Sid Hoffman, or Sid Frenchman?

Homestar Runner's "Sid" Game is a game from the Strong Bad Email "date". It was demonstrated by Homestar to Marzipan. Homestar asks what he's going to say next: either "Sid Hoffman" or "Sid Frenchman". If the correct answer is guessed, one point is awarded. You can access it by clicking the words 'that game' in the email.

Originally, if 20 points were earned in the game, it would display a "prize" — an image of Strong Bad on his computer with an "M" on it. It may have been a glitch or an unfinished Easter egg, and has since been fixed/removed; the game now continues indefinitely, with no prize or ending.

Fun Facts

  • To cheat, click both buttons in either order after the question. A point will be earned regardless of which answer Homestar gives. Clicking the correct button after Homestar begins saying the last name will also win the point (this can also be used to change a correct answer to an incorrect answer).
  • On the old version, once 20 points were gained, Homestar would move his mouth fast, possibily congratulating the player, although with no sound. Right after this, it flashes "REWARD!" in red text. Then it cuts to Strong bad sitting at the Compy 386, stuck at the frame where he types an "M_". This sentence is stuck from the scene before you can get to the game, so the M is for "Marzipan's..".
