STRONG BAD: {very quickly} Hassaro, heesaro. Hassaro, heesaro!

{Reading email}

{Strong Bad reads "Strong Bad" stressing "Strong" as if it were "Dear," says "Homestar has a website?" after reading "Homestar Runner's Website for a long time" and says "Oh..." before reading the signature}

STRONG BAD: Umm, Endiment...? {typing} Hang on Endiment. Just for the record, my main man is, and has been since 1987, Van Mundegaarde. And don't you forget it.

{not typing, a little picture of Strong Bad with a note from Strong Bad to Van comes down}

STRONG BAD: Oh, Van, the times we shared. {typing} Well, as you know, Endy, Strong Badia is on the cutting edge of the future. I can easily predict that the population will have tripled in two years.

{Cut to Strong Badia}

STRONG BAD: {voiceover} So by then it will be population: tire and...bundt cake pan.

{A bundt cake pan appears out of nowhere. The sign changes its population list accordingly.}

STRONG BAD:...and Coach Z.

{Coach Z appears behind the fence, facing away from the camera. The sign changes its population list accordingly again.}

COACH Z: I'm takin' a leak!

STRONG BAD: {voiceover} I also have some good news for you single ladies out there. The cinder block is going to break up with the sign.

{The stopsign moves away from the cinder block, and a letter from the cinder block to the sign appears on-screen.}

CINDER BLOCK: Dear Stop Sign, you are a stop sign and I am a cinder block.

{The letter disappears}

STRONG BAD: {voiceover} Ooh! And we will also have developed a world-class hole.

{A hole appears in the ground}

STRONG BAD: {voiceover} And by then, hopefully The Cheat will be finished with the mural I commissioned him to paint on the fence...

{A mural of the words "FIReWORKS or die" appears on the fence}

STRONG BAD: {voiceover} ...like a freakin' year ago. Slowbie. Oh yeah, and the tire will have definitely won the title.

(A belt appears on the tire and an invisible crowd cheers.)

STRONG BAD: And finally, Strong Sad will have actually succeeded in becoming more whiny.

{Strong Sad appears out of nowhere}

STRONG SAD: {pouty voice} I don't like food anymore!

{Cut back to the Compy}

STRONG BAD: {typing} Augh. So annoying. Oh, that reminds me. I should probably go let Strong Sad outta the dryer. He's been in there since breakfast.

{The Paper comes down. After about 15 seconds, Strong Bad gets up. Cut to the dryer. Strong Bad opens it, and discovers a dizzy, fluffy The Cheat.}

STRONG BAD: What the—? The Cheat?! Where the crap did I leave Strong Sad?

{Cut to The King of Town's grill. It's closed, but we can hear Strong Sad's voice from within.}

STRONG SAD: Uh, hello? Can anybody hear me? The Cheat has a really nice place in here. And none of his shirts fit me.

{Cut back to the Compy, with Strong Bad sitting at it as before.}

Easter Eggs

  • You can click on the words "Homestar Runner's Website" to see a quick peek at it. This can only be done between when he reads the words and when he says "Homestar has a website?"
  • After you wait and see what happened to Strong Sad, you can click on the reflection of Strong Bad's blue diamond to see the advertisement for the "Rematch" between Strong Mad and the Tire.
{Cut to black screen.}
VOICEOVER: Revenge.
{Everything he says echoes ridiculously. The word "REVENGE" appears in red on the screen and Strong Mad is seen on the left, half-lit. He then disappears.}
VOICEOVER: Vengeance.
{The word "VENGEANCE" is now seen on the screen and the Tire, as with Strong Mad, appears half-lit on the right. It also disappears.}
VOICEOVER: Vengeful.
{The word "VENGEFUL" appears and Strong Mad appears as before, more briefly this time.}
VOICEOVER: Revengeanceful.
{The word "REVENGEANCEFUL" appears and the Tire reappears and disappears as before. Then Strong Mad is seen straight on, coming closer to the screen.}
VOICEOVER: This Sunday, watch as Strong Mad attempts to reclaim the title—
{Title belts appear around Strong Mad's eyes, and his face starts fading into red}
VOICEOVER: —from Strong Badia heavyweight champion,—
{The whole screen turns red and the Tire appears on the screen, growing toward us.}
VOICEOVER: —the Tire. Tire Madness.
{A red Tire Madness logo appears, flashes, and explodes onto the screen, which briefly turns yellow, then reverts to red.}
VOICEOVER: Only on pay per view.
{The words "ONLY ON PAY PER VIEW!!!" flash in yellow at the bottom.}

Fun Facts

Trivia

  • The note on the photograph presumably given to Van Mundegaarde reads:
To My Main Man
Van Mundegaarde,
Keep Rocking it 1987-style.
-Strong
Bad
  • The full text of the letter the Cinder Block writes is:
Dear Stop Sign,
You are a stop sign and I am a
cinder block. Therefore I think
we should break up. I hope we
can still be's friends.

Love Always,
Cinder Block
  • It's been confirmed that E. Fullmer's first initial stands for "Elder" Fullmer (not Endiment), indicating that he is about to become a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (sometimes called the Mormon church). This could explain why he will be going on a two-year trip and will not be able to check the website for two years, as that is how long young men serve as Mormon missionaries, and they are usually not allowed to surf the Internet during that time.
  • The Homestar portrait on his website is done using the repoussé technique.
  • The "Tire Madness" Logo is similar to the logo used by the now-defunct WCW organization.

Remarks

  • The No Loafing sign can be seen when Strong Bad finds The Cheat in the dryer, though the sign is known to be located in the Computer Room.
  • This email was released in September 2003, so the changes Strong Bad mentions should have come into fruition by 2005. To date, however, none of these predictions have panned out.
  • The fact that Strong Sad says "The Cheat has a really nice place in here" while he is in The King of Town's grill (and the fact that he fits in it at all) can confirm that The King's grill is much more spacious on the inside than it looks.

Inside References

  • The music that plays when the Cinder Block's note is displayed is the same music that played in A Decemberween Pageant when Marzipan was talking to The Cheat (right after Strong Bad had said, "There's a squid.") and, later, in pom pom when Strong Bad is writing the letter to Pom Pom's parents.
  • The Cinder Block's note marks the first instance of be's.
  • Strong Sad's being in The King of Town's Grill is a reference to Where's The Cheat?.
  • Coach Z's line "I'm taking a leak!" is a reference to peeing.

Fast Forward

  • The Cheat ends up in the dryer again in lady fan.
  • geddup noise, the email that actually came out two years later, does coincidentally refer to the email before this one, but it does not feature Strong Badia. However, none of Strong Bad's predictions have come true.
  • That glossy autographed photo of Strong Bad appears again in Strongest Man in the World.

DVD Version

  • The Homestar's website Easter egg is actually part of the email. When you switch the angle using the angle button on your DVD remote, it pops up like a regular webpage window and sticks around for ten or fifteen seconds.
  • The Cheat in the Dryer and Strong Sad in the Grill Easter eggs have now been separated. You can now find Strong Sad by selecting a hidden Strong Bad icon in the lower-left corner of the Compy 386 screen.
