Thumbnail Issues
The four shrimp images(File:TwitterStinkomanPrawn1.jpg, File:TwitterStinkomanPrawn2.jpg, File:TwitterStinkomanPrawn3.jpg, File:TwitterStinkomanPrawn4.jpg) for this tweet are not rendering. I wonder if it has anything to do with their size (4096 x 4096)? We could use some admin help on this one. Worst case, should they be re-uploaded at a smaller resolution? --Stux 16:37, 10 January 2023 (UTC)
- Not an admin but I've also noticed this occurring with high-resolution images; I remembered the original version of File:standalonedisc.jpeg, 3264×2448, had issues with a thumbnail — checking there now it seems that it's not a matter of waiting a few days as months later there is still an "error creating thumbnail". With GIFs it usually takes a day or so to create a thumbnail but it seems there's an additional issue with very high-resolution still images. -- Bleu Ninja 18:08, 10 January 2023 (UTC)
- Looks like the images are now fixed! Did someone do something behind the scenes? --Stux 15:46, 11 January 2023 (UTC)
Process for creating new Months
Since the other years have been split into months, 2023 will eventually be split as well. I was thinking there are two possible approaches to this:
- We create a new month page (e.g. "2023 Jan") on the first of the month. (So on the first February tweet we create the February page.)
- We create a new month page after the previous month ends. (So on the first February tweet we move the January tweets to their own page.)
Originally I was thinking of going for Option 1, but then I realized Option 2 might be a thing. I'm leaning towards option 1 (which would mean that the current January 2023 content would be moved to its own monthly page), but I wanted to get everyone's feedback. I will also update existing and create new checklists soon. --Stux 15:53, 11 January 2023 (UTC)
- This whole months thing has been pretty weird to me, but I think option one makes the most sense. ----J∃ffJMan 16:17, 11 January 2023 (UTC)
- Hi Jeffjman, thank you for your feedback. In short, the monthly split is meant to reduce overall tweet page sizes to help reduce performance and other issues when editing these pages or even when seeing diffs (a little more information can be found on these discussions: Talk:@StrongBadActual#New Layout and Talk:@StrongBadActual#Splitting Pages). Yearly pages already were 100-300K bytes long, so splitting by month makes each month a little more manageable (10-50K bytes on average). Let me know if you still have any specific questions and I can try to answer them. --Stux 17:19, 11 January 2023 (UTC)
- I think that answers them all, I just wanted to know why and that sums it up pretty well, thanks a ton! ----J∃ffJMan 17:39, 11 January 2023 (UTC)
- Hi everyone, I've gone ahead and created the January 2023 page while using the checklist on the Talk:@StrongBadActual page. Hopefully, these instructions should make the monthly switchover easier. Also, I went with Option 1 taking Jeffjman's feedback and my own opinion into consideration. Although it's an extra step each month, this should maintenance of these tweet pages generally easier in the long term. --Stux 14:46, 12 January 2023 (UTC)

Editing the page
Houston, we've got issues. the whole deal right now is that there is no one avalible (save for me and Danky and Bleu Ninja, and HoveringSombrero (I think).). We need more people to update, as there are so many tweets that have come out in the past couple days (almost 4) and we need to get on that. Thanks, ----J∃ffJMan 19:12, 14 March 2023 (UTC)
