In the Homestar Runner body of work, there have been times characters have been sent to prison or have referenced prison.
Appearances
- Email video games — Strong Bad says during his intro that "Email is like a prison. A prison with no walls... and no toilet." He also says the email sender is someone from the inside and wishes he get out soon.
- Email stupid stuff — In an Easter egg at the end of the email, you can listen to the Grumblecakes' jingle, which is: "Only liars and thieves eat Grumblecakes, and those people go to prison. Just ask The Cheat!"
- Strong Bad is in Jail Cartoon — Strong Bad and The Cheat are thrown in jail for trying to rob Bubs' Concession Stand and are thrown in jail again following a jailbreak and subsequent crime spree.
- Email time capsule — In an Easter egg at the end of the email, the Grumblecakes jingle plays before Strong Bad's R&B-esque version of the jingle.
- Grumblecakes (video) — In the beginning of the video, the Grumblecakes jingle plays before switching over to Strong Bad's R&B-esque version of the jingle.
- Email portrait — Disappointed in Strong Mad's macaroni picture, Strong Bad says he could have hired a five-year-old kindergartener to make a macaroni picture, but he finds doing such a thing creepy and something he would likely go to jail for.
- Teen Girl Squad Issue 11— So and So gets sent to prison for life plus whenever her step-mom comes get her due to shoplifting.
- Fan Costumes '06 — Strong Bad remarks that The Cheat's Hot Mom is always in and out of prison.
- Blubb-O's Commercial — Coach Z, dressed as the Drive-Thru Whale, makes Strong Sad think that Coach Z is sometimes trying go to prison.
- Email rated — One of the movies mentioned is "Women's Penitentiary Bake Sale Nightmare".
- Play Date — When Homestar Runner is calling around, Bubs is revealed to be in federal prison and Coach Z is in juvenile prison. In an Easter egg at the end of the toon, Bubs says he got out of federal prison for snitchy behavior.
- Dangeresque 3: The Criminal Projective — Dangeresque visits Baron Darin Diamonocle in Brainblow City Prison.
- Dangeresque Roomisode 1: Behind the Dangerdesque — Dangeresque can end up in prison if he fails to complete the case file or ticks off The Chief.
- 2 Part Episode: Part 1 — Blue Laser Commander gets thrown in prison, which doubles as Reynold's office.
- 2 Part Episode: Part 2 — Blue Laser Commander gets busted out of prison.
