Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People (SBCG4AP) is an episodic series of games developed by Telltale Games for the PC and WiiWare platforms. The series was announced by a press release on April 10, 2008, followed shortly by an advertisement on homestarrunner.com and a trailer and screenshots on the Telltale Games website.
The game is being produced in full collaboration with The Brothers Chaps and Videlectrix, with Matt Chapman and Missy Chapman providing the voice acting. The 3D animation in the game is being rendered by Telltale's animators with attention to preservation of the look and feel of the 2D Flash cartoons.
This game will be divided into five episodes released in intervals of one month, the first of which is scheduled to be released in June 2008. Each episode will be downloadable through the Wii Shop Channel or through Telltale's website at a yet-to-be-determined cost.
A week and a half before the game was announced, actual gameplay footage from the game was featured in the YouTube video Strong Bad Gameways. Despite the flashing message on the screen, "ACTUAL GAMEPLAY FOOTAGE", it was unknown whether or not such a 3D game was actually in the works, until Telltale Games announced the game and confirmed that the Strong Bad Gameways footage was from it.
In April 11, the gaming magazine IGN covered the Nintendo Summit and several demo demonstrations of WiiWare. One of the demos was SBCG4AP, and they reported about the beginning of the game. Apparently the game starts in Strong Bad's house where he sings about his style. The first character interaction is with Homestar Runner, who sits on The Couch looking Sad. In the demo, you are also able kick The Cheat into the dryer and box against snakes. With a cell phone Strong Bad can prank call Marzipan, and there is an option to make Teen Girl Squad comics.
In the demo presentation it was shown the the game is a point-and-click type of game. The dialog is chosen with icons representing the topics. It was promised that each episode will have at least one mini-game, like the boxing one.
