Once A Week?

This was once a day last week. Why did it change? - Bad Graphics Ghost

I don't know the entire story, but you can find the talk about it here, here, and here. --DorianGray
Hmm... thanks. - Bad Graphics Ghost

Updating the Main Page

The Main Page is set up to automatically change the featured article from week to week. All one needs to do it purge the Main Page cache to make sure this happens. -- Tom 06:38, 6 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Next week

Hey, there's no article for the 26th week! What are we to do? *dispair* --AndrewNeo 01:58, 23 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Actually, there is. --ColorPrinter 16:34, 25 Jun 2005 (UTC)

The question is...is there one for next week? --ColorPrinter 12:10, 1 Jul 2005 (UTC)

Homeschool Winner

What happened to Homeschool's article in this list? I remember going to appear on Week 23, but apparently was replaced. --Gafaddict 03:43, 3 Jul 2005 (UTC)

I think that Homeschool Winner page might be a little small, so I picked Bubs' Concession Stand for Week 27. I hope you'll agree that Bubs' page is a good choice to represent the many quality articles that appear on our wiki. (More so than a short article such as Homeschool Winner). —THE PAPER PREEEOW 03:34, 4 Jul 2005 (UTC)

Bubs' Concession Stand for Week 27

Since the space for Week 27 was empty, I decided to add a featured article about Bubs' Concession Stand . I felt it was the best choice and if JoeyDay or any other admin feels it should be changed, they should go right ahead and do so. I believe I did all the necessary steps (including purging the main page and protecting the featured image). I think the description paragraph might need another sentence or two. —THE PAPER PREEEOW 03:27, 4 Jul 2005 (UTC)

Teen Girl Squad for Week 28

I noticed that there is not featured article for week 28 and time is running out. I will most likely pick Teen Girl Squad if there are no objections and no one else steps in with another candidate. After all, it's better than having a big empty space on the left-hand side of the main page! —THE PAPER PREEEOW 21:03, 10 Jul 2005 (UTC)

Let's do this like Brutus. -BazookaJoe 21:05, 10 Jul 2005 (UTC)
Strong Bad's Message Bored was a fine selection for this week. You get a trophy! —THE PAPER PREEEOW 06:55, 11 Jul 2005 (UTC)

A new template

If Wikipedia have a Featured Article Template why not us? Elcool (talk)(contribs) 16:01, 22 Aug 2005 (UTC)

I took the liberty to make one myself. I'm kind of new in this all tamplate stuff, So if anyone would like to edit it, go right ahead. Elcool (talk)(contribs) 19:14, 27 Aug 2005 (UTC)

Listing them ahead of time

I don't really like listing all created FA's well before they are featured. Most of the the FA's-in-waiting right now are not quite in tip-top shape and should not be made readily visible to the average passer-by. Also, I don't really want the average passer-by to read all of the FA's weeks or even days in advance; it spoils the fun and surprise of FA's, I think. So, I'm all for keeping this list for all that have been featured and the one that is currently featured. —BazookaJoe 03:45, 19 October 2005 (UTC)

Definently. If anything, they should be behind, since as long as the current one is up, it doesn't need to be here too. Perhaps a hidden code note at the top of the page if overzealous users are giving you trouble? EDIT: Haha, I just realized our Resident Deity was the "overzealous user". In any case, I stand by my original opinion. Thunderbird 03:56, 19 October 2005 (UTC)
I agree too. I like the "surprise factor" of it... And all the other stuff too. Especially the bit about not being in top shape for the average passerby. I support your decision wholeheartedly. --DorianGray

Other weeks?

Why aren't all the weeks before 21 listed on the page? The very bottom is Homestar Runner, and that is as far is it goes? SaltyTalk! 03:15, 12 December 2005 (UTC)

There wasn't a featured article before then. —Zelinda 03:25, 12 December 2005 (UTC)
