Strong Sad's Tape Player is a 70's-style tape recorder. These machines lack a radio and are simple record and playback devices using audio cassettes. Strong Sad has used his to play various sound effects in a few different locations, including a cheering sound to support the Homestarmy in the Strong Bad Email army, and a message from Strong Sad on Main Page 23 when the user's mouse hovers over "Email". It was also stolen by Strong Bad so that he could win the "Strong Sad Lookalike Contest". He did this by recording Strong Sad's voice and playing it back while hiding the tape player under a faded gray college sweatshirt in the email impression.
