] and [[Marzipan]] go on a date. In mild cases, Strong Bad shudders and mutters "jibblie". In more severe cases, he will twitch uncontrollably and repeatedly and incoherently say "jibblie".
==Fun Facts==
{{checkstuffpage}}

===Explanations===
*The lights are off and [[Gavin]] is shown on the Lappy because it had been 7 weeks since the previous Strong Bad Email.

===Trivia===
* Not counting [[anything]], where Strong Bad didn't appear, this is the first Strong Bad Email to have a character other than Strong Bad appearing first.
*"The Teach" is an [[Wikipedia:Anagram|anagram]] of "[[The Cheat]]".

===Remarks===
* Clicking on [[Gavin]] at the beginning of the email still makes the [[Lappy 486]] respond with the ripple effect, as if you were clicking directly on the screen.
* Marc's question is odd because the Geddup Noise appeared in three of the five previous emails ([[boring (really)]], [[record book]], and [[lady...ing]]).
*A get up noise like that is not even possible on carpet. Strong Bad's stool makes a noise as if it were scraping against tile or hardwood floor.
**[[The Brothers Chaps]] have mentioned this in commentaries.
**The noise seems to exist as an entity unto itself. It sounds without the stool even moving when Strong Bad throws over the phone, not to mention its sounding in the studio of [[The Show]].
*Strong Bad says the "get up noise" is correctly the "geddup noise", even though at the end of [[the bet]] he calls it the "get up noise".
*Strong Bad would have to have looked up what email the Geddup noise got his phone call, because he lost count of emails at [[website|#51]] until he was notified in [[flashback]].
*"This Is Not A The Geddup Noise T-Shirt," as seen on Strong Sad's shirt, shows that "The" is part of The Geddup Noise's name, as is the case with The Cheat, The Stick, etc.

===Goofs===
*When the close-up of the Disconnected Phone is shown, there is no cord extending from it. The cord is only visible when Strong Bad throws the phone on the floor.
*When Gavin walks off the computer, he goes straight down, even though the laptop is at an angle.
*When Strong Bad is repeatedly getting up and standing back down again, the laces on the back of his head should be visible while he is getting up.

===Inside References===
*[[The am morning "CRUDE" crew]] was first heard in [[radio]].
*Strong Bad uses a [[Disconnected Telephone]].
*Boardelectrix also made Jurvy-Skat in [[Family Resemblence]].
*The Show's announcer calls Homestar "[[Kevin]]", short for "Kevin DuBrow", the name he would have been known by had he lost Strong Bad's wager in [[the bet]].
*Coach Z's dance in the easter egg is the "I'm Just Me" dance from [[record book]].
*The synthesizer used for The Cheat's song in this email sounds the same as the one used for the [[Stinkoman 20X6]] soundtrack.
*[[Club Technochocolate]] was originaly mentioned in [[extra plug]].

What ever happened to the get up noise? I think it<br \>
was cool.<br /><br / >
Sincerely yours marc baroni AZ</blockquote>

'''STRONG BAD:''' Oh! Alphabet macaroni! ''{typing}'' The get up noise? Oh wait, you mean The Geddup Noise. This guy!

''{Strong Bad gets up and sits down three times, making the noise each time}''

'''STRONG BAD:''' ''{typing}'' Ahhh, what fun! But that's not even the real Geddup Noise. That's just his cousin, Chairscoot. ''{clears screen}'' No, the real Geddup noise split quite some time ago. Somewheres right around email 84, Ol' Geddy got all big overseas. And then the phone calls started coming in.

''{Cut to a close-up shot of Strong Bad. He is holding a phone.}''
''{Cut to Coach Z and Bubs at the concession stand.}''

'''COACH Z:''' Okay, now I got one Bubs-O. Who am I supposed to be? ''{imitates geddup noise to Bubs' chagrin}''
'''HOMESTAR RUNNER:''' I know, Chairscoot. He’s my generation’s Geddup Noise! Uh, could you make it out to ''Lou Dobbs''?

'''STRONG BAD:''' That’s it, I’m outta here. ''{Walks offscreen to stage right, making the chairscoot noise}''

'''HOMESTAR RUNNER:''' Ah! There it is! It’s positively dreamy! ''{little hearts float up out of Homestar's head and pop like bubbles}'' Ohhhh! ''{Homestar faints. He knocks the stool which makes the chairscoot noise one more time.}''

''{[[The Paper]] comes down.}''

==Easter Eggs==
*Click "Coches" before the cutaway to Strong Sad to see a postcard from Coches Mountains with [[Monkey D]].
*Click on the stool to see additional footage of The Cheat's ambient mix in Club Technochocolate.
:''{Cut back to The Cheat, Pom Pom and Bubs dancing at Club Technochocolate. Coach Z enters and dances across the room. Then Strong Mad's sock puppet appears up front for a bit and lipsyncs the words "geddup geddup geddup", then disappears and reappears to the left where it lipsyncs again, and then goes back up front, where it lipsyncs one more time and then "dances" to the music. Then it fades to black and the Geddup Noise is heard.}''
*Click on the notepad and it'll bring up autograph #1:
<pre>My Pal
Lou Dobbs,
Stay real!
Chairscoot
</pre>

Click on it again and it'll bring up autograph #2:
<pre>Lou Dobbs,
you've been
working out?
==Fun Facts==
{{checkstuffpage}}
===Trivia===
* Not counting [[anything]], where Strong Bad didn't appear, this is the first SBEmail to have a character other than Strong Bad appearing first.
*"The Teach" is an [[Wikipedia:Anagram|anagram]] of "[[The Cheat]]".

===Remarks===
* Clicking on [[Gavin]] at the beginning of the email still makes the [[Lappy 486]] respond with the white circle wave, as if you were clicking directly on the screen.
* Marc's question is odd because the Geddup Noise appeared in the three of the five previous SBEmails ([[lady...ing]], [[record book]] and [[boring (really)]]).
*The sign on [[Bubs' Concession Stand]] reads "Bubso's Concession Stand", which may be why Coach Z calls him Bubso.
*The email [[kids' book]] is on the [[Compy 386]] when the Geddup Noise gets his phone call. Kids' book is the 84th email Strong Bad mentioned.

===Goofs===
*When the close-up of the Disconnected Phone is shown, there is no cord extruding from it. The cord is only visible when Strong Bad throws the phone on the floor.

===Inside References===
*The hearts that appear when Homestar hears The Geddup Noise are from [[do over]].
*[[The am morning "CRUDE" crew]] was first heard in [[radio]].
*Strong Bad uses a [[Disconnected Telephone]].
*Boardelectrix also made Jurvy-Skat in [[Family Resemblence]].
*The Show's announcer calls Homestar "Kevin", short for "Kevin DuBrow", the name he would have been known by had he lost Strong Bad's wager in [[the bet]].
*Coach Z's dance in the easter egg is the "I'm Just Me" dance from [[record book]].
*The synthesizer used for the Cheat's song in this email sounds the same as the one used for the [[Stinkoman 20X6]] soundtrack.

Tom Epsilon: /* It's About Freakin' Time! */

==steve buttz==
dont you guys notice that the e-mail he was ansering when he got a phone call was from steve buttz? i think you should
note that.-[[User:Timmy!]]
:Um, yeah, we do that.
<blockquote>The email kids' book is on the Compy 386 when the Geddup Noise gets his phone call. Kids' book is the 84th email Strong Bad mentioned.</blockquote>
:See? It's in the remarks section. - '''''[[User:Joshua|<font color=green>Joshua</font>]]'''''
==corporate magazines==
do we really need the strong sad/kurt cobain refernce in both remarks, and real world references? having it in one or the other would make more sense. - '''''[[User:i know. can you believe it?|<font color=blue>i know. can you believe it?</font>]]'''''
:Taken care of. Thnks for pointing it out. {{User:Some HSR themed username/sig}} 14:10, 26 Sep 2005 (UTC)
:In future it'd be easier for you to just fix it yourself. When an article comes out for something new like this, there's usually a lot of frenzied editing, everyone wants to get their point in. Duplicates do often turn up - just delete one, leave whichever one is more grammatical/detailed/in a more appropriate section. {{User:phlip/sig}} 14:23, 26 Sep 2005 (UTC)
==OMG Kevin!==
Homestar being called Kevin is referring to [[the bet]], right? -[[User:BurninatorBoombox&Markie|<font color=DC143C>MK and/or BurnBox</font>]] 15:05, 26 Sep 2005 (UTC)

== Adding to the Cast ==

Shouldn't we add The Geddup Noise and Chairscoot to the cast for this email, since they're kinda referred to as characters throughout?
--[[User:Tigz|Tigz]] 15:17, 26 Sep 2005 (UTC)
:No, we shouldn't. But we should make a page for the Geddup Noise. - '''''[[User:Joshua|<font color=green>Joshua</font>]]''''' 15:21, 26 Sep 2005 (UTC)

==Get Up Kids?==
Does it seem likely/noteworthy to anyone that the e-mail (esp. in relation indie music) was vaguely referencing or inspired by the (recently broken-up) band The Get Up Kids? If so, someone should write that into the article in an elegant fashion. Perhaps. -[[User:Sinisterscrawl|Sinisterscrawl]] 16:41, 26 Sep 2005 (UTC)

:As cool as the Get Up Kids are/were, I don't think there's any connection there. &mdash; {{User:Thesmokingmonkey/sig}}

== Shoshoni & Coches ==
I'm too lazy to do it myself, but ought there to be some Explanations for [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shoshoni Shoshoni] and Coches? A cursory, 5-minute search has failed to give me a good idea of where the latter are; just some ski resort sites in other languages. I assume they're a mountain range in either France or Spain or both, but if it's that far removed from common knowledge an Explanation might be in order. [[User:notstrongorbad|notstrongorbad]]

"coches" is spanish for cars. not sure if this is related. sarducci

== Coach Z's Dance ==

_Not_ the one from folky tale. In folky tale, coach Z hops from foot to foot while pumping his arms up and down above his head. In the easter egg, he hops on one foot (his right) across the screen with his arms down at his sides, moving slightly up-and down. Deleted the "inside reference" claiming it was the same. -sarducci
:It's similar, though. But still not the same. My first thought, though, was the 'I'm Just Me' song and dance from [[record book]]. --[[User:DorianGray|DorianGray]]
:Oh, good catch. I does seem to be identical to the I'm just me dance, cept he's moving across the screen, not just up and down. Is this worth a mention? -sarducci
::Might be worth a mention. I dunno. If people don't like it, they can always STUFF it. --[[User:DorianGray|DorianGray]]

== Strong Mad said what? ==

It sounded to me like Strong Mad said "YOU SUCK!" instead of "BLUE SOCK!" Anybody else think so? [[User:ACupOfCoffee|ACupOfCoffee]] 19:17, 26 Sep 2005 (UTC)
:It did sound like that a little, but "BLUE SOCK" definitely fits the context better. --[[User:DorianGray|DorianGray]]
::But wouldn't that explain why Strong Bad was embarassed to have shown that "clip"? [[User:ACupOfCoffee|ACupOfCoffee]] 19:40, 26 Sep 2005 (UTC)
:::I heard you suck at first, but a closer listen revealed blue sock to be true. {{User:Some HSR themed username/sig}} 19:43, 26 Sep 2005 (UTC)
:::No, it wouldn't. It showed Strong Bad selling out and imitating The Geddup Noise, which would be embarrassing to someone like Strong Bad, don'cha think? "Blue sock" definitely fits better. --{{User:Jay/sig}} 20:24, 26 Sep 2005 (UTC)

== It's About Freakin' Time! ==

Anyone else find it weird that for almost 2 months, TBC diddn't do any SBEmails (almost all they do) to do two big toons, two shorts, multiple Lament updates, a new main page, a new navigation feature, and add several new products to the store? Plus several of the newer emails have sucked. I think the SBEmails are dying.---[[User:RatherAnnoying|RatherAnnoying]]

-If you noticed, they said they were putting out a DVD of all the non Strong bad email stuff, so they were probably just rushing to get out all the ideas they had for toons before the DVD went to press......Nah...

-I think they were trying to fill up the site with newer stuff for a few possible reasons.
A.) Trying to make sure that their site has things other than the SBEmail get updated.
B.)Trying to get enough toons and shorts added so they can release a Toons DVD.
C.) Perhaps they figured that all those updates might help boost the sites popularity.
I do think it should be noted about how this is the first SBEmail in a while. [[User:20X6 GEM|20X6 GEM]]

2 months without an e-mail
And this is the demented result...
I'll be happier when Stinkoman level 10 comes out (I hope)...
Man, some of the e-mails I sent had such cool premises, and THEY ANSWER ONE ABOUT THE NOISE STRONG BAD MAKES WHEN HE GETS OFF HIS CHAIR...
GUUH GUUUH GUH...

Signed, this may very well be my least favorite email. I-- it's... just not funny. {{User:Tom Epsilon/sig}}

== Goofs and a Question ==

I have several points/questions:

* In the part where Strong Bad immitates the ''Geddup Noise'' with the ''Git Outcha Seat Sound'', if you notice, the chair his sitting on only has three legs! (And there's no way the perspective would hide the 4th leg)

* I'm not sure if this counts as a goof: When you click on the notepad easter egg, you can click on the back pages (over where the stool is) and still get the Technochocolate easter egg.

* Finally, I noticed that both of Bubs' eyelids closed when Coach Z was making his first impression of the ''Geddup Noise''. I'm wondering, is this the first time he does that? I don't remember ever seeing him do that before.

That's enough for now. I'm still new at this, so I appreciate your input! --[[User:Stux|Stux]] 20:13, 26 Sep 2005 (UTC)

::Also, I made a link addittion, but I cannot corroborate the change made by 65.163.168.10 (in the [[geddup_noise#Inside_References|Inside References]] section). Please double check. --[[User:Stux|Stux]] 21:14, 26 Sep 2005 (UTC)

BTW I think the ("cordless") phone deserves its own page.
--[[User:Stux|Stux]] 23:22, 26 Sep 2005 (UTC)

:It already [[Disconnected Telephone|has a page]]. --[[User:DorianGray|DorianGray]]

::Oh! My bad! Thanks for the link! I saw where it's referred to in the page. --[[User:Stux|Stux]] 23:27, 26 Sep 2005 (UTC)
:::Any time. Happy to help, etc. --[[User:DorianGray|DorianGray]]

==Is This Correct?==

The part about Marc's question being odd in because the Geddup Noise was in the previous email doesn't make sense to me. This is in Remarks. This email could have been easily sent before lady...ing. [[User:Catman87]]
:It's possible, but I don't think they'd save an email for that long. Keep in mind how long ago the last email was. --[[User:DorianGray|DorianGray]]

''{Open to Cheat Commandos headquarters; a title which reads "'MOVIE NIGHT!' written by A. Chimendez Jr." appears. Cut to some Cheat Commandos at [[The Screen]].}''

'''CRACKOTAGE:''' Movie night is my favorite night. I think it is my favorite night. Hee hee hoo hoo!

'''SILENT RIP:''' Are you even trying anymore?

'''GUNHAVER:''' All right boys, time for a little R&R. Tonight we've got the old family favorite ''Pony Fights 2''!!!

''{the big screen cuts to the green rating screen. It says "THE FOLLOWING FILM HAS BEEN APPROVED FOR CERTIAN AUDIENCES BY SOME PEOPLE WHO KNOW WHAT'S BEST. IT BE RATED PG-13 FOR SEVERE CUSSING AND'' VERY ''ILLEGAL PONY FIGHTS.}''

'''EVERYBODY:''' Yay! Yeah!

'''SILENT RIP:''' All right! PG-13!

'''GUNHAVER:''' Uh, sorry Reynold, I'm afraid lights out for you is at oh-now hundred hours!

'''FIGHTGAR:''' Yeah, all that cuss-language might give you nightmares. Ah-ha ha ha.

'''REYNOLD:''' Oh, I can handle it, why I can even swear a cuss myself! A-hem. Diaper-biscuits.

'''OTHER COMMANDOS:''' Ha ha ha ha ha ha!

'''REYNOLD:''' Oh, I can't do anything right. I might as well go home and get teen pregnant.

''{The other commandos gasp, the Blue Las-Alert siren sounds once.}''

'''GUNHAVER:''' Easy there, Cheat Cuss-mando, you just made an inappropriate peer-to-teen choice behavior!

'''REYNOLD:''' A whaaa?

''{cut to the black and white Commandos in the Classroom logo, which looks like Reynold in a mortar cap pointing a pointer at an A+}''

'''ANNOUNCER:''' ''{singing}'' Commandos in the Classroom!

''{Cut to another black-and-white slide that reads "LESSON 4: INAPPROPRIATE PEER-2-TEEN CHOICE BEHAVIORS". At the bottom in fine print it reads "*TEACHERS, USE THIS TIME TO CATCH A NAP OR HAVE A SMOKE."}''

'''ANNOUNCER:''' Lesson four: Inappropriate peer-to-teen choice behaviors!

''{Cut back to Gunhaver and Reynold in Cheat Commandos HQ}''

'''GUNHAVER:''' Here, Reynold, lemme show you.

''{Gunhaver points the remote at the screen, which shows two ponies fighting in a field for a moment, then snows out to a diagram of the brain. The other commandos cheer for a second, then boo as the scene changes.}''

'''SILENT RIP:''' Watchin' the ponies...

'''GUNHAVER:''' The brain is divided into two halves: ''{The brain in the diagram gets a jagged line down the middle}'' the good half ''{A dotted line points to the left half saying "GOOD HALF"}'' and the evil half. ''{A dotted line points to the right half saying "EVIL HALF.}'' The good half likes positive things, like Self-Esteem, ''{the word "Self-Esteem" appears in the middle of the screen and moves into the "good" half of the brain.}'' Oreo Cheesecake, ''{again, the words appear and move into the brain}'' Bringing Your Old Man a Cold One, ''{again, then cut to a closeup of Gunhaver}'' and all our playsets and toys. ''{Cut back to the diagram.}'' But the evil half likes ''{as each of the next four words is said, is appears from the "evil" half of the brain and moves to the right side of the screen}'' Littering, Loitering, Latering, Lootering, and all the other stuff that causes inappropriate peer-to-teen choice behaviors! ''{The other words vanish and are replaced by "Inappropriate peer-2-teen choice behaviors.}''

''{Cut back to Gunhaver and Reynold.}''

'''REYNOLD:''' But how do ''I'' keep from making peer-to-teen choice awards, Gunhaver?

'''GUNHAVER:''' If you find yourself in a sticky ''{makes "finger quotes"}'' teenage situation, just remember these three pro-positive life tools:

''{Cut to Silent Rip in a classroom, next to a Blue Laser minion. Both appear to be taking tests.}''

'''BLUE LASER MINION:''' What did you get for number four, sir?

'''SILENT RIP:''' Uhhhh...

''{Gunhaver suddenly enters the screen from the bottom.}''

'''GUNHAVER:''' ''Freeze!'' ''{The screen cuts to a diagram of a male body with "PRO-POSITIVE LIFE TOOL" written next to it, and a giant "#1" appears next to it.}'' Pro-positive life tool number one: ''{Gunhaver appears on the screen}'' say you have one of any debilitating gold rush era diseases! ''{He pulls out a book labeled "BIG BOOK OF DEBILITATING GOLD RUSH ERA DISEASES", and "BBODGRED" on the spine.}''

''{Cut back to the classroom.}''

'''BLUE LASER MINION:''' Come on, man. I thought we were bros!

'''SILENT RIP:''' I can't! I have the typhoid! Or the cholera!

'''BLUE LASER MINION:''' Never mind. Your answers are gross, bro.

''{Cut back to Gunhaver and Reynold, the latter of whom is now wearing a false beard and a prospector's hat, and is holding a mining pick.}''

'''REYNOLD:''' Gold rush era diseases, eh?

'''GUNHAVER:''' Now you're getting it!

''{Cut to the supermarket, where two Blue Laser Minions are holding a lot of bottles labeled "WINE COOLA," some of them in their pants, and Fightgar is standing nearby.}''

'''FIRST BLUE LASER MINION:''' Hey, man. We need you to put these wine coolers down your pants... er, down your headband.

'''FIGHTGAR:''' Oh, um, uh...

''{Again, Gunhaver suddenly jumps onto the screen.}''

'''GUNHAVER:''' ''STOP!'' ''{The diagram of the body returns, but now, it's a woman's body. "#2" appears on the side and "EN SAP" at the bottom.}'' Pro-positive life tool numero two: ''{sillhouettes of the two Blue Laser minions and Gunhaver appear with question marks over them. The minions are labeled "INAPPROPRIATORS"}'' Envision your Inappropriators ''{Gunhaver is labeled "STILL JUST YOU" and the minions turn into pizza slices.}'' as giant slices of pizza.

''{Cut back to the supermarket.}''

'''FIGHTGAR:''' Ah-ha ha ha! You're deep-dish! Ah-ha ha! And you've got extra cheese! Ah-ha ha ha ha! Oh, pepperoni!

'''FIRST BLUE LASER MINION:''' What's with this guy?

'''SECOND BLUE LASER MINION:''' He sounds crazy. Should we shoot him?

'''FIRST BLUE LASER MINION:''' Abso-total-lutely!

''{The second minion pulls out a large gun and aims it at Fightgar, who looks startled. The scene cuts back to Gunhaver and Reynold, who is now wearing a baseball cap and holding a bat, with a ball sitting next to him, and we can hear shooting over the next exchange.}''

'''REYNOLD:''' But Gunhaver, I've never had pizza before!

'''GUNHAVER:''' But you know what it looks like, don't you?

'''REYNOLD:''' ''{smiling}'' I think so!

'''GUNHAVER:''' Now you're getting it!

''{Cut to an alley. Firebert walks by in the background, while the Blue Laser Commander is standing next to a building.}''

'''BLUE LASER COMMANDER:''' ''{Jumping out, holding up a candy bar}'' Hey, kid! Wanna smoke some candy with me?

''{The diagram of the body, which now appears to be a bear, appears over the scene this time. "#3" appears on the right. Firebert and Blue Laser Commander lean back to make room for the diagram}''

'''GUNHAVER:''' ''{voiceover}'' Pro-positive life tool number three: ''{The diagram and "#3" disappear, and Silent Rip appears from the side of the building and throws a smoke bomb.}'' Have your light infantry create a thick smokescreen. ''{The commander starts hacking and coughing, while Firebert pulls out a gun and shoots it at the commander.}'' Then lay down some suppressive fire until the snipers are in position. ''{He stops firing.}'' But look out for surface-to-air antioxidant missiles! ''{Firebert jumps out of the way as three missiles just barely miss the Commander.}''

'''BLUE LASER COMMANDER:''' Ah!

'''GUNHAVER:''' ''{voiceover}'' Then by the time Reinforcements shows up...

''{Reinforcements shows up.}''

'''REINFORCEMENTS:''' Hey, guys.

''{Cut to a screen with Gunhaver.}''

'''GUNHAVER:''' ...Your mom ''{an image of a station wagon appears}'' should be waiting for you in the bus turnaround! ''{Cut back to Gunhaver and Reynold.}'' So, do you think you're ready to make ''{more finger quotes}'' appropriate inappropriate whatever thingies now?

'''REYNOLD:''' Yes sir! I'm gonna get high on life!

''{Silent Rip walks up.}''

'''SILENT RIP:''' We're about to start the movie! You guys coming?

'''GUNHAVER:''' What do you think, Reynold?

'''REYNOLD:''' ''{thinks a moment, then grins}'' I've got dysentery!

'''GUNHAVER:''' Good job, little buddy! ''{pushes Reynold offscreen to stage left, then walks with Silent Rip to stage right}'' Man, I can't wait to see some serious pony carnage!

''{Cut to the Commandos in the Classroom logo again.}''

'''ANNOUNCER:''' ''{singing}'' Commandos in the classroom!

''{Cut to an image that reads "NEXT WEEK... LESSON 5: LISTEN YOU GUYS, YOU SERIOUSLY NEED TO START SHOWERING EVERYDAY"}''

'''STRONG BAD:''' All right, so here we are at Trogdor-Con! Got booths set up and lookin' good! So, The Cheat&mdash;these cons... what exactly is gonna go on here?

'''THE CHEAT:''' ''{The Cheat noises}''

'''STRONG BAD:''' Geeks and nerds?! That doesn't sound like anything I wanna be a part of!

'''THE CHEAT:''' ''{The Cheat noises}''

'''STRONG BAD:''' Ladies in skimpy sci-fi costumes? That sounds like everything I wanna be a part of! Are you sure they're in the same place as the geeks and nerds? That doesn't make any sense. Ladies in skimpy outfits should be hanging out with me... and to a lesser degree, football players and rappers. Not geeks, nerds, or any of their smelly brethren.

'''THE CHEAT:''' ''{The Cheat noises}''

'''STRONG BAD:''' Yeah, I'll see it when I believe it.

''{Homestar Runner walks up. He has a paper star taped over his normal star and is wearing a beanie with propeller over his usual cap.}''

'''HOMESTAR RUNNER:''' Oooh, Booth 101! My favorite booth! Hey, guess who I'm supposed to be!

'''STRONG BAD:''' Um, Homestar Runner?

'''HOMESTAR RUNNER:''' Hey, you got it! First try! Was it my star or my propeller cap that gave it away?

'''STRONG BAD:''' It was your unbelievably loose grasp on the world around you.

'''HOMESTAR RUNNER:''' Yeah, I guess I do have one of those. Hey, what kind of cool stuff do you guys have here? Got any pewter figurines or maybe some magna?

'''STRONG BAD:''' Nope, just hangin' out and seeing what walks by.

'''HOMESTAR RUNNER''' Oh oh, I can walk by! Here, watch! ''{Walks off right side of the screen and reappears at left}'' Left, right, left, right, right, right, no&mdash;left, right, left, right ''{exits}''

'''STRONG BAD:''' So, by the way The Cheat, what are gamertags? Why do we have boxes of them behind us?

'''THE CHEAT:''' ''{The Cheat noises}''

'''STRONG BAD:''' So we're not really selling gamertags?

'''THE CHEAT:''' ''{The Cheat noises}''

'''STRONG BAD:''' What're we really gonna be selling? Some of those ''million sided dies''?

'''THE CHEAT:''' ''{The Cheat noises}''

'''STRONG BAD:''' So, us hanging out selling gamertags is a front for us plain ol' hanging out.

'''THE CHEAT:''' ''{The Cheat noises}''

'''STRONG BAD:''' The Cheat, you're a genius! I don't pay you enough!

'''THE CHEAT:''' ''{The Cheat noises}''

'''STRONG BAD:''' Oh right, I don't pay you at all. That's what I meant to say. Let's kick back and see if we can't summon some skimpily clad ladies to yee ol' gamertag booth.

'''THE CHEAT:''' ''{The Cheat noises}''

''{The Cheat jumps onto the table and plays a horn}''

'''STRONG BAD:''' Oh! Where'd you get that bad boy?

'''THE CHEAT:''' ''{The Cheat noises}''

'''STRONG BAD:''' Booth 709, huh? I'll have to go check that out!

'''THE CHEAT:''' ''{The Cheat noises}''

'''STRONG BAD:''' They've got axes and swords!? Man, this con just keeps gettin' better all the time! ''(Strong Sad enters from left, wearing a pair of bat wings, eyeliner, blood teardrops, a tribal-tattoo syle design around his bellybutton, and with his toenails painted black)'' Oh, and we hit a snag.

'''STRONG SAD:''' What are you guys doing here?

'''STRONG BAD:''' Hangin' out. Don't tell nobody, but secretly we're just hangin out.

'''STRONG SAD:''' But didn't it cost money to get a booth?

'''STRONG BAD:''' Look, I don't know where The Cheat got 500 bucks or where your missing 500 bucks is. All I know is that we're hanging out here at TrogdorCon '97! Or in your case, Trog-''dorkon'' '97.

'''STRONG SAD:''' It's not called TrogdorCon and it's 2005!

'''STRONG BAD:''' It might be for you, but ''{pause}'' you're a butt.

'''STRONG SAD:''' That's a good 'un, Strong Bad. Okay, I'm gonna go buy some ''{with exaggerated inflection and movements}'' anime!

'''STRONG BAD:''' It's called japanimation! Least it was last time I checked, which was 1987. ''{The Poopsmith walks by in shadow in his Sleestak costume.}'' I don't know about all this The Cheat. Maybe it's time we filled up that horn of yours with pea soup and tried to shoot it all the way over to that Godzilla guy's booth.

'''THE CHEAT''': ''{holds up a can of pea soup and the horn. Strong Bad and him run off.}''

==Easter Eggs==

* Clicking the 'tag?' on the "gamertag?" sign at the end will result in this:

'''THE KING OF TOWN:'''{drenched in pea soup} Ohhh, somebody picked the wrong authorized Godzilla reseller to mess with today!

* At the end, click on the period on "endeth." to see Strong Bad criticising people's costumes.

'''STRONG BAD:''' Hey, loindcloth, please to be putting on more clothes... Ugh... like five or six... more clothes...

''{cut}''

'''STRONG BAD:''' Oh, what’s up, ironic costume? I suppose you think you’re cooler than everyone here! Well guess what: ''You’re also here.'' At the comic book convention.

''{cut}''

'''STRONG BAD:''' I never thought I’d see the day where a tattoo was a bad thing, but you madam, have shown me the light.

''{cut}''

'''STRONG BAD:''' Just for fun I think I’m gonna start throwing boxes of gamer tags at dudes wearin' kilts.

''{cut}''

'''STRONG BAD''': The fact that your costume is accurate down to the tiniest detail does not change the fact that that tv show sucked.

''{cut}''

'''STRONG BAD''': Man if I see another person in a diaper...

''{cut}''

'''STRONG BAD:''' Oh, hello Rotunda! Your physique certainly merits you wearing that leather bikini and fishnet hose.

==Fun Facts==
===Explanations===
*Instead of "magna" (Latin for "great"), Homestar was probably trying to say "[[Wikipedia:manga|manga]]", which is the print equivalent of [[Wikipedia:anime|anime]].

===Remarks===
*Strong Bad has been shown paying The Cheat in [[lackey]], albeit with pencil shavings.
*This is the longest "short" to date, and is similar in size to two recently released "toons." In fact, it is even longer than the "toons" [[Parsnips A-Plenty]], [[The Reddest Radish]], and [[In Search Of The Yello Dello DVD]].

===Inside References===
*The Poopsmith's Sleestak costume was first seen in "[[Pumpkin Carve-nival]]".
*The King of Town is shown to hate peas in [[different town]].
*Strong Bad mentions [[1987]] as being the last time he checked whether anime was the same as japanimation.

===Real-World References===
*Booth 101 was the booth that [[The Brothers Chaps|Mike and Matt]] had at [[Store#DragonCon|DragonCon]].
*Gamertags are accounts used by Xbox Live subscribers.
*The diaper reference may be taken from the Alphonse Elric character in [[Wikipedia:Fullmetal Alchemist|''Fullmetal Alchemist'']] where his apron has been mistaken by the others for a diaper.
