A sandwich is anything that can fit between two pieces of bread. Sometimes spelled sammich.

- The House That Gave Sucky Treats — The automatic email subject line to vote for Homsar for best costume is "Homsar Salad Sandwich".
- Email island — Believing that he and Homestar Runner would try to eat each other on a desert island, Strong Bad suggests that he would think his foot would look like a sandwich and he would try to eat it.
- Email colonization — Strong Bad and The Cheat set sail for Strong Badia with three stout sub sandwiches.
- Email for kids — At the end of the email, Strong Bad says he's going to get an ice cream sandwich.
- Teen Girl Squad Issue 9 (YouTube version) — At the beginning of the comic, it is suggested that What's Her Face will get a summer job as a sandwich artist.
- Email secret identity — Homestar breaks into Strong Bad's house once again to make the Poopsmith a sandwich, and then tells Strong Bad he is out of mayonnaise.
- Peasant's Quest — Dropping the baby down the well and bringing it back up again will yield a meatball sub sandwich as a reward. Rather Dashing can give the meatball sub to one of the Keepers of Trogdor to avoid taking a trivia quiz.
- Email dangeresque 3 — Strong Sad is holding a very large sandwich while Dangeresque and Dangeresque Too are in Istanbul. Strong Bad is later seen in a photograph eating the sandwich, much to Strong Sad's dismay.
- Halloween Potion-ma-jig — The King of Town is digging for a ham sandwich he buried when he was nine. Homestar claims he already found it.
- Email space program — The Strong Badian Administration of Some Aluminum Foil instructional video suggests that Harold "Strap" Coopmore would like a grilled cheese sandwich. It then displays an image of an actual grilled cheese sandwich. The image later appears in an Easter egg, interrupting Space Captainface's "Captainface Log".
- Email fan club — Strong Bad compares fans and fan clubs by saying it is the opposite of the difference between a plain turkey with a turkey club [sandwich]. While the Deleteheads are having a meeting, Strong Bad walks by with a very long sub sandwich. Homsar says that he is the son of a Chipwich. Strong Bad writes a fan fiction where an eight-foot sub sandwich constrictor "eng...sm...sploded out of nowhere!"
- Jibblies 2 — Homestar avoids getting caught by the Jibblies Painting because he was out making a sandwich.
- Email theme song — Homestar is about to take a bite out of several light bulbs between two pieces of bread.
- Blubb-O's Commercial — One of the offerings from Blubb-O's, to the surprise of the announcer, is the Isosceles Fish Sandwich.

- Email email thunder — Strong Bad raids Homestar's fridge for ice cream sandwiches.
- Fan Costumes '08 — During his shady drifter impression, Homestar says, "I'm tryin' to get me a sandwich or somethin'".
- Email hremail3184 — Strong Bad attempts to replace the Lappy 486 with the Steaky Steaky 6 Millenium Edition, which turns out to just be a steak sandwich.
