New Stuff

New Stuff was a category on the TV Time Toons Menu, in place from 2007 through 2020. As the name suggests, this section listed the toons that had recently been added to the site.

History
The TV Time Toons Menu features a television atop a cabinet with several VHS tapes visible inside. When first launched, all the tapes were simply labeled "Joy of Painting" (with a yellow-labeled one featuring an Easter egg). By default, the menu would show the list of Big Toons.
The "New Stuff" section was implemented February 12, 2007. One of the VHS tapes was now labeled with a bright red "NEW STUFF!", navigating to the New Stuff menu when clicked; furthermore, the newest toons were shown when first loading the page. This section listed all toons released since 2007. The New Stuff category also included Strong Bad Emails, Teen Girl Squad issues, Marzipan's Answering Machine episodes, Hremails, and Main Pages. All Answering Machine episodes, Teen Girl Squad issues, and emails in the New Stuff menu had 3-letter channel abbreviations based on their category: SBE for Strong Bad Emails, MAM for Marzipan's Answering Machine, TGS for Teen Girl Squad, and HSE for Hremails. Some toons, including Hremails, ads for Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People, and Sbemailiarized!, appeared only on the New Stuff page. Hremails were added to the Shorts category soon after the New Stuff's removal, while the other New Stuff exclusives cannot be found on the updated site.
Latest Stuff
After the post-Flash site update on December 31, 2020, it was succeeded by "Latest Stuff". This section, again loading by default when first visiting the Toons page, is now accessed through the first button on the menu remote.
Though New Stuff was its own self-contained list (sometimes including descriptions and entries not found in other categories), the Latest Stuff category is simply generated by gathering the latest 30 toons from across the other categories. This means that as new toons are released, old ones are removed from the bottom of the list; by contrast, New Stuff continually added entries to its list. Additionally, the toon type is now appended to the front of each title, separated by a dash.
The tape on the shelf that was formerly labeled "NEW STUFF!" tape now reads "Moscow Peace Festival" in plain gray text. Clicking it does not do anything.
