Needed?

I don't see the need to fix every red link in our interface just 'cause. Why do we need this? Doesn't the name of the group speak for itself? Same thing for HRWiki:Autoconfirmed users. Sure, that page could be used to answer the age old question of "Why can't I x yet?" But, if a standard, short explanation would even require a link, I think Special:ListGroupRights would easily suffice instead. Unless someone is able to give these pages a better purpose besides filling a void, I say delete both. The red links probably weren't hurting, but now that the pages have been created, I see no reason to delete them. Filling them with basic content and maybe a link is probably better than nothing. — It's dot com 01:43, 26 January 2011 (UTC)
I think red links in the interface are pretty ugly, and on those grounds alone say keep. Heimstern Läufer 11:10, 26 January 2011 (UTC)
So you think that we should create Help:Group rights, just because there's another red link in Special:ListGroupRights? I don't see the point of that. I agree with Dot com, since they're already created, there's no point in deleting them. Deleting these pages and creating new ones to fill holes in the interface would only further add what I would consider to be unneeded entries in the database. Keep both; don't continue to fix red links in the interface. Soiled Bargains (talk|ctrb) 23:24, 26 January 2011 (UTC)
Yes, we should eliminate red links on official pages. (Note that this doesn't always mean making a page. Sometimes we can just remove the link, as I did in this case, or using a redirect.) Red links are unsightly and on the unprofessional side. — It's dot com 02:21, 27 January 2011 (UTC)
Fixing them whatever way is best is fine by me. Heimstern Läufer 13:27, 27 January 2011 (UTC)
