Does anybody know what "dry meal" is supposed to be?

The dictionary says:

Johnny's rv of my rv earlier got me to dig on Google and I found there's also a reference to robit from The Twilight Zone (1959).  Since TBC tend to not reference newer media, the reference is probably more a subtle Twilight Zone reference than a Futurama reference.  What do you all think?
