While the two don't interact that much, The King of Town appears to be quite abusive towards Strong Sad, and Strong Sad also does things to obstruct the King as well as cheering for him occasionally. Since both characters are considered "uncool", it is probably an attempt by both to make themselves feel cooler. However, there are a few times when they actually get along.

- Email impression — The King boos Strong Sad.
- Weclome Back — Strong Sad and the King compete in an obstacle course. After they both get stuck, Strong Sad wants to call it a draw, but The King of Town insists he is still ahead because he got stuck before Strong Sad.
