Hey I was thinking we should get a stop on Bus No. 1 too, the other eclectic stops seem to have em. Well, at least the first two I was able to click on. The green museum wasn't working. --[[User:Stux|Stux]] 21:19, 6 February 2006 (UTC)

Page has been created

It's dot com and I have finished the TourBus stop page. Everybody like it? I'm going to submit it either tomorrow (yes, I know that technically it's already Friday) or Saturday, depending on when I can get on the net next and if HR.com updates. — User:ACupOfCoffee@ @ 06:33, 30 December 2005 (UTC)

Suggestion

I think that the Tour bus stop should have a link to HRWiki:Introduction somewhere, perhaps in the Main Page section so that users can then get an introduction and tour of this wiki. --Stux 15:42, 30 December 2005 (UTC)

Stop creation

This thread is a continuation of this discussion.

Judging by the tour bus stop template at Meatball Wiki (Which, incidentally, would probably have been a better place for the HRWiki article on Wikipedia. Hindsight is always 20/20, it seems.) we just need a page with a short description of this wiki, and links to at least three pages we think people who are new to this particular wiki should see. That sounds just like what Stux had said above. This shouldn't be much of anything in the way of setting up a new page for it. The only caveat is that there's a requirement that the page be named TourBusStop, which is currently a redirect to this page. — User:ACupOfCoffee@ @ 05:06, 30 December 2005 (UTC)
If we want to get a stop on a TourBus, we're gonna need that page on Meatball Wiki. Who's up for creating it? — User:ACupOfCoffee@ @ 05:35, 30 December 2005 (UTC)

I think the wiki article and tour bus article are slightly different things. The page looks good, the thing left would be linking them to the correct bus system and all that. I thought about it but really wasn't sure which line to put in under (other than #1?). I might have some time later in the day i'll see if i can work on that. --Stux 15:42, 30 December 2005 (UTC)

Wikis usually go first on line 6, the ECLECTIC-WIKI-TOUR, until where to put them can really be sorted out. I've got the request for connection template almost complete and am going to add it to the list in just a few minutes. — User:ACupOfCoffee@ @ 01:54, 31 December 2005 (UTC)
Cool! Looks like you got this sorted out. I'll be looking forward to see the connection in play! --Stux 02:14, 31 December 2005 (UTC)

Hello Folks! This is great work here! You might also want to check out WikiNode --Best, MarkDilley

This is what he wrote on our TourBusStop application:
It would be an honor to have HomestarRunnerWiki on the EclecticWikiTour?, even if only for a short while while MediaWikiTour? comes together! I would love to start you off first, I think that might be a pattern I like for new additions to the tour... hmmm.... Best, MarkDilley

Awesome! --Stux 03:20, 2 January 2006 (UTC)

We're in

I've just edited us into tour number 6 ECLECTIC-WIKI-TOUR so the stop is now open. — User:ACupOfCoffee@ @ 06:48, 6 January 2006 (UTC)

I can't find it. I went through the whoe Eclectic tour on bus 6, and just went in circles. Who's supposed to link to us? -AtionSong 22:35, 6 January 2006 (UTC)
We're first on it. All I did was add us on the TourBusMap. Thanks for pointing that out. Now that I know it's supposed to go in a loop, I'll get somebody to get on that. — User:ACupOfCoffee@ @ 02:31, 8 January 2006 (UTC)
