:Actually, that's not an unlikely possiblity. Note that Tim Tom seems to live near a beach, whereas The Isle of Poms, for no logical reason whatsoever, resembles a medicine capsule. Perhaps the beach is part of the Isle of Poms and TBC have decided to abandon the idea of a capsule for a proper island. == Unfair Pick ==
So I've been thinking about this for a few days and finally reached the following Conclusion: Strong Sad was on Strong Bad's Team even though Homestar called him. Allow me to explain, because this obviously contradicts the toon. First, Homestar picks Pom-Pom. Strong Bad makes a pick AND THEN Homestar picks Pom-Pom again, which also counts as a valid pick. Cut to Strong Sad, Homestar yells out Pom-Pom first and then another thing, making that his valid picks and nullifying his double-side-whisper-draft because it would have to be a triple-side-whisper-draft to account for the third pick (which I cannot remember), instead of Strong Sad. He also allows Strong Bad to pick Strong Sad as a team-mate without calling the whisper draft (perfectly legal according to the "rule" book) and telling him he can't in much the same way he did with Pom-Pom. By not calling Strong Sad then, he nulled his own cheating by allowing Strong Bad to pick. So there it is, let the "your wrong"s abound! [[User:Stinkoblade|Stinkoblade]] 13:52, 24 March 2009 (UTC)

Wow. Can't believe I'm actually doing this. Er, uh, when The Cheat "kicks" the ball, Homestar's feet are behind home plate; when he lands near the base, Homestar's feet appear again on the field near the base. Would this count as [[Duplicate Characters]] or no since the feet don't appear at the exact same time (which actually would be like in Homestar Ruiner anyway so...) And while I'm asking stuff, it's mentioned in the transcript while Homestar is repeating what the Announcer said that The Cheat was on the base behind him, but it doesn't mention Strong Sad could be seen in the background during the Announcer's scene. I think the bit at the end when the characters walk past each other repeating the phrase "good game" in a slightly melancholy fashion is a reference to the Richard Linklater film "Dazed and Confused", in which a similar scene takes place. This being a movie reference would explain the sudden change in mood in all characters. If this has already been mentioned and dismissed, then I apologise. It does sound very much like the sort of thing TBC would reference though, and it made me smile.

I'll grant that the final "n" is a bit unclear, but the initial "n" in "nine" is quite clear, meaning it can't be "1980i". They are entitled [[Books by Sportsinterviewses#This Book is Better Than 1st, 2nd, and Quite Possibly Even 3rd Base|first, second, and third base]]. The goal of the game is: after hitting the ball (via bat or foot), to run to each of these bases in succession. After the third base, you return to home plate, at which time your team scores a point. There are people at the opposing team who "play" each base, whose job it is to catch the ball before you get there, thereby forcing you to sit down until you can hit again and forfeiting the opportunity for you to obtain points that turn.

A recently added remarks states that Homestar's whisper draft when slowed down actually sounds like "wait". However, I think it's hard to determine exactly what he's saying because:
*The compression of the audio on the site is higher than the less-lossy audio on [[YouTube]] and the [[:Category:DVDs|DVDs]]. This affects the quality of the slowdown.
*The music in the background could affect Homestar's whisper, in addition to the above point.
On top of this, is this remark necessary? I feel like it's taking the joke apart a little bit. Anyway, before anyone rebuts, I want to point out that Homestar starts by saying "Pom Pom, bull pen", and not "Pom Pom, Strong Sad" (or "Strong Bad") in the file. :Actually, that's not an unlikely possiblity. Note that Tim Tom seems to live near a beach, whereas The Isle of Poms, for no logical reason whatsoever, resembles a medicine capsule. Perhaps the beach is part of the Isle of Poms and TBC have decided to abandon the idea of a capsule for a proper island. So I've been thinking about this for a few days and finally reached the following Conclusion: Strong Sad was on Strong Bad's Team even though Homestar called him. Allow me to explain, because this obviously contradicts the toon. First, Homestar picks Pom-Pom. Strong Bad makes a pick AND THEN Homestar picks Pom-Pom again, which also counts as a valid pick. Cut to Strong Sad, Homestar yells out Pom-Pom first and then another thing, making that his valid picks and nullifying his double-side-whisper-draft because it would have to be a triple-side-whisper-draft to account for the third pick (which I cannot remember), instead of Strong Sad. He also allows Strong Bad to pick Strong Sad as a team-mate without calling the whisper draft (perfectly legal according to the "rule" book) and telling him he can't in much the same way he did with Pom-Pom. ::As far as I can tell, it is the original Optimus Prime from the old show. The other Autobots had similar, but distinctly different heads, while the Decepticons had slightly more angles and "evil" looks on thier faces. Hasboro may have used the head on other characters action figures since then, and I haven't seen the newer shows enough to guarantee that it is the only Transformer ever to have used that particular head. # Optimus has a large vertical grilled box that dominates his forehead. This Transformer does not.

I'm sure that if you look around, you could isolate a Tranformer that matches it, if not at least a dozen, minimum (hell, I could even ask my brother, who keeps track of that kind of thing much more than I do). Because of that, I would say that it's just supposed to be a generic Transformer.

:Well Mr. Hope, upon reviewing the pictures you provided, the painting looks even more like Optimus to me than it did before. The "mouth" you describe on this painting looks like nothing more than a dent in his faceplate, and not something that would be big enough to even be a mouth. His forehead piece may have been too complex for the Brothers Chaps to include in The Cheat's stencil, and the antenna-rod things you describe are only apparent in the action figure, and that appears to be a little stylized. In the cartoon, they look kind of small and uncool. It is possible TBC based this simple little drawing off only the cartoon, determining the horns took away from the leader of the Autobots. Or maybe the drew it like this to stimulate some debate for them to read and laugh at. Who knows? Anyway, the page doesn't state that it is absoultely Optimus, but maybe we ought to put this in the STUFF Vote section.

Ok, I had the TV on Cartoon Network waiting for Family Guy to start and "Cartoon Cartoon" was on. The clip showing had some cartoon bear with a transparant tank holding an evil brain with eyes on his head. The brain had designed some kind of super weapon . Lo and behold, it was Rad Rad Robotank! It had almost the exact same head, and tank body with two comicly large canon on either side instead of the one normal one. Well okay, but if that's Homestar then it would seem we have to accept the following:
# Homestar owns or rents a "fancy" doublewide trailer.
# Homestar has a portrait of Strong Bad holding a skunk hanging in his doublewide.
# Homestar has a cool portrait of a unicorn on a snowmobile hanging in his doublewide.
# Homestar keeps Cold Ones in his trailer.
# Strong Bad is impressed by something Homestar owns (he speaks favorably of the trailer and both pieces of art).
# Strong Bad passes up the opportunity to comment on all this. Ordinarily, he would be outwardly upset at having to admit Homestar owns or has done something cool, and would either change his opinion about said coolness or comment that Homestar has no business owning such things. Or maybe fall into despondency.
Based on everything we know about both of these characters, it just doesn't make any sense to me. Best I can figure is that it's the real owner of the doublewide using a Homestar quote to fit the situation (which happens around my house all the time, especially when anything happens with anything that's blue). And the accent really isn't quite right at the end of the quote.

I'm happy to be proven wrong ... somebody make sense out of all the above for me, please.

(In fact I'd venture to say the ''majority'' of things we see are hypothetical!) We have the entire page [[Places Strong Bad Made Up]] as a result. This is one such place (although, as I said above, I don't think it should be added to the page). Strong Bad started hypothesizing about himself as a black velvet painting, then extended the speculation to the fact that it would hang in a double-wide; then as a nice touch we discover that the double-wide belongs to Trailer Homestar. Who carves things in walls (as opposed to [[Cool Things|painting them]]), sits around drinking cold ones, and chucks the bottles at the wall. ::As far as I can tell, it is the original Optimus Prime from the old show. The other Autobots had similar, but distinctly different heads, while the Decepticons had slightly more angles and "evil" looks on thier faces. Hasboro may have used the head on other characters action figures since then, and I haven't seen the newer shows enough to guarantee that it is the only Transformer ever to have used that particular head. # Optimus has a large vertical grilled box that dominates his forehead. This Transformer does not.

I'm sure that if you look around, you could isolate a Tranformer that matches it, if not at least a dozen, minimum (hell, I could even ask my brother, who keeps track of that kind of thing much more than I do). Because of that, I would say that it's just supposed to be a generic Transformer.

:Well Mr. Hope, upon reviewing the pictures you provided, the painting looks even more like Optimus to me than it did before. The "mouth" you describe on this painting looks like nothing more than a dent in his faceplate, and not something that would be big enough to even be a mouth. His forehead piece may have been too complex for the Brothers Chaps to include in The Cheat's stencil, and the antenna-rod things you describe are only apparent in the action figure, and that appears to be a little stylized. In the cartoon, they look kind of small and uncool. It is possible TBC based this simple little drawing off only the cartoon, determining the horns took away from the leader of the Autobots. Or maybe the drew it like this to stimulate some debate for them to read and laugh at. Who knows? Anyway, the page doesn't state that it is absoultely Optimus, but maybe we ought to put this in the STUFF Vote section.

Ok, I had the TV on Cartoon Network waiting for Family Guy to start and "Cartoon Cartoon" was on. Well okay, but if that's Homestar then it would seem we have to accept the following:
# Homestar owns or rents a "fancy" doublewide trailer.
# Homestar has a portrait of Strong Bad holding a skunk hanging in his doublewide.
# Homestar has a cool portrait of a unicorn on a snowmobile hanging in his doublewide.
# Homestar keeps Cold Ones in his trailer.
# Strong Bad is impressed by something Homestar owns (he speaks favorably of the trailer and both pieces of art).
# Strong Bad passes up the opportunity to comment on all this. Ordinarily, he would be outwardly upset at having to admit Homestar owns or has done something cool, and would either change his opinion about said coolness or comment that Homestar has no business owning such things. Or maybe fall into despondency.
Based on everything we know about both of these characters, it just doesn't make any sense to me. Best I can figure is that it's the real owner of the doublewide using a Homestar quote to fit the situation (which happens around my house all the time, especially when anything happens with anything that's blue). And the accent really isn't quite right at the end of the quote.

I'm happy to be proven wrong ... somebody make sense out of all the above for me, please.

Thus this can be Homestar ''and'' Bob & Doug (though I really don't think they should get a Fun Fact). On the reality of what we're seeing, no, not everything we see in a sbemail is H*R-reality. (In fact I'd venture to say the ''majority'' of things we see are hypothetical!) We have the entire page [[Places Strong Bad Made Up]] as a result. This is one such place (although, as I said above, I don't think it should be added to the page). Strong Bad started hypothesizing about himself as a black velvet painting, then extended the speculation to the fact that it would hang in a double-wide; then as a nice touch we discover that the double-wide belongs to Trailer Homestar. Who carves things in walls (as opposed to [[Cool Things|painting them]]), sits around drinking cold ones, and chucks the bottles at the wall. (And, although the voice indicated grogginess in [[caper]], I think here it indicates the ravages of years of alcohol and hollerin' at his woman. Plus a current state of significant inebriation). Please do not, on the basis of these remarks, create a page for "Trailer Homestar" or the place. == Here are my thoughts on the situation ==

Before I started using AdBlock on the Firefox browser I'm using, I saw a couple of those badly-made Flash game banner advertisements by FreePay (for example). I'm saying it's weird because there's apparently a time limit on things or whatever, especially on this odd shooting gallery-type thing where you're supposed to shoot targets. And this "time limit" in this case is when all the targets pass the length of the banner and the screen says "you lose, try again" and restarts from the beginning on its own. How weird is that? Also, I saw one where the objective is to cut a certain color wire to avoid a time bomb going off, but apparently those wires twist and turn around [[Main Page 15|"like they don't care"]].

Also, since the SBEmail song for this one is similar to [[trading cards]], and that song stated dribbling down the court with an email, wouldn't it fit with the fact that in this one, a basketball is blocked?

Oh yeah, anyone see http://www.pbskids.org/dontbuyit ? They have examples of this sort.

Why was my real world reference addition about the TV show "The Office" deleted? Can anyone give another plausible explanation for why Pom Pom is carrying a bike through the office? Don't you think the similarities between the character Josh Porter and Pom Pom (carrying bike through office, being the boss) are enough to qualify as a real world reference? I dunno, maybe nobody here has seen the EMMY AWARD WINNING SHOW The Office, hmm?! I for one am sure that the Brothers Chaps have.

::I have a good friend who works for an alarm and security company. His boss also has a contract with Segway to sell those. He's seen Segwaying around and lets employees take them home to show their neighbors. I also have worked for a few bosses who are archetypical sports-jocks, and seeing them with a bike or similar stuff isn't anything to bat an eye. I've never watched that TV T-V show you're referring to, but I think even if I had I'd still relate the bike to bosses in general being go-do-it types who'd be regularly seen with the "toys of their craft" by their employees. I have taken an ICT course and my teacher mentioned that when you "Log Off" the computer is still on, but you user name/admin what ever is "off" so other user can log it on their accounts, but If you "Log Out" the whole computer is off "Another Words" Logout is the same as "Shut Down".  1. SB, in typing "Nevermind", referred to the 1992 Nirvana album Nevermind.
