"It's the pool that we've always had..."
Homestar takes the plunge.

The Swimming Pool is where Homestar Runner characters are occasionally seen swimming and lounging. It is an inground pool with a checkerboard-patterned liner, and is presumably Olympic-sized or similar. It appears to be located somewhere in The Field, walking distance from the Contest Area. It also must be near an outlet, as a radio with a power cord supposedly connected to an outlet has been seen here. It first appeared in A Jumping Jack Contest, when Strong Bad was seen reclining in a pool chair while waiting for Homestar to fail at the jumping jack contest. Later, it appeared in the Theme Song Video, revealing a diving board that Homestar jumps off of.

For many years, the pool was not seen, though in the Strong Bad Email other days we learn that Strong Sad and Strong Bad had swim practice on Saturday mornings. In keep cool, he also claims that he "use[s] it all the time". This pool reappeared in the email keep cool, where it is revealed that Strong Bad is the resident life guard. According to him, the pool rules are to keep crap out of the pool (banning The Poopsmith), no rough-horsing, house-rousing, butt-patting, running, diving or swimming (not widely enforced). In the event of a lightning storm, all the characters he likes have to leave the pool, and the characters he hates [[Namely Coach Z, Homestar Runner, and The King Of Town) have to enter holding lightning rod-like objects.

In the book Where My Hat Is At?, a different, kidney-shaped, pool belonging to Homestar was seen.
