"Well, I'll just, uh, put these pants on..."

Homestar Runner's pants are somewhat of a mystery; does he wear white, skin-tight long pants? Or did he glue blue soles to the bottoms of his feet? The Brothers Chaps keep this running gag going by keeping the references ambiguous.

  • Everybody Knows It — The ending scene, where Homestar asks The Cheat, "I guess you'll go on back to putting dog food in my shoes, huh?" appears to disprove that he has soles glued to his feet.
  • New Boots — Although it is just The Cheat's interpretation of Homestar, he is nevertheless shown wearing socks and separate shoes.
  • Homestar Ruiner — During the cutscene where Homestar Runner is trying to leave the locker room naked, he still has blue soles on the bottoms of his feet. However, Strong Bad steals Homestar's "shoes" that are clearly visible in the locker.
